Stylish appartment close to the city centre. Most important public transport to the train station, airport and Art Basel right next door. City centre 15 minutes walking distance. Very light appartment due to the huge windows. Located in a small street next to a park. Extremely comfortable and big bed (200x220cm). Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (hair dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel). Shared rooftop terrace with lounge furniture (no one but me ever uses it).

The studio is located directly at the Spalentor to the city center. The house is 5 minutes walking distance from the city center. Also in walking distance you can reach the stop of the airport bus and the direct bus to the train station SBB (3 stops). For car drivers we can provide a garage box 10 francs (night) The cozy, quiet and high quality guest studio (40m2) is located in the basement of a newly built apartment house.

It was a fantastic stay, the apartment is very central & well connected, but at the same time very relaxing and tranquil. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The coffee was great and I really enjoyed being able to sit and enjoy it in the morning on the terrace. Of course, Thomas was a very pleasant and respectful host. I’m only coming back to Basel if I can stay here!

Nelly is an amazing host: always friendly, responsive and helpful. The apartment is very well located with great connections to the city and airport. Charming little room in the heart of Basel

easy to get in and find. I would recommend. Good location near to river. You are on the ground floor looking onto the street so I found it best to keep the curtains and window shut for privacy. Bathroom looks new. Bed was comfortable. Only thing missing would have been a mini fridge as it was over 30degrees when I stayed but I expect usually not a problem. I had an issue leaving luggage in corridor by bikes on day of checkout as other guest had key to a middle door which I hadn't realised could be locked. Hopefully this can be changed for future or studio guests should leave luggage in front of this door. Hosts were prompt to respond and rang girl staying in the other room so she came back to unlock door and everything was fine.

Cute Old Town Studio

I immediately felt right at home in this beautiful apartment and highly recommend. It had everything I needed for my 5 night stay, complete with great herbs and spices which made cooking in the fully equipped kitchen very easy. The interior is very thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. The apartment is in a stunning part of older Basel where many people stop to take pictures of the quaint streets. The hosts communicated very well and even gave me a tour of the parliament building in the city. Once again, I can highly recommend.

It is a huge, comfortable room with plenty of space. Comfortable bed, work table, sofa, dining table and you still have plenty of room to move around. The huge and perfect bathroom, door to door with the bedroom. All together at the entrance of the house, which gives a lot of privacy, both to Thomas and to the tenants. I thought it was an ideal place to visit Basel. Very good location, very quiet, with lots of light... we spent a week there as if we were at home.

Delicious stay with Diana and her family, in this beautiful house surrounded by a shady garden which was nice to be able to enjoy after our urban explorations. Gourmet breakfast. Very well located house, within tram reach of Basel city center (the tram stop is 2 minutes away), but in the quiet of this residential area. The Beyerler Foundation is accessible on foot by a bucolic path. The Vitra campus is also close by, accessible on foot or by bike. In short, a beautiful and warm address! Thanks again to Diana! We'll be back.

This was a very nice Airbnb to stay in. It was decorated beautifully in a scandi style. Very calming and relaxing. We have stayed in a lot of airbnbs and it’s rare to find an owner that has thought of everything. She communicated well and was friendly. Check in and out was easy with key safe. Was nice to have space to sit outside. Again it’s rare to find such a quiet apartment which meant that we slept very well! Location felt more residential. It would have been nicer to have been located closer to the main centre but the trams were that quick and only over the road that we didn’t mind so much. Only a few minutes into the centre. A quick trip via an uber to the airport also.
