Great location which is at the end of harbour road and very peaceful. View is great and nature reserve is really pretty. All amenities were exactly as described. All the vintage games consoles et. Makes the place very unique and quirky. 1 minute walk to the beach which is also quite unique in the way it has been shaped by the sea. Shops 10 minutes walk. Pubs 20 minutes walk.

Ciera was fantastic! Very helpful, responsive and kind. The space was cozy and comfortable, very lovely. The heaters made the place very toasty which was just what we needed after a day out! The area was fab, and the location of the flat was very close to all the things we wanted to do. I’d highly reccomend this place!

I loved Carole’s flat and the Hastings/Saint Leonard’s area; I would definitely return. Carole is amazing and was really friendly/helpful at checkin and with advice throughout my stay. The flat itself is super cute, the kitchen is well equipped, and the location is perfect. Carole’s flat is right by several bus stops, the train station, grocery stores, and Kings Rd. If you’re into walking, you can easily access Hastings and there’s a bunch of shops, restaurants, and pubs (the walk scenery is very pretty, as it’s right by the beach. If you’re ever lucky enough to catch a sunrise/sunset, it’s gorgeous and I highly recommend it). The locals are super friendly and I quickly made a bunch of friends. In terms of tourist options, there’s a bunch in Hastings, but Bodiam Castle and Battle Abbey in the surrounding towns are also worth checking out. London is also very easily accessible. I great stay, would definitely recommend 😊🌊🇬🇧

Kate’s Place is beyond description. Perfect in every way. The converted barn has every modern convenience. Comfortable, lots of room, very stylish, quiet and secluded. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows which is always very important we loved it. Easy access to the west, London or the further south. We made several day trips. Kate is an amazing host and made our stay perfect. We can’t wait to come back.

I had a wonderful weekend, staying at Abi's super-comfortable, beautifully furnished and very well equipped house. It really did feel like home from home. Parking nearby was really easy (thank you for the permit!), and it's a short walk into town - time of public transport on the doorstep, if required. I highly recommend the Flour Pot Bakery, just down the road, fot fantastic pastries and bread. Communication with Abi was great throughout, she could not have been more welcoming and helpful. This was one of my best ever stays, and I wholeheartedly recommend Abi's house as a base fur exploring Brighton and East Sussex. Thank you, Abi!

We had a wonderful Christmas week at Flagpole Cottage. The hosts' home was clean, welcoming and extremely well-equipped. We had everything necessary for preparing family feasts, having a wood fire, plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. Robin and Francine even left a beautifully decorated real Christmas tree for us the enjoy (and put our presents under), a very thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the hot tub and trampoline (we were lucky with the weather, cold but not rainy) as well as the local walks to pubs. We bought our Christmas turkey (ordered in advance) at the fabulous Flower Farm shop, which is nearby and is a great source for all things edible. Robin and Francine's guide to local amenities and activities is thorough and quite useful. Robin was very attentive and open to queries but everything was so clearly laid out we didn't really have any questions. One last thing - the gardens are exceptional - even in December! I was in awe - especially the topiary. The old yew trees! xx

This was a truly perfect stay. The house is even better in real life. Bright, tastefully decorated, comfortable, with everything you could need. The bath is huge! And all a stones throw from the beach. Fiona was really a great host and made our stay not only easy, but sprinkled some wonderful finishing touches to make our girls weekend extra special. Highly recommend.

This place was incredible. We had a girls weekend the place was exactly what it was described as and the pretty pink house was stunning. Lots of room inside the house, tidy, clear instructions, dressing gowns and slippers provided for all of us. Her communication throughout the stay was so quick and felt at ease throughout the weekend. Hot tub was a bonus as well as the amount of outdoor space for us all to soak up the sun. Will be returning again 100%.

We enjoyed our experience in your lovely property, especially the piano and table tennis plus the outdoor space. A lovely setting to have a relaxing weekend to get away from the city and catch-up with friends. A lovely house in a private setting, perfect for a gathering. Great local amenities and 6 minute walk from the train station. The House itself is beautiful, with large reception rooms, spacious bedroom and a well appointed kitchen. The outdoor seating area and bbq areas are perfect, and the hot tub was a great addition. We didn’t use the outdoor bar area in the end but only because we were enjoying the rest of the property so much! Thank you!

Our stay was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and loads more for a group of two families including 4 adults, 3 teens and 2 dogs staying for a week. The beds were comfortable and the living spaces were big with plenty of furniture and the kitchen had everything you could possibly want. The garden was also immaculate and very peaceful and we enjoyed the hot tub and table tennis and all the music/instruments. The village is also lovely with a handy shop and bakery and was in the perfect location for us, close to Hastings, Rye and Battle. A very special week :0)

The flat is located in a brand new building right in the heart of Farnham. The location could not be more ideal and underground parking is a big bonus. The flat was clean and spacious and the building was very quite. The ad lists the flat as having a super king size bed in the master which should be 180 CM (or 6 feet) wide and it is not a super king rather a queen which was dissapointing. The master bath drain is not draining properly and there is hot water availability issues which other reviewers have mentioned. Believe the boiler is not up to the task to serve that flat and although we did follow the directions to use the boost button function on the boiler, it did not help (I had two ice cold showers). The host is very quick to respond to messages and the manager was very gracious to meet us and allow for an early check-in. The hosts are spot on and the flat is perfect for Farnham.. any issues could easily be sorted so very highly recommend.

Dan’s flat got a great range of tech gadgets which are super easy to adapt to and the place is really nice, we helped ourselves to some beer and prosecco. Dan’s been super responsive and considerate. Will definitely come back for more staycations thanks Dan!!!

I stayed at the Mermaid Inn for 2 nights on a much needed retreat to get some writing done, and couldn't have stayed in a more perfect place. The flat is cosy and comfortable, with big windows and sea views. Everything you need to be self sufficient is there, and it was a wonderful space to find peace and quiet. The sea is a 10 minute walk, and it's about 15 minutes into the centre of Brighton so all very accessible. I would definitely recommend a stay at Lol's for calm and relaxation close to the sea.

We decided to stay here after being let down by another property just 3 days before we were due to go to Brighton for my friends 50th Birthday. So pleased we were able to book this property. 8 of us stayed quite comfortably in this property. It was in an ideal location. Would recommend and revisit.

Helpful host and great home

Debbie's apartment is beautifully furnished. It is airy with lots of light and feels spacious. It is very modern and clean, everything felt new. The kitchen was well furnished and we were able to prepare our own meals with ease. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes walk to the high-street, and a beautiful park is opposite, and a large Morrisons super market is just a few minutes walk away too. The apartment is set back from the main roads and is quiet and tranquil. Debbie responded almost immediately to all enquiries and everything was simple. Thank you so much Debbie.

Great location for all the things I had planned and my trip was a great success. The check-in with Martyn was easy and he keeps his place very clean and free of clutter. Martyn is particularly knowledgeable about the area and provided some great tips on navigating the area and eating out. Free parking is available outside but it does get busy so it is useful to be patient. Martyn's place is on the 3rd floor and so it is useful to be mindful of the stairs and so if you are able to manage the stairs there is no problem. The upside of the stairs is the view from the window. Certainly recommend this Airbnb for those visiting St. Leonard's and the local area.
