Great people, very helpful and responsive in a beautiful setting with a fantastic, large room. I arrived from Texas when a winter storm hit and I am not used to the cold. M was generous with the use of the heat and very accommodating but stepping out to get to the kitchen was chilly. Still it was a great stay in a beautiful setting with an accommodating host.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was perfect for our stay. We brought our 2 dogs and the cabin and surrounding area provided much ample space for our 2 labradoodles. We went to the national park which was about a 25 minute drive. The cabin was comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. The cabin is on a property with another house so if you want absolute seclusion that is something to think about. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area!

This location was beautiful. Since I had a wedding at the vineyard I thought it was best to book it here. It was the best decision I ever made! It made the getting ready process so easy as a bride since I was literally no to far from the bridal suite. My bridesmaids and vendors couldn’t stop complimenting on how breathtaking the property looked. I would recommend this property for any special occasion to celebrate with a significant other. I give this place a 10/10.

I've been in AirBnBs around the WORLD and few can compare to the simple luxury of Preston's place. An ideal retreat for anyone who knows the "real" Virginia lies far outside of the Beltway, it has everything you need & nothing you don't, and reminded both my wife and me of where we grew up. For us there was no better place to reconnect to those memories, in one of the best rural settings someone could ask for. We didn't experience too much around us in terms of businesses, but if you make this trip you'll have plenty to do with reading, relaxing, taking on a hike through some incredible terrain, or enjoying a complimentary bottle of wine from a local vineyard next to their fire pit.
