An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish…. A beautiful house and gardens absolutely spotless through out …. With the added bonus of the bar and games room and spacious hot tub was such a lovely break for our friends 50th Hosts were fantastic …..we will defo be booking again

Lovely little stay very homely feeling and peaceful, also a lovely touch to the house with some great books that make you slow down in this busy life. (Myself isn’t a book person but definitely got me reading). A lovely garden for the children to run around in very unique camp fore and hot tub tops it off. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Great accommodation- we loved our stay. Very relaxing / private setting but great location to explore the area. Incredibly clean and had everything we could need for our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodpecker Barn........exactly as it appears online and pristine inside. Lovely peaceful location.....great to return to after a day out with the added bonus of the hot tub. Lovely clean property which was perfect for our needs.......and excellent communications between ourselves and Sophie the owner. Not far to either Kings Lynn or Wisbech .....had a very nice meal at The Elm Tree Inn 10 minutes away. Had some great days out at Banham zoo,Sea Life Center and Burleigh House along with a very pleasant 5 hours cruising on the Broads. All in all a very enjoyable week and we very much recommend this property. Ged.

Lovely house and location, was ideal for all ages in the party. Amenities were very good and enjoyed using the hot tub. Slight problem finding the house when following the satnav but was able to contact the host quickly who gave perfect directions. would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Angela and Stephen are phenomenal hosts. The water lodge exceeded our expectations and such a lovely touch with the welcome gifts, me and my friends felt completely at home. The attention to detail throughout was amazing. Will definitely stay again. Thank you again to both of you Kirsty x

We had an amazing time in a beautiful place. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone trying to get away from the busy world.

We had a lovely stay in Willow cottage. It is extremely comfortable and well kitted out, I can’t think of anything missing. Everything in the kitchen we needed, including staples such as condiments and oil, even decaf coffee and rubber gloves. The only small hiccup was reversing out of the small parking place, my husband had to guide me out, stopping the traffic 😆. Fortunately we only had to do that once when we left, as it was an easy short walk to the centre of town. We even got the train to Cambridge, easy 👍.

We had a wonderful nights stay and wished we could have stayed longer. You feel at home the minute you walk through the door and the Prosecco hunt is a bit of fun to start your stay off on the right foot.

We spent most of our time hiking, but had a few quality hours enjoying a nice relaxing evening afterwards. the house suited us perfectly. we would happily recommend. we couldn't locate the cutlery in the recess draw, but not a big deal

Spent one night in this peaceful place, beautifully located on the edge of the village. Stunning views. Lovely welcome from Caroline & Hugh and some great recommendations. Drove to The Tickel Arms in the next village and sat in their sunny beer garden. Days Bakery also worth a visit. Park & ride at Trumpington was so easy for our day out in Cambridge. NT Wimpole Estate was stunning too. Lots to see & do. A great stay!

We had a lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay at the Old Dairy. The place was so light and airy with beautiful views and very comfortable. The surrounding garden was a great safe and secure space for our dog to enjoy and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio. We will be sure to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. Exactly what we needed - peaceful surroundings, a very kind and hospitable host, stunning countryside right on the doorstep and a wonderful local pub a short, ten minute stroll away. This is a fabulous place with easy access to the park and ride and to the city of Cambridge. Wimpole Hall is definitely worth a visit too. We are planning our return trip here already. It’s a real gem.

The character cottage had everything that we could have wished for, and Katrien was a wonderful responsive host. It's location & the town are absolutely beautiful, and it's only a few minutes walk into a town centre that takes you back in time, with its wide range of proper traditional shops & restaurants. 10/10!!

Sojourned at Mila's over the NYE to get away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage is charming and it is located in a peaceful village. Incredibly clean, cosy and characteristic of the Cambridgeshire countryside. Mila was professional and accommodating and the place was set up with everything that one would require! It was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Once again many thanks to Graham and Helen for letting us use this lovely little cottage over Christmas. It really is charming, snug and comfy, it is quiet and peaceful with a garden off the road and just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Whittlesey, which is a great base for exploring this area. It is fully equipped, very well organized and there are lots of little details we really appreciate and really make each stay special. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cottage we had family come from London to join us picked them up at Royston which was much nearer to Cambridge and we used park and ride to visit Cambridge which was very good avoiding the traffic chaos. Would have been nice to let our dog off lead but gate always open so wouldn’t risk letting him off but nevertheless he was very settled at the cottage. Highly recommend The Blue Ball Inn in Granchester lovely staff excellent food and good value for money, hopefully return in the near future.

Perfect location for our group, being 5 adults, wanting to be in that area for a family get-together. We all appreciated there being an ensuite shower room for each bedroom. Loved having the field behind the house, with lambs. Lots of parking, good for us as we had three cars between us.

Celine was a friendly and responsive host. The cottage was stunning and the settings around it beautiful. I would highly recommend this cottage to anybody planning a trip to the area.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage overlooking open fields. Clean and comfortable with everything you need and bi-fold doors that mean you can have the living room open to the patio. Very close to Stamford but feels in the middle of nowhere.

A lovely, quiet,comfortable, clean and well equipped home away from home. We enjoyed four days of exploring the Cambridge area. Recommend the Park and Ride into Cambridge. Cam Spice just down the road provided a delicious dinner. Would recommend a stay at Rose Cottage, where the roses are spectacular.
