Lovely accommodation, had literally everything you could need! Very clean, great location, spacious and relaxing. Able to use your own paddle boards on the lake. Best equipped accommodation we have ever stayed in. Mark is such a helpful and informative host. Couldn’t fault our stay

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful lodge. The view from the living room was absolutely stunning, we couldn’t get enough of it. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. It felt peaceful and private, just what we needed. Thank you for such a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Very clean and well appointed lodge, which was ideal for the needs of 4 separate guests. Hot Tub and Pool table were an added bonus! Recommended.

If you want a peaceful, undisturbed night in the countryside in a very well kept and cosy cabin with everything you need, without anyone around you to spoil your peace, AND with a hot tub! ...then this place will fit the bill. The Burrow is an absolute gem, set away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns & cities. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. We woke up to the birds singing their dawn chorus, and even heard a few owls after sunset. We must have arrived during frog spawning season, as there were hundreds of baby frogs making their way across the gravel track in front of the pod. That in itself was an incredible sight. It has everything you could possibly need (including tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc, cooking herbs and spices and a little bag in the bathroom incase you’ve forgotten an essential item). The hot tub was incredible! We needed more fuel for the burner and a hand getting the fire to stay stable - in less than 15mins Kate had it all sorted, and we had a lovely hot bath, that was still hot when we checked it before bed, approx 4hrs after it had got up to temperature! Everything was spotless, the decor was stunning and Kate has thought of every little detail. Perfect in every way. Thank you.

What a brilliant weekend , the place is fantastic, its extremely secluded which is perfect for a romantic getaway. The hosts are very nice ,informative and leave you to a private stay. We did have phone reception and internet on 3 mobile. The hot tub was perfect . We will be definitely be going back . One of the best finds on air bandb.

It was set in such beautiful surroundings! So quiet and peaceful and the home had literally everything you could have needed! It was the best equipped AirB&B I have ever stayed in! Audrey offered flexible check in which was great and really good communication! 100% worth every penny and would recommend anyone and everyone to go!

This lodge was beautiful with amazing views over Lake Windermere from both the deck and the living room. The weather was a mix, but honestly, it was stunning whether it was raining or sunny, though the sunshine definitely made it even more magical. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything we needed, making it feel super cozy and like a home away from home. White Cross Bay Holiday Park was a great spot, really peaceful and in a perfect location for exploring, whether on foot or by car. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

Lovely and comfortable stay! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for a cute girls trip in Lake District. The cabin comes equipped with Netflix and it’s so close to Windermere centre.

If you are looking for a place for rejuvenation and away from hustle and bustle of life, then book this place without a second thought.. this property completely exceeded our expectations from start to finish..!! Where do I even start.. place is spacious, surrounded by beautiful views.. hosts are very friendly.. we had come to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and they had set up a nice decoration for her.. so thoughtful of them.. we absolutely loved every minute of the stay there.. wish could stay longer.. little one had the best birthday experience watching so many animals around.. really looking forward to come back.. just s little advice would be to carry groceries and other stuff if possible as the nearest superstore is nearly 4 miles away and that too isn’t very well stocked.. you do get basic stuff though.. this was the only issue we faced..

Really enjoyed our stay, we were celebrating my Mother’s 90th birthday and had other family members staying in other lodges around the park. Beautiful scenery and great location. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Absolutely amazing stay here, just what we needed to get away from city life, scenery was beautiful, hot tub was amazing, very clean, we just loved every second of it, we didn't want to come home! Thank you Catherine for having the prosecco and banners up for us on arrival , it was a lovely suprise for my partners birthday. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 5 day stay! The caravan was perfect for our family of four (plus our dog) — cozy, spacious, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. What really stood out was the incredible attention to detail, especially for our pup — treats, a towel, and even a blanket were waiting for her. It was so heartwarming and showed how much care went into everything. Our host was amazing — Sam sent us great recommendations in advance for places to eat and things to do, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The fresh flowers and duck food left for us were such a lovely surprise — it truly felt like a personal and welcoming experience. We’re so grateful and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, pet-friendly getaway!

