Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Basel

We had a lovely week in Frank and Inka’s beautiful home in Huningue. The space was light and airy, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is great: 7-8 minute walk to a French supermarket, 5 minutes to the village centre, 7-8 minutes to the trams in Germany and from there an easy ride into Basel. Frank made us feel very welcome and was flexible on the check in time which was appreciated after a long flight. He welcomed us with a fridge stocked with local drinks, answered questions before and during our stay, and gave us a lovely gift on departure. Highly recommend!

Agréable séjour dans ce spacieux studio duplex tout équipé situé dans un agréable quartier résidentiel, près du Rhin. Le vaste espace à disposition et le calme étaient particulièrement apprécié avec les enfants. Merci à Leonore et Bea l’accueil et la réactivité!

The appartment of Kelly and Bernd was just as the pictures. It was very clean and silent. Both of the owners were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that the shower wasn’t pumping the waters but it was on. I would definitely recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Modern kitchen and spacious living area with a great jacuzzi/pool and outdoor seating area. Location was nice and quiet but close enough for day trips to Stasbourg, Freiburg, Colmar and Switzerland. Nice walking and cycling trails that start from the bottom of the garden. Would definitely stay here again.

Für meinen kurzen Aufenthalt die perfekte Unterkunft. Jedes Detail ist wie beschrieben. Nicole ist ein wahrer Superhost: jederzeit erreichbar, zuvorkommend, pragmatisch. I will be back!

Top Lage mit schöner Aussicht, ruhiges Quartier, Spielplatz und Wald ganz in der Nähe, kurzer Fussmarsch zur Tramlinie direkt in die Innenstadt von Basel. Da vorher/nachher keine Vermietung war, hätten wir ganz flexibel schon am Vorabend anreisen resp. nach 11:00 Uhr auschecken können. Küche und Zimmer einfach ausgestattet, aber absolut praktikabel und für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Respektive haben wir fehlende Kochutensilien nach vorgängiger Rücksprache mit Daniel selber mitgebracht. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Das Haus is genial, gute Raumaufteilung, schön und sehr komplett eingerichtet. Das ganze ruhig gelegen mit sehr viel charm. wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Gérald’s place is modern, clean, and comfortable. The location is quiet and peaceful. It is 15 minutes to Basel, Switzerland and 45 minutes to Colmar, France (lovely place, highly recommended). Overall, we had a great stay.

We booked Anne-Sophies place at the very last minute and found her responses to be super helpful and friendly. This uncluttered yet comfortable 3rd floor apartment, with a lift, is spotlessly clean and very spacious, with comfy beds (although bring eye masks if morning light is an issue) and a decent shower over the bath. It is very convenient for nearby trams to the station or old town, just a few stops away and Anne-Sophie generously organised the Baselcard for our arrival which made travel by tram or bus easy and free. There are supermarkets on the doorstep, as well as restaurants. We didn't try these but really enjoyed the local feel of the two cafes in town as recommended. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you, Anne-Sophie, for being a wonderful host.

We had a lovely stay here. Nothing to complain about. Everything was as described and even better. Luca was very helpful and responsive. He let us check in early and also leave our bags in the lobby area after checking out which was super helpful as it was a very hot weekend and bags were heavy. Everything was clean and well stocked. We loved all the little extras that were there to use. Navigating our way around from the apartment to anywhere we wanted to visit was very easy on public transport. Transport was free with the Baselcard and half price to many attractions which was amazing. A great experience, thank you. I would stay there again.

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage. Wir haben Freunde in Basel besucht und dafür war es super! Basel ist schnell und unkompliziert mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ein Bäcker befinden sich direkt um die Ecke. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Die Unterkunft/Wohnung ist super, wir haben einmal gekocht und zweimal gefrühstückt. Die Küche hat Salz/Öl etc und im Bad hat es Fön, Defuser, Lockenstab, Feuchte Tücher, Wattedtäbchen, Duschgel etc. Sehr cool! Es hat sogar Regenschirme, falls man selbst keinen hat. Ich habe immer schnell Antwort erhalten.

Wir haben uns sehr hier wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war super - bahnhofsnah und trotzdem nicht so weit in die Innenstadt zu Fuß. Wir fanden die Wohnung sehr stylisch eingerichtet und dennoch nicht überladen. Sie war super sauber. Die Küche war mehr als nur gut ausgestattet! Michael selbst war gut erreichbar und hat uns alle unsere Fragen beantwortet. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Schöne, saubere Wohnung in einem ruhigen und kinderfreundlichen Quartier. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, guter Beck und Tram in drei Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Toller Spielplatz und Badestrand auch ums Eck. Am besten gefiel uns der kleine Balkon mit Blick auf den Rhein, jeden Abend Sonnenuntergang genossen. Auch von den Fenstern kann man das Treiben auf dem Fluss schön beobachten. Wer nicht gut zu Fuss ist, erreicht den vierten Stock wohl eher mühevoll, dies aber der einzige Negativpunkt. Aber wer oben ist, wird belohnt :)

Wir hatten ein wunderbares Wochenende in Basel. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, geräumig und gut gelegen direkt neben der Markthalle. Mirjeta war eine freundliche Gastgeberin. Gerne wieder, vielen lieben Dank!

Marie Odile und ihr Mann waren super freundliche Gastgeber. Telefonisch waren sie jeder Zeit erreichbar und man wurde durch sie persönlich empfangen. Auf Grund eines Unfalls hatte sich meine Reise auf ca. 21.30 verschoben, worauf beide mit viel Verständnis und Entgegenkommen reagiert haben. Das Appartement selbst ist sehr hochwertig und gut ausgestattet und gibt einem auch im Urlaub ein heimisches Gefühl. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

A szálláshely rendezett volt és tiszta. Mindennel felszerelt,ami pár nap tartózkodáshoz kell. Tömeg közlekedéssel könnyű megközelíteni. Ajánlani tudom.

Inge is a great host. She made sure we knew how to get to her apartment and printed Baselcard transit passes for us. The first floor apartment is located in a quiet and lovely neighborhood and has good WiFi, all amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and access to a pleasant back yard. Inge even provided milk, bread, eggs and fruit for our stay. We would be happy to stay here again on future trips.

Great, modern little place. Spacious and well equip! Hot water wasn't working and the host came over to help us with the boiler!

Dit was de eerste keer, dat een appartement helemaal overeen kwam met de foto’s! Alle ruimtes hebben we kunnen gebruiken, wat in andere Airbnbs meestal niet het geval is. De host reageerde erg snel. De locatie is subliem, met diverse tram- en buslijnen om de hoek. Een royale supermarkt, een leuk park met paviljoen, een dierentuin, het stadscentrum: alles op slechts een paar honderd meter afstand.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben und wirklich sehr sauber. Goran hat uns vorab alles gut erklärt ( Wegbeschreibung, Check-in) und schnell geantwortet, wirklich sehr gut.

Had a great stay here; very well located and with excellent Wi-Fi. The apartment was exactly as described, and Rosemarie was a great host very attentive and answering any concerns very fast.
