Waterfront holiday rentals in Basel

We felt so lucky to stay in Sidonia and Elie’s beautiful heritage apartment, in the heart of Basel, right on the Rhine, in one of Klein Basel’s most historic streets. Views were direct onto the Rhine, and delightful food and restaurant options were right outside our doorstep along the Rhine. Our hosts, Sidonia and Elie, were so lovely and helpful, greeting us in person, and were super responsive. They even organised a Basel Pass for us which made getting around so easy. We would love to stay here again next year!

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was just the perfect size for our family-cozy yet spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The garden was a real highlight: beautifully kept and very welcoming, a great space for both kids and adults to relax. Everything was spotless and clean, and the quiet surroundings made it ideal for our children’s bedtime. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the essential drinks that were provided to the baby crib offered for our little one. These details really made a difference and showed how much care went into hosting 🤗 Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay! There was everything in the apartment that we needed. It is very nicely equipped. The communication with Bianca was great and she was very helpful.

Great location, very walkable and appreciated the basal card that Zoe provided i before our arrival . Also Appreciated having two keys to the apt. Zoe was very helpful, she FaceTimed and then stopped over to help instruct me on how to use the dryer. Beds were comfortable. This apt met our needs. Would stay here again.

The place is very conveniently located, especially if you want to ski or toboggan. All of this is just a few steps from the apartment. There are also more slopes a few kilometers away. The proximity to Freiburg is also convenient, and if desired you can reach Colmar in just an hour. In addition, there is a magnificent view in just two kilometers – you can see Switzerland about 100 kilometers away. The altitude ensures snow security in the winter and pleasantly cool evenings in the summer. The road is nearby but there is not much traffic and it is about 50 meters away so there is no noise.

Well we had a fantastic stay at Tobias’ place. The apartment was clean, welcoming and ideally located. The connections to get everywhere you need in Basel - and further afield - can be found right outside the door and across the road. Basel has a great public transport network. The area is lovely and quiet. Not far from a number of stores on foot which is great for stocking up. Communication was fast and Tobias was a pleasure to deal with. We had no issues at all and if we ever visit Basel again we would 100% stay here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good for a night in transit. We had booked a room, but the bed was not entirely to our liking. Tabea immediately offered us another available room, which we were very happy with! Super clean and good communication!

I had fantastic time staying at Tabea's house , a place that truly feels like home. From the moment you open the door, you could feel with how much love and attention it was put together. Tabea is an awesome host, sweet and responsive, everything was perfectly smooth and relaxed. I am surely coming back at first occasion!

We spent wonderful Easter holidays in Simone's old town cottage in St.Ursanne. The place is very cozy with a homely wooden stove and well-kept garden. It's easy to communicate with Simone and everything was welcoming and clean.

I was allowed to spend one night in one of Tabea's rooms. The room and also the shared bathroom were very clean, cute and functional. Check-in info came at the right time and made the self-check-in easy. The room is located near the old town and is easily accessible on foot from the train station. All in all, I highly recommend the accommodation and have no negative criticisms.

We enjoyed ourselves at Jean-Claude's place. A cozy place, a top pool, a super nice gardener who offers you good vegetables picked in front of you😉. I even made a compote with its apples. A very friendly and responsive couple that I recommend for a serene holiday.

Excellent stay at Chantal's, welcoming and helpful, I had a good time at her and her husband Maurice's, they are extraordinary. I recommend it!

Dear Tom, thank you for letting us celebrate our wedding in your accommodation and create unforgettable moments! Your attention to detail and your plants is very fascinating! Despite the rainy weather, jumping into the Rhine was a must! We enjoyed the last evening on the terrace with very nice, romantic lighting. Roland is a great host,who either came and took me frim the airport and brought me to his lovely home! Everything in Roland’s apartment was clean and tidy! Communication with him was so easy,he always responded to my massages so fast and polite! Beautiful fully equipped apartment with beautiful views of the vines! 20 minutes from Mulhouse, easy road access. Very responsive owners.
