Brilliant place really lovely, need deeper cleaning between stays my partner does run her cleaning company so we have high standards but old dog hair and lots of dust isn’t the greatest! But the location and property is beautiful

Lovely house and beautiful location for our mother’s 60th celebration family gathering. The beautiful views from the garden, fire pit and hot tub were a great hit. We did two lovely walks from the property - one to a vineyard - and there are some fun cafes/bars in the village as well. Sandra and her husband made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and communication was very quick. I would recommend this property :)

From start to finish, this place is an absolute dream. So peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect little weekend getaway. The house and surroundings were absolutely spotless, the ducks were adorable, and the attention to detail with providing extras needed for comfort was superb. Clare was a fantastic host. Always responsive but never intrusive. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a few days or more with your partner - or just on your own - where you can recharge your batteries, this is it.

Very cozy and quiet cottage in an idyllic area. Super friendly host and had plenty of great recommendations for us. The sauna is also Finnish approved! 😉

We have just returned from a 5 night family break in Brighton/Hove and we had such a wonderful Stay at Liz’s house. The house was spotlessly clean and plenty of space for 10 of us including a few children. The hot tub and trampoline were a great addition to the house and kept the little ones entertained. The location was perfect for us as we love Hove and it was only a 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants and also a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here and we can’t wait to go back again soon! X

We absolutely loved our stay such much so we didn't want to leave. Sitting & having a few drinks with the family in the beautiful garden after a day out was very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again & would highly recommend - could not fault our stay. Thank you Crystal x

Lovely stay in Julie’s cosy cottage in the heart of Lewes. Everything was very nicely furnished - bed especially comfortable! And lovely touch to have a couple of dog bowls there for our little whippet. Julie was super communicative and helpful with suggestions for parking etc. Thank you for having us!

Great place to stay very convenient location for the beach and walking the dog, sightseeing the local area, Arundel Castle a must. Would recommend the beach Cafe for your morning coffee which is a 20 min walk away and Ferring in the evening.

this cosy little chapel has it all. it's in a great place and quite private. it's got everything you could want. it's lovely and clean and the bed is very comfortable. there were lots of little touches and Lyndal.was always on hand if we needed anything. we will definitely consider staying there again.

Our stay was everything we could have wished for, for the very special occasion for which we needed the accommodation - to be present for the birth of our first grandchild! The property was just as described and Jane (and Guy) could not have been more hospitable.

Really enjoyed my stay at Jerry's. The Downs are right on the doorstep and you can take lovely, long beautiful walks very easily. Great if you have dogs.The house has everything you need and the Hampden Arms is a great local pub that's worth a visit. The house is also very convenient for the local supermarket as well as Birling Gap, Alfriston, Seven Sisters etc. My one suggestion would be that as it is a dog friendly listing that it would make dog owners lives immeasurably more relaxing if the garden was entirely securely fenced. The dogs could also enjoy the. outside area/garden safely. Other than that I would thoroughly recommend this place to stay.

Oh my goodness such a beautiful cottage in a fab location. Well equipped and tastefully styled. We enjoyed our stay so much…we came to visit my Dad on his 95th birthday and would definitely love to return. Really thoughtful extras, hand soap and shampoo etc. lovely bread and eggs. Even hot water bottles and box of tissues.

Great house in the heart of the countryside close to Lewes and the South Downs. Bright and airy cottage with a wonderful private garden.

We loved our stay at Chris’ place. The location is perfect for exploring the Sussex countryside (Petworth, Ridgeview etc all nearby). The house was clean and well equipped, and Chris was communicative throughout. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape from the grind with friends or family - with the added bonus of a village pub in spitting distance!

Rebecca was an incredibly accommodating host from start to finish – flexible with our check-in and check-out times, which was a huge help as we were visiting for business. The house itself was beautiful and had everything we needed, including a generous supply of great coffee! The beds were super comfortable, and the whole place was spotless. It’s in a lovely, quiet area towards Hove, with plenty of great coffee shops and local spots nearby – and just a short walk to the seafront. We genuinely can’t fault Rebecca’s place or her hosting. We’d absolutely stay again if we get the chance!

Really enjoyed staying here. Settled in really quickly like our own home. Immaculate. Lovely garden with plants for bees and insects. Steyning high street just a few yards away with lots of interesting shops. Art Trails and cafes.

A delightful cottage in a beautiful setting. We especially wanted somewhere quiet and rural, surrounded by nature, yet within east access of towns. Pippins was absolutely perfect.

There were 10 of us staying six adults and four kids and we all fitted in well. the stairs was a bit awkward with the cases but was only once up and one down. The facilities where all top quality in cooking to entertainment. It was a good base for us as a means to visit town, the train station is only across the the road and 10 mins into town. Finally for me the parking outside the house was a big bonus as i could not find this when looking at hotels, it all cost extra. All in all a good couple of days. the welsh Joneses

This beautifully preserved historic cottage is perfectly situated in the heart of Lewes with easy walking access to the town center. The property is immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, filled with fascinating historical conservation that really bring the building’s rich past to life. We especially loved the peaceful setting - while centrally located, it feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The back windows offer lovely hillside views and we woke each morning to wonderful birdsong. It’s an ideal base for exploring the area and experiencing a piece of authentic local history.
