Holiday rentals with a patio in Bar Harbor

This was a really nice place convenient to the things we were planning to do. We really enjoyed our stay and it was so quiet and comfortable.

The experience left nothing to be desired as we were looking for a remote spot and a place comfortable and spacious enough to stay inside during bad weather and Jeff’s place checked the boxes. We were the only ones in the 2 unit home. The view is very pretty and the wildlife is plentiful. The access to the water is down a dirt embankment which leads to mud flats at low tide. Beware of the tides if you can get the kayaks down there.

Clean, inviting space. Good to stay for visits to Acadia with a car.

We enjoyed our stay - great, walkable location close to downtown Bar Harbor. I reached out to Dani when I discovered there was no blow dryer, and one was dropped off within an hour. I would stay here again.

Timothy’s place was an absolutely beautiful and peaceful place to stay! My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, it was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and had such a welcoming feel. The attention to detail was clear in every room, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The space was quiet, stylish, and well-equipped, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. If this were available for rent long-term, we’d move in without hesitation! Timothy was also a fantastic host, responsive, kind, and made everything super easy from start to finish. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and comfortable retreat. Can’t wait to come back someday!

My partner and I stayed here on our trip to Acadia and I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! Beautiful interior and stellar view of the water behind the property. Wonderful bathroom (with an overhead heater!!), comfortable bed, and everything we could ask for in a kitchen. Like other reviews, the stay is right off the road so you can hear some cars, but I thought the place had very adequate sound proofing. 10/10 would come back

James’ place was absolutely amazing! The views of the lake are stunning and he graciously accepts dogs in his home. We had access to the canoe and kayaks and fire pit, which could easily be enough for a stay in the house. The house was clean and in a private area. I would recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. If I were to stay here again, the only thing I would do is probably bring my own pans to cook with.

A great place to stay in such a great area. Feels so in the middle of nowhere but in a good way. The stars are beautiful at night, the house was gorgeous, and they have plenty of games to play since there is no TV. But we didn’t miss the TV at all! Whoever sleeps upstairs will be forced to wake up with the sun because of the lack of curtains but also not a bad problem to have :) And the bathroom floors are heated, which is such a nice amenity!

This Airbnb was absolutely lovely. The home is beautifully styled and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. You can really feel how much effort the host has put into creating a warm, inviting, and comfortable space. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and inspiring retreat. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Lynn's place was great for checking out Acadia, Bar Harbor other surrounding harbors. It had everything we needed and having water bottles, camp chairs and blankets was a bonus. Kim P

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Salt in the Pines! It was the first visit to Maine for some of our family members from the Philippines, and we all absolutely fell in love with the place. The home is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated with incredible attention to detail. We especially enjoyed bringing takeout from the Travelin Lobster and savoring our seafood feast in the cozy alcove dining area. We would love to return!

My wife and two daughters had a wonderful stay! The kids really loved the books, movies and games and they loved sleeping upstairs in the loft space. It’s also super convenient to bar harbor, Cadillac and other parts of the island given it’s so centrally located. We’d love to come back!

This house was amazing—hosts really have thought of everything when it comes to guest experience! Kayaking out to the tiny islands in the bay a couple times allowed us to see horseshoe crabs and bald eagles up close. The fire pit was great and the “s’mores station” with supplies in the kitchen upon arrival was so cute and thoughtful. Our three kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Our boys especially loved the lower level game room with ping-pong, arcade games, and pop-a-shot. The kids also loved reading on the sofa in the upstairs loft overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked dinner there a couple times during the week. The hosts gave great local recommendations as well—the craft beer at Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth (less than 15-min. drive) is excellent, and it is very kid-friendly with a large outdoor eating area and wood-fired pizza. We’d love to return to this house! Mosquitoes are fierce so bring bug repellent.

Great home in a great location. Very spacious and clean and Corey was very responsive. We had 0 problems with there being a restaurant down stairs. Beautiful views of the bay and a near by field where we watched little kittens playing with each other! It was adorable. We slept great and felt right at home!

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

Great location and clean. As noted in the description, the walls are thin, but we had no issues. The internet connection is spotty, in case you are planning to do some remote work, but we weren't, and had a great time.

Beds and furniture were comfortable, it was clean and basic amenities were all stocked well! Great location for walking into downtown Bar Harbor, but also great location for driving into Acadia National Park without having to go through downtown!

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

Patrick's place was exactly as described. We'll appointed. It was in a private and serene location. Views of the ocean from the deck and windows facing the ocean were spectacular! Patrick was extremely responsive from booking through departure. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone not wanting the hustle and bustle of the Bar Harbor area. Utterly enjoyed our stay💖✨️

This place was perfect for our family adventures! The kids enjoyed the games, ping pong, and pool at the office- when we weren’t out exploring. Randy was great, and made sure we were taken care of!

Totally enjoyed the stay at this duplex. I look forward to coming again!
