Jiayuan is a warm and responsive host, and his home is clean and comfortable. It’s convenient both to Acadia National Park and to Bar Harbor.

I and my wife had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described—clean and very comfortable. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, providing clear instructions and helpful local tips. The location was perfect, close to everything. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Loved my visit to southwest harbor and Acadia NP. The Airbnb was in a good location, about 30 mins to the park and bar harbor. The town is a little quiet and closes early but we did not mind. Would definitely come back.

Very nice place for our vacation. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice and quiet house, a bit outdated furniture but nonetheless everything was very clean. Perfect location with ocean view and very close to the park and the port! Definitely will look to stay at the same place when we visit Acadia Park next time.

Our stay at Derek's was awesome! Exactly as advertised, very cozy and great location to access the park.

Excellent location - close enough to downtown Bar Harbor without the crowds. Place was neat, well equipped and enjoyable. Will definitely do it again!

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay in Acadia! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy home near Acadia National Park. The place was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had all the amenities. The home comes with a fully functioning kitchen with appliances such as cooking range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, etc. The bedrooms are spacious with clean bathrooms, extra linens and pillows. The home is part of a nice airbnb community with a backyard firepit to meet & share with other travelers, after a fun day at Acadia. It is located right on the border (20 minutes drive) of Acadia National park, with easy access to restaurants and Walmart. Derek was extremely responsive and clear with his communication & instructions. Highly recommend this place and cannot wait to be back!

We had a great time at Derek’s place! The instructions to get to the house was so clear and we had a few hiccups with the technology in the house but Derek was super responsive and helped us sort it out. The highlight for us was the cozy fireplace and the snowy Christmas snow globe deck. The house is an easy 15-20 minute drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor and it would take you through the scenic Ocean Path Drive. The house is definitely super worth it for the price. Thanks again for having us!

Great home and location! Wonderful yard and grounds as well. Totally supplied with everything you could need. The wood burning stove is great in the evening, with plenty of wood as well. Great modern kitchen too. Paul is exceptionally responsive to any request. Everything is just as it looks in the photos too. One of our best rentals!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ingrid's place. It was our first time to Acadia. Southwest harbor is definitely the more desirable area to stay. there are so many different trail heads just minutes away. It's also not far from the park trail loop and all of the busier areas on the other side of Acadia. The townhouse was well equipped with everything we needed to cook most of our meals right there. There were plenty of pillows as well. We were at first nervous about the no air conditioning but with the windows open it stayed nice and cool with the nice evening Acadia temps!

We spent a peaceful, relaxing week with our twenty something daughter in this condo. The condo was well-maintained, very clean and was spacious enough for the three of us to spread out while spending quality time together. We all enjoyed the beautiful views of the harbor, especially at sunrise and sunset, and took advantage of the close proximity to Rockland and all of the wonderful restaurants, shopping and activities in the surrounding area.

This was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. The place was clean, roomy, and looked as advertised. The beds were comfortable, the fridge was stocked with a few drinks and snacks and we had plenty of towels. This reminds me of how most of the listings on Airbnb USED to be (meaning the hosts didn't nickel and dime you for everything, actually went out of their way to make you feel welcome and provided basic amenities. I absolutely recommend this to others and if I return to Bar Harbor, I will see if this place is available again.

Ann and Bill are incredible hosts — their home is very warm and tidy, and they do a phenomenal job communicating throughout the check-in and check-out process. Their warm hospitality made our honeymoon weekend all the more sweet! Their little added details of fresh cut flowers and local snacks left in the kitchen were so thoughtful as well. Would highly recommend their place! 5/5 stars for sure!

We had a wonderful stay! Our room was clean, bright, and airy with very comfortable bed and pillows exactly what we needed after long days of exploring. Fresh towels and all the essentials were available. The location was perfect just 10 minutes from Acadia National Park, which made it super convenient for our hiking-filled days. We were mostly out and about, but it was the ideal place to come back to, relax, and rest. Great price, easy check-in, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

The house was fabulous. Great location, walkable to everything. Sleeping rooms were perfect. All in all….highly recommend and would stay again!

Located between downtown Bar Harbor and Ellsworth, the location was perfect. Very quiet and lovely accommodation with parking for 2 cars. The 2 bed, 2.5 bath was very clean and was decorated for the holidays, which was a lovely surprise. Jack was very responsive and great to work with.

Michael is wonderful host, prompt response… and gave very useful local suggestions/recommendations.
