Waterfront holiday rentals in Basel

We felt so lucky to stay in Sidonia and Elie’s beautiful heritage apartment, in the heart of Basel, right on the Rhine, in one of Klein Basel’s most historic streets. Views were direct onto the Rhine, and delightful food and restaurant options were right outside our doorstep along the Rhine. Our hosts, Sidonia and Elie, were so lovely and helpful, greeting us in person, and were super responsive. They even organised a Basel Pass for us which made getting around so easy. We would love to stay here again next year!

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was just the perfect size for our family-cozy yet spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The garden was a real highlight: beautifully kept and very welcoming, a great space for both kids and adults to relax. Everything was spotless and clean, and the quiet surroundings made it ideal for our children’s bedtime. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the essential drinks that were provided to the baby crib offered for our little one. These details really made a difference and showed how much care went into hosting 🤗 Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay! Es gab alles in der Wohnung was wir brauchten. Es ist sehr nett ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Bianca war super und sie war sehr hilfreich.

Great location, very walkable and appreciated the basal card that Zoe provided i before our arrival . Also Appreciated having two keys to the apt. Zoe was very helpful, she FaceTimed and then stopped over to help instruct me on how to use the dryer. Beds were comfortable. This apt met our needs. Would stay here again.

Der Ort ist sehr günstig gelegen, besonders wenn Sie Ski fahren oder rodeln möchten. All das ist nur wenige Schritte von der Wohnung entfernt. Es gibt auch weitere Pisten in ein paar Kilometern Entfernung. Die Nähe zu Freiburg ist ebenfalls praktisch, und bei Wunsch kann man Colmar in nur einer Stunde erreichen. Außerdem bietet sich in nur zwei Kilometern ein herrlicher Ausblick – man kann die Schweiz in etwa 100 Kilometern Entfernung sehen. Die Höhenlage sorgt im Winter für Schneesicherheit und im Sommer für angenehm kühle Abende. Die Straße ist in der Nähe, aber es gibt nicht viel Verkehr, und sie liegt etwa 50 Meter entfernt, sodass es keinen Lärm gibt.

Well we had a fantastic stay at Tobias’ place. The apartment was clean, welcoming and ideally located. The connections to get everywhere you need in Basel - and further afield - can be found right outside the door and across the road. Basel has a great public transport network. The area is lovely and quiet. Not far from a number of stores on foot which is great for stocking up. Communication was fast and Tobias was a pleasure to deal with. We had no issues at all and if we ever visit Basel again we would 100% stay here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Prima voor een nachtje op doorreis. We hadden een kamer geboekt, maar het bed was niet helemaal naar wens. Tabea bood ons direct een andere beschikbare kamer aan, waar we erg blij mee waren! Superschoon en goede communicatie!

I had fantastic time staying at Tabea's house , a place that truly feels like home. From the moment you open the door, you could feel with how much love and attention it was put together. Tabea is an awesome host, sweet and responsive, everything was perfectly smooth and relaxed. I am surely coming back at first occasion!

Wir verbrachten wunderbare Osterferien im Altstadthäuschen von Simone in St.Ursanne. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich mit einem heimeligen Holzofeb und gepflegtem Garten. Es ist einfach mit Simone zu kommunizieren und alles war einladend und sauber.

Ich durfte eine Nacht in einem der Zimmer von Tabea verbringen. Das Zimmer und auch das gemeinsame Bad waren sehr sauber, hübsch und zweckdienlich eingerichtet. Die Checkin-Infos kamen zum richtigen Zeitpunkt und machten den Self-Checkin einfach. Das Zimmer befindet sich in der Nähe der Altstadt und ist von Bahnhof her einfach zu Fuss erreichbar. Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und habe keine negativen Kritikpunkte.

Nous nous sommes régalés chez Jean-Claude. Un logement cosy, une piscine au top, un jardinier super sympa qui vous offre de bons légumes cueillis sous vos yeux 😉. J'ai même fait une compote avec ses pommes. Un couple très sympathique et réactif que je vous recommande pour passer des vacances sereines.

Séjour Excellent chez Chantal, accueillante et serviable, j’ai passé un bon moment chez elle et son mari Maurice, ils sont extraordinaires. Je recommande!

Trotz regnerischen Wetters war der Sprung in den Rhein ein Muss! Wir genossen den letzten Abend auf der Terrasse mit sehr schöner, romantischer Beleuchtung. Die Kommunikation mit dir war super leicht und du bist ein sehr herzlicher Mensch! Vielen Dank, dass wir in deiner Unterkunft feiern und sein konnten! Sehr großzügige und ansprechend eingerichtete Wohnung. Alles Vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Die Filterkaffeemaschine ist eine Senseo, also Pad Maschine !

Merci à Mustafa de nous avoir proposé ce bien très qualitatif et très agréable. Tout est très bien rangé, propre et fonctionnel. Mustafa est très réactif et également présent pour la moindre question. Je recommande donc cet appartement sans aucun problème !

Sanja war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, das Zimmer war perfekt und sehr gemütlich. Man konnte die Baseler Altstadt gut fußläufig erreichen und für alles weitere den Bus oder die Straßenbahn direkt vor der Haustür nehmen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt bei euch!

Roland is a great host,who either came and took me frim the airport and brought me to his lovely home! Everything in Roland’s apartment was clean and tidy! Communication with him was so easy,he always responded to my massages so fast and polite! Also the location of the apartment is so nice,with a lovely view of the Rhein river!Next to a shopping center and public transport tram stop! I heighly recommend Roland’s place❤️

Bel appartement tout équipé avec belle vue sur les vignes ! A 20 minutes de Mulhouse, accès par une route facile. Propriétaires très réactifs.
