house was absolutely gorgeous...Eddie made us feel and our wee dog so welcome...the welcome pack of home made scones,short bread and other things was lovely.Loved meeting our neighbours ie da cows.would definitely recommend staying here x

This place a gem. The house is cosy and clean and full of character and the surroundings are beautiful. Super close to Castlewellan and Newcastle but remote enough to enjoy the peace of the countryside. Lynda was a great host and we would definitely recommend it for a family getaway. We will be back!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Maura’s place! It was the perfect location to unwind and relax in the gorgeous countryside. It is 10 mins away from the cafes/restaurants in Castlewellan and the forest park where we spent the weekend going for walks and cycling. We loved everything about it and we can’t wait to return. Maura and her husband were so friendly and welcoming and of course their beautiful dog Buddy!! 10/10 recommend. x

We absolutely loved our stay at Fairyhill cottage. The cottage itself and the sauna were better than we even expected, and located in the perfect setting. Jenny was always super prompt and helpful when we had questions too. Well worth staying here!
