Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Zaanstad

Great spot to stay in for what we needed! Staying for a couple of nights before heading off fishing about 90 mins away. Easy to access Amsterdam, 3 stops on the train and 5 min walk to station. Chi’s place was great. Boss games room and loads of space to chill and relax. Will definitely be back 👍🏻

My friend and I choose to stay here, since it was close to Zaanse-Schaans and Amsterdam Noord. And I must say: It’s the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever been to so far. I’d definitely recommend it to others, who’d like to wind out and relax after a very long day in the city and just wanna feel like home: this is the place. Marjolein has put so much love and detail to make this place super cozy. I really loved it. And the neighborhood feels super safe and there are some cafes close by with a nice view of the harbor. Definitely a must stay place, if you’re looking for a relaxing place. Thanks a lot Marjolein for letting us stay here.

Charmante maison à deux pas de la gare de Zaandam. Le quartier est très agréable, avec de nombreux commerces, le tout à 13 min de la gare d'Amsterdam Centraal. Thi a été très accueillante et réactive.

Logement assez petit. 14 voyageurs sont possibles mais c'est vraiment aller chercher jusqu'à la dernière place disponible. Serviette assez vieille ainsi papier toilettes en très petite quantité. Dommage de n'avoir qu'une seule double pour 14 personnes. Il faudrait l'indiquer dans l'annonce et réduire le nombre de personne possibles dans le logement. 2 places dans un abri de jardin qui n'était pas indiqué

Es war sehr schön im Apartment von Anne. Umgeben von Natur, Pferden, Hühnern und Katzen, sehr weiter Blick auf die grünen Wiesen, eigene Terasse. Am Morgen kann man den Sonnenaufgang bewundern. Das Apartment ist großzügig und ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Anne und ihr Mann sind sehr nett und offen und jederzeit ansprechbar bei Fragen. Es war toll und wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Ingrid. La maison est ravissante, confortable et très bien équipée. Après les journées intenses en ville, c’était un vrai plaisir de rentrer nous y reposer. Les paysages environnants et l’atmosphère sereine nous ont véritablement charmés. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit à tous les voyageurs en quête de tranquillité 😌

I had a wonderful stay! Elton was very friendly and welcoming, making the experience smooth from start to finish. The place itself was lovely—clean, cozy, and well-kept. It was also very quiet, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. The view was absolutely stunning and definitely a highlight. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed staying here while on our trip to see Amsterdam. The location is perfect for either going into Amsterdam or deciding to venture to other places nearby. The train is easy and very walkable. In fact the walk to the train takes you past several nice streets and shops. The space provided us with the feeling of being at home while also being in a new and quaint place. Highly recommend.

David was a great Host! We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was beautiful and well equipped and the communication with David was quick and easy. We can really recommend it!

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

The location of this Airbnb is excellent — situated in a quiet neighborhood that made for a peaceful stay. The studio is small but cozy, featuring a comfortable bed and a shower with great pressure and temperature. Since the apartment is in the basement, you could occasionally hear noises from the residence above, but it was never a major disturbance. One of the best parts is that it’s right next to a lovely park, making it super walkable. Plus, you can easily walk to many of Amsterdam’s main attractions from here, which is very convenient. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if I return to Amsterdam.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

Wle spent 4 nights in very clean, cozy apartment, in peaceful canal area. Away from all the noise and traffic but still very walkable. good restaurants nearby. Our host was very friendly and responsive. Great communication. Big bed very comfortable too. Would definitely recommend!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Henri our stay was very nice and the personal touch like ,fruit,beard,eggs etc in the fridge and the other personal touches in the flat made us very welcome,if we come to Amsterdam again i would definitely stay there,it was excellent.thankyou mel & henri for allowing us to share your home with us . Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. Tess’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Tess met us for check in to show us the beautiful accommodations. She provided local recommendations. What I appreciated the most was the extra touches she put into making the place feel special. There were live flowers in vases, a bottle of wine, waffles, and coffee ready for us. I found everything to be just perfect.
