Monthly Rentals in Au Sable River

The chalet is beautiful, even in the winter. We were able to kayak the river and fish, even in the snow. This is now my son's favorite stay on Airbnb, and now I wish I had a chalet home, nice design and very spacious. The interior is decorated very nice and has every convenience and impeccably clean. You won't regret your stay, excellent value, and we hope to return. The host, Darlene, was in touch with us a week ahead of time with concern about the possible road conditions which turned out to be good. There was two feet of snow on the ground, (very pretty time of year by the way), Darlene had the parking and walkways shoveled free of snow, and she also made sure our check in and stay went smooth. My husband rented this cabin for the month of May, to indulge his fly-fishing love. We live just 3 hours from site, so me driving to visit or hang for a week, was easy. I loved meeting our hosts and we enjoyed interesting conversation with them. May we meet again in the future! This is a beautiful, well-appointed cabin/apartment in a secluded location on the Au Sable River. Our hosts were friendly, warm and easy-going. They were a joy to be around when we would run into each other. Weather was iffy for the month: a lot of rain, cold and wind. Time would be spent tying flies or reading. The view from the balcony is the Au Sable River. This cabin offers a restful visit. If there is any inconvenience, it would be the 15 minute drive on a dirt road to get to pavement. So going into town for food, etc., might take half an hour. As noted, there is a long flight of stairs to get into cabin. Bathroom is large with a washer/dryer inside. The Queen mattresses and quality bedding were so comfy!

This was a last second find for staying in the area for work. Beds were great and a comfortable space. If you want to get away from busy cities, this is the place!

The cabin was everything the add said and more. We were up for a off road weekend with nearby friends. The cabin couldn't have been more convenient for our needs. We didn't spend much time at the property other than for sleep and showers. We did cook a meal and everything was in the kitchen we could have ever needed. Checking in and out was simple and the host was very responsive.
