Monthly Rentals in Agaete

It's a solid apartment & Guanak did a good job of being a host, I do think the kitchen was a bit bare-bones, no salt, no microwave? There was a problem with their regular cleaner that may be the reason, & Guanak compensated graciously with a dinner at their family restaurant, 2 homemade ginger beers, 6-pack of their eggs, which I really appreciated. Bare minimum essentials for a month: 4 toilet rolls, 2 laundry pods, & 2 trash bags. Overall I'm happy with the stay, I'd have preferred less noise from the soccer field & a quieter refrigerator but I'd book it again.

Fantastic, stylish house which is very open air, great for the warm weather. pool was large enough for a few people to cool down. lots of areas for entertaining and lounging outside with great views of the town and sea. local cafes and restaurants all just a minute walk away. Tip. we parked outside the steps to unload bags then drove to the carpark. (3 mins walk)

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, we wanted to get away from the ‘touristy’ hustle of the southern part of the island, and we stumbled across Richard and Hubert’s traditional Gran Canarian home in Agaete, it was exactly what we needed and exactly as described. The private roof terrace is the perfect sun trap for evenings in the hot tub or sat around the table at the end of a long day of exploring. The way the place is open to the elements is great, minimalistic yet we didn’t want for anything. Great location close to bars and restaurants in the town square, and a short walk to the port where we spent most of our time swimming in the crystal blue water. Heaven! Would definitely recommend staying here, no brainer!

We were very nicely welcomed by our landlord Antonio and received very good tips! We stayed in this apartment for two weeks and immediately felt very comfortable. It was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. In the bathroom there was also a special towel for the hair (I will buy myself now) and a magnifying mirror. The large terrace and then a balcony with fantastic views of the mountains are unbeatable. Very nicely located and quiet. You can easily walk to the upper village of Agaete and also down to the harbor, best to walk in El Turman to the end, then down to the sea swimming pool and along the sea to the harbor, fantastically beautiful. This apartment is highly recommended and we would book again at any time! The only small point of criticism, the bed is very small, so if you are a little more handsome, it could get a little cuddly for two.
