We had a great stay! The unit was very clean and well-stocked. The location is quiet and peaceful, and it's a very short drive to both Bar Harbor and Acadia State Park. Allison is a very responsive communicator and she was very helpful with local tips. We plan to return in the future!

The place is absolutely beautiful. The host is so thoughtful and pays attention to all details. We had a lot of fun here and would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Sandy's place. It was our first time visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia NP, and we certainly chose the right place to stay. Perfect location - a short drive to Acadia NP and an easy walk to everything Bar Harbor has to offer (nice restaurants, all kinds of shops, a big grocery store, bike rentals, boat trips, Bar Island, etc.). We were lucky to have good weather during the entire week and enjoyed walking along the shore path after dinner every evening. All the glowing reviews about this place are accurate. Really comfortable, sparkly clean, cozy, and charming. Very well stocked. Conveniently located, yet hidden from traffic and noise. Ample space for off-street parking. We didn't have any issue with the wifi. This lovely place made our first visit to Acadia NP such a pleasant experience, and we highly recommend it.

This place is in the heart of Bar Harbor. We parked our rental car and only used it once to get groceries. We were walking distance to our whale watch and ghost tours. We were also walking distance to the shore path. The place is super clean and surprisingly quiet for the area. There’s a great restaurant that just opened up across the street “Table Salt” that’s also worth giving a try. Would stay again if we revisit Bar Harbor.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruddy's place. Ruddy and the caretaker were both very responsive and helpful. The home was comfortable, neighborhood quiet, and the location was perfect. Many restaurants, some shopping, and parks were a short walk away. Bar Harbor is absolutely beautiful, and we had a wonderful week there hiking, exploring, and enjoying the gorgeous views.

Melissa and Dana’s apartment is just a perfect location to access all Bar Harbor has to offer! We could easily walk to anything we needed or wanted to do. The pictures don’t do this apartment justice! Melissa and Dana were super responsive and helpful with recommendations for places to visit and eat. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Bar Harbor!

Great location! This was a perfect stay in Bar Harbor. Close to Acadia & walkable to near by bars & restaurants. Easy and clear check in & out instructions. We had a great time!

This is our second stay with Shawn. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. We’ll be back again.

Lorette’s place is a tiny slice of heaven. I highly recommend staying here. The house is older but that’s what makes it so wonderful and have such great charm. The house was on a dead end which made it incredibly private and quiet. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful, bright rainbow and we’re treated to our very first time seeing the northern lights!! Rachel, Lorette’s sister was extremely friendly and helpful and they are both there for you if you need anything very responsive. I have to say it again I highly highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back. If you have children she had such a wonderful stocked location of toys, coloring books sidewalk chalk and for adults plenty of movies and games and crossword puzzles . The backyard was my favorite with the huge deck and the view of the field and path to the water with the beautiful pine trees at the end. I enjoyed every morning with my tea and the birds thank you so much, Lorette!!

Incredible property with jaw-dropping views. I loved watching the tides come in everyday and there's a lot of cool birds and wildlife. The area for feedback I have is that the mattresses are all really firm which made sleeping a little rough. I still rate the property 5 stars and think it's the perfect getaway accommodation for visitors of Acadia. Also the hot tub is nice after sore hiking muscles!

Beautiful spot inside and out. The home is well equipped and spacious. Check in was a breeze and Shelly was very responsive. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms are large and had lots of towels. The back deck is lovely with a great view of the lake. Close to town.

What a beautiful stay. It was my first time in the area and at Acadia NP and I’m so happy I chose Jackie’s place in Winter Harbor rather than the busy Bar Harbor side. It was so peaceful and quiet in the evenings. There were also walking distance hikes in Acadia NP. There is a ferry on the Winter Harbor side to take into Bar Harbor which was a lovely scenic trip and incredibly convenient. There is a delicious seafood restaurant right down the street that was walking distance from the house as well. Jackie was so responsive and a great host. I would 10/10 book again.

Jackie’s place is amazing!!!!! You will not be disappointed. The home has absolutely everything you need, along with an amazing view. We spent 5 wonderful nights and enjoyed it every minute. We highly recommend Outlook Lodge.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Dean’s place. It’s just as depicted in the photos with gorgeous ocean views inside and outside. Our two boys had a great time wandering the shoreline hunting for treasure and exploring Acadia daily. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck & even saw a bald eagle one morning! We’d love to return when the boys are older and make use of the kayaks!

Our family of six adults really enjoyed this beautiful, well-appointed house — particularly the location. This new home has incredible views and we spent considerable time enjoying the wildlife that came into the cove. The hot tub, sauna, croquet set, and kayaks were really special added bonuses of which we took advantage. The house had everything we needed in regard to linens, kitchen items, and entertainment. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The location was very private and peaceful — we didn’t see another person save some friendly waves from passing boats. We drove about 25 minutes for a dinner in Shelburne and visited Digby (2 hours away) and Mahone Bay (~1.5 hours away) while we were there, but also — because of the beautiful setting — ended up spending more time at the house than originally intended. Highly recommend!

So perfect, who designed this??? Everything was clean and easy. I loved all the hooks and stow away options that let me live out of a suitcase. Brian also gave us the best Acadia and Bar Harbor tips for must sees and hiking and dining. Walking to downtown Bar Harbor, including a grocery store was so helpful. Already told my grown children to stay here when they come to Acadia

We had a comfortable stay at Matsa’s in Bar Harbor. It’s walkable to all restaurants and amenities, and so close to the main attractions of Acadia National Park. The place itself was great for our group. We had two toddlers and they were also comfortable. The beds were comfy. Kitchen is well stocked, we had breakfast at the townhome all three days and we felt like after our regular grocery we had everything else to enjoy our meal— great collection of dishes and silverware, basic spices, and oil. If you enjoy coffee, get some fresh one, they have a machine to brew. The host is responsive and easy to communicate. If we come back to Bar Harbor, we’d love to stay again at Matsa’s.

You can’t beat this place for the location and views of the mountains. Easy walk into downtown Bar Harbor plus easy to drive in and out of Acadia park with its location on the edge of town.

Brian’s place was very clean and walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor. Note to guests: apartment is on the second floor up a fairly steep flight of steps.

The best of both world's. Situated on the edge of Bar Harbor, with private parking, this is a tranquil spot to rest and to use as a base for exploring Acadia. At the same time, it is only a few minutes walk to the center of town. We loved walking in the evenings to go to restaurants, bars, movies, etc. --If you get a "late night" (for Maine) hankering for Mt. Desert Island ice cream, you can even walk *back* to town and satisfy your craving (...until 10pm). Loved our visit.

Christine's place was perfect. Everything was clean. it was easy to get into. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place very near Bar Harbors Main Street and the entrance to Acadia. It was very clean and spacious for our group of 5! I would stay again. My only recommendation is to bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping as it is on a street that gets a lot of car traffic.

I returned to Bar Harbor after 40 years. I camped the first time. This time, now older, I really appreciated fine accommodations near the center of Bar Harbor. I enjoyed walking, and not driving everywhere! The apartment was in immaculate condition. Brian communicated with me in a timely manner, along with giving tips and recommendations for hiking trails and other things to do in the area.
