Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Caniço

A big place at a very reasonable price, tucked away in a nice spot but still very close to amenities. I followed up on many of Monica's recommendations and they were all fantastic! If this place is available, I highly recommend booking it!

We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

The place looks just like it does in the photos. We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast, and it had everything we needed. There's a supermarket just a one-minute drive away, and Pico do Arieiro is about 25–30 minutes by car. Unfortunately, we arrived during a storm, and it was a bit cold inside at first. However, there was a heater available, which we placed between the bedrooms, and it kept us comfortable. Andreia was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, even assisting us with an early check-in.

Notre séjour en famille dans ce logement était parfait. La maison, grande et belle, se trouve dans une impasse et est donc très calme. Sandro est à la fois sympathique, prévenant et réactif. Je recommande totalement.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

Amazing stay at a spacious, cozy and fully equipped apartment. The host was very welcoming and easily reachable. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the city. Couldn’t ask for more.

Tolle Unterkunft in ganz zentraler Lage. Ordentlich und sauber. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Super Ausstattung, inklusive Waschmaschine. Sehr zu empfehlen! Mit dieser Unterkunft macht man nichts verkehrt! Organisation sehr nett und freundlich. Bei Fragen wurde sofort reagiert und deshalb kann es nicht sein! Daher fünf Sterne!

Traumhaft eingerichtetes Appartement, täglich frühstücken am Balkon mit herrlichen Ausblick :) Perfekter Standort, ruhige Lage und tolle Restaurants in der Nähe Danke an Felix und Carlota :D

Einfach paradiesisch! Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an super wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist die beste, in der wir je waren – perfekt, um abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Alles war super sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Garten und der Pool sind traumhaft schön und bieten absolute Entspannung. Morgens mit dem Blick aufs Meer und dem Rauschen der Wellen aufzuwachen, war einfach unbezahlbar. Die Küche in der Unterkunft ist toll ausgestattet – und das Kochen in der Outdoorküche war ein echtes Highlight, da fehlte es wirklich an nichts. Die Kommunikation war durchweg herzlich und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem kleinen, charmanten Dorf mit ein paar Restaurants, in denen man wunderbar essen kann. Am Strand kann man traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge genießen – ein echtes Erlebnis! Für den täglichen Bedarf gibt es auch einen kleinen Supermarkt ganz in der Nähe. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

We recommend this place especially for those who want to work remotely. My partner and I worked both at the same time and everything went smooth. The communication between Paula was great a well. She was very proactive, polite and always responsive. Caniço (town where the Airbnb is) itself doesn't have much to offer, but we still liked it there as there is a supermarket close by and a Billard bar. One thing to note is that the flat has no washing machine. So you need a car to drive to a nearest self-service laundry station.

appartamento affacciato sull'oceano con vetrata e terrazza con splendido panorama. pulito e ben attrezzato (lavatrice e lavastoviglie,utensili da cucina,tostapane, phon,asse da stiro...) . arredamento un po' vintage ma curato. miglioreri unicamente le istruzioni per raggiungere l'appartamento perché erano poco chiare, ed essendo notte, erano difficile da seguire al buio. consigliatissimo!

Logement très très propre ! Un palace d'appartement, il y a aussi un canapé lit pour accueillir plus de personnes. Le seul bémol est qu'il faut aller à un autre point pour récupérer les cles. Et le lien communiqué par la hôte pour l'accès à l'appartement ne fonctionne pas. Sinon, tout très bien

Queríamos pasar unos días en Madeira y decidimos escoger este alojamiento. No nos arrepentimos de nada. La ubicación es muy buena, a 15 de minutos del aeropuerto y el apartamento muy bonito, limpio y cuidado. Coincide totalmente con las fotos. Debra es una anfitriona de 10!!! Nos escribió nada más aterrizar nuestro avión, nos recibió y nos mostró todo el apartamento, además nos dio muchas recomendaciones para visitar de la isla, así como restaurantes y sitios de interés. Siempre muy atenta y amable. Si volvemos a la isla sin duda repetiremos!!!!💕🇵🇹

We had a truly wonderful stay at Lauren’s place! The apartment is spacious, spotless, and beautifully welcoming. The view is absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the seaside, esplanade, and local shops. The area is peaceful, and the locals were incredibly kind and friendly. Maria’s 8th-floor apartment was perfect! Super clean, spacious, and the balcony had amazing views of the marina, Santa Catarina park, and the city. It has two bedrooms — one with a double bed, the other with two singles — both with private bathrooms and closets. There are three bathrooms total, all spotless. The kitchen had everything, plus a dishwasher and coffee machine. Laura, who welcomed us, was so kind and helpful. She messaged me before arrival, arranged parking, explained everything in the apartment, and even brought us a big bottle of water and fresh coffee capsules the next day. She also gave great local tips. The building has great security and private parking. Honestly, the whole stay was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madeira — close to everything!

Goed gelegen accomodatie. Kleine supermarkt en bakkerij heel dichtbij. Evenals restaurants waar je lekker kon eten. Alles aanwezig voor een zorgeloze vakantie. luchthaven en Funchal op minder dan 15min rijden.

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

Nous avons séjourné une semaine à 4 dans un appartement très agréable. Nous avons apprécié les 2 chambres et les 2 salles de bain. Idéal pour 2 couples. Superbe appartement ! Parfait pour un séjour a Madère. Le logement est tout équipé avrc une salle de bain par chambre ce qui est très pratique pour un groupe de voyageurs, la résidence avec piscine est un vrai plus. Je recommande fortement ce logement. Hôte disponible pour toute question.

Verblijf van 12 dagen. Prachtig appartement met terras op de 6e verdieping, uitzicht op zee. Lift aanwezig. De inrichting van het appartement is zeer smaakvol! Slechts 15 minuten lopen naar het oude centrum en de boulevard. Host Carlos is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert snel. Goede supermarkt met vriendelijke mensen om de hoek, evenals 'snackbar' voor een koffie, drankje met wat lekkers. Jardim Santa Luzia op 5 minuten lopen. Mooi park met prachtige bomen en een 'snackbar'. Je voelt je hier meteen thuis en bij terugkeer naar Madeira zullen we dan ook zeker weer voor dit appartement van Carlos kiezen. Een echte aanrader! Pobyt w apartamencie u Jennifer uważam za jeden z lepszych w jakich byłam. Nasza grupa czuła sie w mieszkaniu bardzo komfortowo, mieliśmy dużo miejsca i każdy mógł swobodnie spędzić czas. Widok z balkonu byl świetny, widok na ocean i okoliczne plantacje bananów cieszyło nasze oczy. Posiłki przygotowywaliśmy sami w kuchni, która była w pełni wyposażona oraz było bardzi dużo naczyń i sztućców. W pokoju z grillem i bilardem super spędzaliśmy wieczory, każdy znalazl coś dla siebie ;) Bardzo polecam pobyt u Jennifer, najlepsza opcja jaka można spotkać na wyspie. Pozdrawiam i życzę każdym nowym gościom cudownie spędzonego czasu na tej pięknej. wyspie
