Svetlana’s cottage was wonderful for our four night stay. She and her son and daughter were very gracious and helpful. The location directly on the Baltic is amazing. The beautiful, sandy beach is less than 50 yards from the front door. It is a very quiet location, but there are shops and a fine restaurant within a few minutes drive. It is also close to Kemeri National Park. The cottage may not be a good option for those with mobility issues as the bedroom is up some narrow stairs from the bathroom.

Myself and my four kids were staying over at Aleksejs for two weeks. extremely friendly hosts went above and beyond to make us feel like home. house is spacious and was very clean ,comfortable beds so we had a very good night's sleep.Overall reccomend to stay there you'll feel like visiting family not a stranger staying in their house,very good value for the money.

We stayed as a family of five for six nights, and it was truly a special experience. The location is absolutely stunning — peaceful, beautiful, and full of charm. Although the weather wasn’t always kind, the warmth of the fireplace, the comfort of the sauna, and evenings spent around the barbecue brought so much joy and togetherness to our stay. What truly made it unforgettable were the hosts — kind, generous, and so welcoming. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. A heartfelt thank you also goes to their lovely, tail-wagging companion, who greeted us every day with pure joy and made us smile endlessly. We created wonderful memories here — laughter, late-night chats, and simple moments that we’ll treasure for a long time. Thank you for everything. We loved it and will absolutely be back.

Good deal for the price and close to the train - ideal for short stay.
