Monthly Rentals in Älmestad

Remote old wooden cottage, where we felt so comfortable that we stayed one night longer than planned. Our dog felt very comfortable in the garden and the surrounding fields. No neighbors. The house is very old, everything is very low, but otherwise tiptop. The only drawback was actually the mattresses - very soft and very thin. We had our camper with us, including mattresses, so we used them. The surroundings are actually quite beautiful, but the forest is also more of a forest, so some areas were cut down over a large area, which was a bit sad to look at. You can't hike for a long time on small footpaths from the house - but that didn't bother us for the few days. The contact with Karin was great - both check in and check out were contactless and easy.

We had a wonderful time in the cozy cottage with lake view, perfect for a relaxing break. The facility is modern, very cozy and lovingly thought out. Everything was clean and high quality. A baby bed and high chair were ready. There was a nice surprise in the fridge as a welcome and Amanda brought fresh eggs from her chickens. Outside, a great seating area with a barbecue invites you to linger, with a view of the lake, grazing cows and sheep. We have taken a special liking to the sheep and will miss them very much! In the surrounding area, you can go for a wonderful walk, collect wild herbs or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. A small bathing area is just a few steps away. Another highlight was the beautiful wooden sauna right on the lake about 5 minutes' walk away, which we were allowed to use at any time. Amanda and Michael are incredibly warm and helpful hosts. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back! 🤍

We rented this house for 6 weeks. What a wonderful vacation spot. Linus was a fine landlord. Everything you need is there.

Gunilla and Yngve are very nice and friendly, yet I had all the privacy I wanted. The apartment is so much prettier than in the pictures, it's super clean and very comfortable. I stayed here by myself for a month and I loved it. Månstad is a stunning and serene area in the countryside, forests all around, lakes at about 5km from the house, so there's plenty of hiking opportunities in all directions. It was such a treat to be able to go for a couple of hours hike every day before work! The nearest grocery store is in Limmared, by foot it's more or less 7km each way. In Limmared there's also Glasets Hus, a restaurant and glass art exhibition well worth visiting. I didn't have a car so I walked to the village twice a week for supplies and I recommend that walk to anyone who loves being in nature and enjoys a good hike. The WiFi was excellent for remote work and everything works well in the apartment. I absolutely recommend! Thank you Gunilla and Yngve!! 🙏❤️😍😍😍
