My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

Place was great. Smelled fantastic. Exactly as advertised. Jessica is very accommodating. Would stay again if we are in the area.

My fiancée and I had a wonderful time. The place was very very clean and had everything we were looking for. Beautiful view of the lake and peaceful surroundings. A very easy drive to Acadia and surrounding areas. Host was very responsive and welcoming. This was my first Airbnb and it was a fantastic experience.

It’s everything you need. If you’re traveling with a dog this place is great. Easy to walk them, easy to get into town, really easy to get to Acadia. Jenn is wonderful. The apartment has what you need, and it’s where you expect it to be.

Creekside was a lovely place to stay. We would absolutely stay there again.

The location of Dani’s listing was perfect for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. It is a short walk to the grocery store and everything downtown. Very safe area. The first floor space was clean and as advertised. Excellent off-street parking was a big plus. We would stay here again!

If you are looking for a vacation that is quiet, relaxing and with stunning views then this is the place! Only 10 minutes from downtown bar harbor and quick easy access to Acadia. Honestly, my wife and I made less trips to Acadia because the views from the property were better! The hosts are fantastic and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

The barn is a really special place on a really amazing island. There are so many hidden gem areas on this island. It’s a true place to get away, explore and have some time in a secluded place, but still close to some amazing things. I was at the barn for 4 nights. Went to Acadia and bar harbor one day and hunkered down the other 2 as it was raining. The places to explore on the island are beautiful, even in the rain and allowed me to have some time away from reality. Highly recommend staying in the cranberry isles…especially at Judi/Chong’s place.

Had a wonderful stay. Colleen was extremely flexible and responsive. The place is secluded but still close enough to bar harbor and winter harbor. Will definitely be staying here in the again in the future.

This stay was excellent. the view is lovely and parking is literally at your front door. Wonderful interior design makes you feel more wealthy than you really are😄

Great location! Pristine spot steps away from Acadia. Bar harbor is a gem, really enjoyed my time in Diwas’s unit. He was personable, and made sure we had everything we needed. The unit is really nice! Updated electronics and furnishings. Great bathroom and bedroom. Had a great time, would not hesitate to book again.

Had a great time. The house was clean and orderly. We had easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, they were only 30-40 minutes away. We also enjoyed the very short walk to the water front to enjoy the views and the cool breeze off the water we even saw a lobster boat one evening! Definitely would recommend and stay here again!

This place is wonderful! The highlight is definitely the kayaking—we saw seals when we were out on the bay one day!!!—but the place was well stocked, convenient for hiking, cooking, and hanging out. Plus they have an adorable dog named yoda who you can pet if you’d like!

Very happy with this stay. Comfy place with a beautiful view, comfy bed, and good area to hang out at. They also included a pack in play for my infant son, and he was very happy to sleep in it. One word of caution, its street name is very similar to a nearby street so make sure you pay attention or you'll end up at the wrong house!

I've never had a better experience on Airbnb - Misha was an extraordinary host. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless! the location was perfect, right in the heart of Bar Harbor. It was our first time in Acadia / Bar Harbor and we would 10000% stay at Misha's place again. The place was spotless and the bedrooms very comfortable. Misha was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations and accommodations. We can't wait to visit again!

Kevin and Donna’s place was very clean and comfortable. It is just a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. Watching the geese and ducks in the beautiful backyard each morning was a bonus. Kevin and Donna are responsive and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse Retreat. Marti greeted us upon arrival and was great about communication prior to the stay. The lodging area is as described and had everything we needed for our stay. It is very close to town and to Acadia National Park. There’s all kinds of great information available in the unit for things like hiking, eating or things to do. And it’s decorated super cute with lots of lighthouses! Please note that you do hear minor noise during awake hours as the unit is below part of the main house (kind of like living in an apartment where you can hear your neighbors talking or walking around). However the place was super quiet during sleeping hours. We loved having a kitchen to use and ate many meals in the unit. The shower is small but lots of hot water and great fluffy towels. I would recommend staying at the Lighthouse Retreat to folks wanting to visit the area.

We loved our stay at Sandy's place. It was our first time visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia NP, and we certainly chose the right place to stay. Perfect location - a short drive to Acadia NP and an easy walk to everything Bar Harbor has to offer (nice restaurants, all kinds of shops, a big grocery store, bike rentals, boat trips, Bar Island, etc.). We were lucky to have good weather during the entire week and enjoyed walking along the shore path after dinner every evening. All the glowing reviews about this place are accurate. Really comfortable, sparkly clean, cozy, and charming. Very well stocked. Conveniently located, yet hidden from traffic and noise. Ample space for off-street parking. We didn't have any issue with the wifi. This lovely place made our first visit to Acadia NP such a pleasant experience, and we highly recommend it.

Norene was very responsive and helpful. Her place was very cute, clean, and as-described. Handful of restaurants just a couple of blocks from the house and a short walk to the water and downtown Bar Harbor area. Neighborhood was very quiet, and we loved the flowers and birds that greeted us outside the home. Would recommend for anyone who wants a Bar Harbor getaway that's within walking distance of all of the fun without staying in the heart of the super busy tourist areas!

Melissa and Dana’s apartment is just a perfect location to access all Bar Harbor has to offer! We could easily walk to anything we needed or wanted to do. The pictures don’t do this apartment justice! Melissa and Dana were super responsive and helpful with recommendations for places to visit and eat. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Bar Harbor!

This is our second time staying, and it is a perfect place to enjoy the ocean view - right across the street, visit friends and family, and chill. And eat lobster and scallops☺️. Thank you, Marie - Laure
