Great place to stay at was on the outskirts of San Antonio so was peaceful and quiet and H‑E‑B and Walmart was close by hope to stay there again someday

This was my sixth stay at Martha and Jim’s, and it truly feels like a peaceful oasis away from the chaos of everyday life. Their home is something special—calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained in every way. Martha and Jim are the most attentive hosts I’ve ever encountered, always making sure everything is just right, yet they’re never intrusive. They strike the perfect balance of being available without ever being overbearing. I’ve written several reviews for them already, and honestly, I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate their hospitality and the comfort of their beautiful space. If you’re looking for rest, beauty, and a place that feels like a home away from home, this is it.

Barbara and Reid were amazing hosts! I love how inviting and helpful they were! They met us in the morning to have a quick chat! The guesthouse was a perfect size for my two friends and I. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and they even supplied us with some ice for our cooler. Thank yall so much for everything the stay was beautiful!

Location! Location! We were in town for a meeting in downtown Austin. Both nights we stayed we walked up the street to awesome restaurants in the evening.

Vicki's place was amazing. It was beautiful and clean and quiet. So many details and thoughtful amenities. Beautiful shower and soaking tub and comfy bed. Her and cohosts were so sweet and able to accommodate me last minute which was much needed. Thank you guys so much

So close to everything and feels like you are on a private piece of country. Nothing but views from the backyard to enjoy while swimming! The ponies were adorable and feeding them the provided carrots 🥕 was such a treat! Our family can sleep anywhere and 3 adults and two children had zero issues getting great sleep. So cozy and fun and the hosts were amazing.

Our family truly enjoyed celebrating our 2 yr old’s birthday in such a private, clean and serene environment. Would absolutely recommend to our friends and family!

I’d highly recommend staying here. Everything is exactly as described. The bed is comfortable and place was clean. It was safe, quiet, and private. It will be the first place I look to for availability when traveling to the Houston area.

We enjoyed The Shack very much!! We take a yearly trip to the Whimberly areas and this year everything meet our expectations! Joshua was very attentive and we enjoyed his home.

1st time staying here, for a quick concert concert trip at Moody center. Place was nice and as described. Bed was comfy, couch was good. Tv had a signed in Netflix which was pretty cool. Neighborhood seems safe and quiet. Good for a couple or solo traveler. My only negative which is nothing bad was the bathroom door squeaking as you open or close. I’d stay here again!

I stayed at Esmeralda’s tiny home for 3 nights. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Esmeralda had thought of everything. The space is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail—cozy, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made me feel both pampered and cared for. She provided so many extras I didn’t expect: plush towels, quality toiletries, snacks, a well-stocked kitchen, and fridge w/creamer and waters, etc. . It felt like staying at a boutique retreat made just for me. Mornings were magical—waking up to the soft sounds of nearby sheep & roosters and sipping coffee with a peaceful view. At night, the quiet was absolute bliss. Esmeralda is also incredibly kind, generous, and communicative. She checked in just enough to make sure I had everything I needed but always gave me space to relax and enjoy. This tiny home radiates love and care. I had an ideal time here and left feeling recharged. I’ll be back!

This is the perfect little spot for a chill trip to Granbury. Megan was super communicative, the stay felt very clean and private, the wifi worked great, and it was very peaceful. I’d definitely book again. The only thing to note is that the ceilings of the loft are very low - I am 5’2” and had to bend over to walk to the bed. I got dressed and kept my clothes downstairs, which I didn’t mind at all!

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming bunkhouse! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The peaceful country setting was exactly what I needed to unwind. The hot tub was a dream, perfect for relaxing under the stars after a long day. I also really enjoyed the cozy fire pit, which made for such peaceful evenings. One of the sweetest surprises was the fresh treats left for guests. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. The host also provided excellent travel directions, which made getting there a breeze. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought-out. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy retreat with plenty of charm, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back.

I continue to recommend this lovely, peaceful, private place! I think this was about my 5th stay, & I always enjoy it at the end of a long day with my little granddaughters. It's spacious & perfect for me but would easily accomodate several more people. The owners respond quickly to questions or issues. I especially appreciate when they notify me that I can check in early when available.

This is a great place to stay for a weekend away! Not only was Stephanie a wonderful host, the house was perfect and had everything we needed and wanted. Close to downtown while being away in a peaceful area was the perfect fit for us! Highly recommend 😊

We loved our stay at Kim's ranch! The house had so many daily necessities that all I needed to do was order my groceries. The kids were never bored and Otis was too cute. If we're ever back in the area, I know where we're staying. 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. The highlight being spending time in the beautiful lap pool. Our instructions to access the place were clear and we had everything we needed. There was a great place to get coffee and breakfast right around the corner and we walked to dinner and events in downtown Austin. I would absolutely recommend this place to other travelers.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and full of beautiful natural light that made it feel warm and welcoming. One of the highlights for me was the pool. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Everything was just as described, and I truly enjoyed my time here. Highly recommend!

The space was prepared for us like we were family; they put books and toys out for our kid, there were toiletries, snacks, plenty of pillows, and the space was spotless. We HIGHLY recommend this host.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Kristina’s BNB! Cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable, and it smelt like a fresh garden walking in because you’re surrounded by a garden! Instructions to check in and check out were super clear and easy to follow, and the host was very sweet on top of everything! This was our first time in Austin and I’m so glad we had a great first experience. I would totally come back and stay at Kristina’s place again. I highly recommend staying here for a guaranteed relaxing vacation. :)

Let me start by saying this place was so beautiful, clean , cozy , beautiful and private, the beds stood out to us, sooo comfortable. Everything you need was thought of , just minutes away from amazing restaurants, clubs and shops. The pool , hot tub courtyard area was so relaxing, the right size for 4 adults. Will definitely explore other properties they offer or even return in a heartbeat 💓