The cabin itself is lovely, just enough space for 2 people. short walk to the lake if you want to do a bit of bird spotting. very close to the M6 so are able to put into the Dale's or Lake District. cabin was clean and tidy, fresh towels left in the bedroom. plenty of equipment in the kitchen. we stayed for 2 nights just to finish our holiday off and we felt safe and welcome. My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend to explore the lakes. It was a great base for the places we wanted to see. There is only one pub in walking distance which was nice but the nearest town is a 15min drive away. This suited us fine but may not suit others. The caravan was very clean and had everything you’d need! The hot tub was a lovely treat after long walks each day. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family.

Amazing place to stay, we took 3 of our dogs and our son. Hot tub, amazing children’s play area, trampoline, swings, seesaw, 20+ go carts with track, play obstacle course, climbing frame, slide, basketball hoops and football nets. The pictures on the advert are outdated and don’t show the go cart track. A brilliant field specifically for walking the dogs, not fully secure due to gaps under the gate but great for dogs who will ignore sheep. Lovely pod with everything we could have needed, hot tub lovely and warm, amazing views. Picnic bench and parking space. Lots of towels available, comfy bed and pillows. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco, eggs and biscuits. Very happy with our stay! We went to The bridge end inn for tea, 2 nights in a row!! The food was absolutely fantastic, well priced but quality fresh cooked food. Booking is a must as they were very busy.

Such a beautiful location and place to stay. David couldn’t have been more helpful and was always happy to light the fire for the hot tub so it was ready for us getting back. Would highly recommend as a place to be able to switch off completely. Couldn’t fault it as all.

We had a fabulous stay at the lodge. It was as described, super clean and beaitifully decorated. The hot tub was the highlight, as well as being able to watch the cows and sheep go about their day in the field behind. The lodge is in a wonderful location to explore different towns along the south of Scotland. The nearby farm shop is one to try for some yummy delights. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing stay made all the better by the lodge. We would love to stay again and hope we get the chance to again! Highly recommend.

What a relaxing, beautifully appointed and tastefully accessorised lodge. We had everything that we possibly could need and the lodge was clean throughout. Additional garden was a bonus had the weather been better. We will definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks Alma.

What an amazing place to spend a lovely few days to celebrate a special birthday! Charlotte is a fabulous host and was more than happy to answer any questions we had.  We were provided with clear directions to guide us right to the lodge, and there was lots of very helpful information about the lodge, the surrounding area and attractions. On our arrival the lodge was immaculately presented and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The lodge was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 7 adults and our Border Collie. It felt welcoming and homely, and Charlotte had put a lot of care and attention into preparing the lodge ready for our stay. My family and I were blown away by the  stunning views of the lake, and the hot tub was a bonus. We even had a visit from a family of swans who were keen to show off their beautiful baby cygnet. Thank you for letting us have the pleasure in staying at your fabulous Lodge. We will certainly be back, hopefully soon!

This was a beautiful lodge tucked away off the beaten track and the lodge was really beautiful with all of the facilities we loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. My stand out feature was the walk into Keswick on an evening along the mineral track, which I was happy we brought torches as it was pitch black. A truly fantastic break from home thank you Emma.

Gorgeous little home from home - brilliantly equipped with everything you need and really beautifully decorated. Matt and Melissa have done a lovely job. The park is really accessible for all the local attractions and is on a bus route if you want to leave the car. The park facilities are fun too and our son really enjoyed the pool (book your slots when you arrive). We had a great trip and loved the lodge - thank you so much

Janice was the best host. She was so kind and helpful, always responsive. Janice went above and beyond for us and was great. The pod was incredible with the hot tub being a highlight for us, it was 10/10 and kept extremely clean.
