Robbie is a fantastic host. We travelled nearly 7hrs to get to the location and I asked him if it would be possible to check in early. He was so so flexible and couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to check in at 12 which really really helped us out. The lodge is in a great location if you enjoy walking or exploring. You have a beach nearby as well as loads of walks. We went for dinner in Dunoon at the 51st state which was very nice! I also left my jacket at Robbie’s lodge and he has been kind enough to return it to me. Lovely place to explore… thank you

A beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Amazing space for larger parties - so much social space for all to gather and lovely comfortable living rooms and bedrooms too. Everything you could ever need inside the house, from fully stocked kitchen to board games and books. Beautiful gardens outside too which are fully fenced and gated so perfect for kids and the dog. Gorgeous walks close by and a great wee local store in the petrol station only a minutes drive away. A wonderful, helpful and responsive host too and an all round lovely place to stay. We had a lovely stay in Dunoon, it is a very quiet a peaceful place and we really enjoyed our stay. Paddy is friendly and helpful and her dog is beautiful and very sweet. Both beds were very comfortable, the shower was warm and powerful and the homemade bread was a great touch- we thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you again :)

I absolutely loved my day at Simon's place. The location is stunning, especially with the bay windows looking out to the sea. The little café down the road was wonderful and it was so nice arriving to some local coffee and a packet of shortbread! Simon was very helpful and accommodating, especially when my husband and child decided to join me for the end of my trip. He happily provided more linens, and even let me charge my electric car using his port. He also offered use of his BBQ and left us coals to use while he was away. You couldn't ask for more! The location was perfect for a relaxing day, and lots of beautiful walks. I also managed to get a bit of work done too! I will certainly be booking again, Both for myself and for some family.
