Monthly Rentals in Almond

This was our second time staying at Blue Haven. The cabin provides everything our family needs to have a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing time in the North Carolina mountains.

I had the pleasure of staying at this cozy Airbnb for a weekend getaway with some old friends, and it was the perfect spot to catch up and unwind. While we weren’t focused on exploring the area, this house made us feel so comfortable that it felt like our own home away from home. Twyla, the host, was amazing—so responsive and kind, offering early check-in and late check-out. She also provided a thorough house guide with helpful instructions on everything we needed to know. As for the location, the house was a bit tricky to find initially, especially given the mountain roads, but Twyla’s step-by-step instructions (with images!) made it much easier. While the house isn't right on the lake, it’s just a short walk away, and the stroll was actually quite pleasant. We enjoyed the peacefulness of it and didn’t mind the few minutes it took to get there. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and a great place to unwind with friends. Highly recommend

We loved our place! Such a beautiful location and the host was super responsive. The outdoor area was our favorite part.

It was hard to go up there, because the road washed out due to flood. But there is a nice family who lives there, the guy helped us at 1am in the morning, he took us all in his truck so we don’t need to hike up there. Overall place was beautiful with a view and everything. But I would suggest the host to make a road till the cabin.
