Frankie and Jonathan kept up informed throughout the build up to our stay. Really friendly hosts you can have a chat with. Frankie came to make sure we had everything we needed on arrival and gave us the lay of the land. The cabin and it's location was just what we wanted for this little break. A beautiful part of the country, so peaceful and quiet. Great touches inside the cabin giving the place a special feel. We would happily come again for a few days. Many thanks Darren and Sallie

My wife and I stayed four nights at Oak Tree Retreat In June. It is a lovely place. It is obvious that a lot of work and care has gone into making this a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Our hosts, Alexia & James, were very friendly and helpful. The gifts of bread, biscuits, hot chocolate and marshmallows on arrival were a generous touch and much appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cabin had all we needed for our stay during which we mainly self-catered. The cooking arrangements were great. The absolute highlight was the hot tub which we enjoyed for three of our four nights! There is lovely walking country within a five minute drive from the Cabin. Local shops and food outlets are close by. I would certainly recommend Oak Tree Retreat to anyone.

Vicy's place was lovely. It had everything we could need. You can tell, alot of thought had gone into the cabin to help guests to feel at home. Everything worked and was clean. There was fresh milk, a bottle of water & even wine in the (nicely sized) refrigerator. Snacks had been left for us, fresh eggs and the coffee machine had been filled. The view from the deck is just stunning and there are some lovely routes to walk through, lush green surroundings in every direction. Thankyou all at Turtle farm for our lovely stay. We would definitely enjoy a return visit in the future!

We had a lovely stay from the moment we arrived till the minute we reluctantly left. The family at the farm were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We loved seeing the animals and learning all about the farm. It’s very peaceful and set in a beautiful surrounding and the accomodation was great. Beds were comfortable, the shower was fab and the hot tub very nice for an early morning and evening dip! We will definitely return ….

Absolutely amazing stay in the cabin and can't wait to go again. It was the perfect place to slow down - so secluded in such beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and there's a sauna on the farm, which was a surprise added bonus! We had lovely lunch at Duke of Cumberland Arms which Edd and Mea recommended. All in all a fantastic place and wonderful hosts. Thank you!

We highly recommend the Alpaca Lodge! The communication was excellent from the outset, with Laura being very accommodating to our requests. We appreciated the freedom to explore the land within the sensible guidelines provided. The cute welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The living space was great, but the jacuzzi was truly outstanding. Soaking in it with the fairy lights creating such a lovely atmosphere was a highlight of our trip. We'd happily stay again!

I stayed for one night at this charming cottage by the pond and really enjoyed the peaceful, natural surroundings. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway, with lovely views and the added charm of nearby farm animals. The place was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the excellent facilities provided. Thank you to the host for keeping the cottage so clean and well-equipped. It was a short but truly relaxing experience. highly recommended!

Jessica’s place was a wonderful choice we made . She was really helpful with guiding us to the place aa we were arriving a bit later than midnight . The place was really cute and neat inside. Definitely doing this again !

We had such a great stay at the cabin. It’s so secluded and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit under the stars with our dog. The bed was big and comfy and Nick was a communicative host. We’ll definitely be back.

Peaceful, well priced accommodation, hosts were friendly and helpful (as was Milo the dog!) with a meadow on site to walk my dogs on lead before their breakfast. Absence of wifi wasn't an issue for a short stay as 5G was accessible on my mobile.

Beautiful cabin - cosy, peaceful and secluded. Loved the outdoor space with eating area, hot tub and fire pit. Mandy was brilliant - very responsive and friendly, and had great recommendations for the area. Alfriston within walking distance, gorgeous village with excellent pubs and shops. Would highly recommend!

This is a beautiful gem of a place and extremely good value. The garden house is cosy and yet supremely functional. It has been well thought out. The kitchen is excellent with a gas stove, two ovens and an air fryer. There is an electric shower and large screen TV. The beds are very comfortable and up in the roof creating a very snug place for rest. I loved the place and will be back.

Beautiful lodge with such lovely surroundings, everything we could wish for, lovely watching the wild life, birds, fish even deer. We like our privacy and Carolin gave us that, would highly recommend.

Really, a very charming place. The cabin is better equipped than described, and the bed surprisingly comfortable and warm. The area in general is very peaceful, yet, if you need, civilisation is not so far away. In some respects, the best of both worlds. I had a family of ducklings with me for the duration of my stay and the resident kingfisher made several appearances, though I struggled to capture it on camera in spite of my best efforts... The site also has other unexpected pleasantries, nooks, crannies, stump circles and a communal shelter should it pour. I did have the site to myself so remained content with my own space, but it's a nice feature. The shower was a bit different, but actually worked quite well, to be fair, and did the trick. For those interested, phone signal was good. All in, I was sad to leave. I hope to return, perhaps during a different season... What a peaceful, tranquil haven.

Suzie greeted us when we checked in which was really lovely, especially as we were running late. This was not a problem and she stayed to show us the property. It had everything we needed for our short stay and was clean and comfortable. The lovely pastries for breakfast went down well with fresh milk topped up daily.

Michele was very accommodating of all our requests and went out of her way to be helpful. The cabin was lovely, clean and quiet. Lots of details had been thought of and amenities had been provided which made our stay very comfortable. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Tony’s. The hot tub was hot and so easy to use. It was completely private and had a lovely outdoor sitting area and table to eat meals outside. Tony put in milk, croissants and jam and a bottle of Prosecco which was very thoughtful. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Amazing stay in Brighton. The property had a stunning view and short bus drive into town Annaick kindly gave instructions for the public transport. The cabin was spotless with fantastic decoration and facilities. Would definitely stay again.
