Grant’s Place was an absolute gem—a true home away from home! Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, this heritage home wrapped us in warmth and charm. The delightful snacks were such a sweet touch, making our stay feel extra special! I also loved the thoughtful maps that guided us around, and the absence of a lengthy handbook of rules made everything feel so breezy and welcoming. Just a hop away from Wolfville and Downtown Windsor, it’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind and explore! Highly recommend this fantastic retreat!

From start to finish, Jeff was very responsive and proactive with all of our needs. The location is absolutely perfect and included free underground parking, which was a plus. The space is stunning with lots of extra personal touches, which made us feel right at home. We loved the space so much that we booked a second stay before even checking out. Would 10 out of 10 recommend staying at any of Jeff’s properties in the future.

Our stay was great, everything at house that anyone could need or want.. “home away from home”… It was very clean & comfortable . Carolyn & Stephen were very quick to reply to all messages. Overall it was Great!!!!!

We stayed at Kurt’s place for two nights and it exceeded expectations. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location is amazing for walking around Halifax, and it is inside a heritage building. It is a great central location if you only have a few nights. I would definitely stay here again!

Victoria has created such a cozy and welcoming space with an absolutely gorgeous view. Everything is spotless and pristine, the bed was super comfortable, and she has provided all you need for a home away from home. We enjoyed meeting her very sociable chickens and were able to truly relax in between our runs into Halifax for fabulous food, and a quick trip to Peggy’s Cove. Although our stay was brief, we had a simply marvelous time. Thank you so much, Victoria!

The days we spent in Gillian and Stephen's accommodation were wonderful. It is a really beautiful and very large accommodation and corresponds perfectly to the description on the internet. We would book this accommodation again in a heartbeat.

This fully renovated property has huge rooms, all new furniture, linens and appliances, tons of natural light, a double door from the bedroom that opens to a lovely waterfront deck, and the most charming property manager! We had a bit of trouble figuring out the remote control for the air conditioner/heating unit, and Maurice came right over to help us figure it out. Our lovely conversation kicked off an equally lovely stay. There are lots of options for short stays in Chéticamp, but this will be our go-to pied-à-terre. We loved Chéticamp Island (you can reach it by causeway and it offers a great view of The Acadian Trail road winding up the mountains), Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Aucoin's Boulangerie, and Restaurant Evangeline's for breakfast.

Overall stay was great! The place is spotless and very modern You will have everything you need and easy to find The staircase to the bedroom is unique and the space is very cozy It’s in a very safe neighborhood, peaceful and very quiet It is close to everything The grocery store is very convenient and within walking distance The linens are towels are very clean, with extra washroom when needed The host is friendly and easy to reach for questions Highly recommended !

This place was so charming and perfect for what we needed. We we just stopping for the night. We could see ourselves staying here again maybe for longer next time. Peggy’s cove, Lunenburg and the Swiss air site were all within an hour. You won’t find a more friendly accompanying host. We got in fairly late and Steve was up. He had messaged us a few hours before to let us know the space was ready whenever we got there. He was helpful with suggestions and even left a little basket with some treats for us and our dog.

Bruce was the perfect hostess and very accommodating. Him and his wife even invited us to join them for Christmas dinner. The accommodations were very clean and inviting. It was beautiful decorated with some Christmas decorations. The shower head was the best I have had. I need to ask Bruce what kind it is. We were able to check in early and check out at our leisure. I will definitely be staying again if need be

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

If you are looking to stay in Mahone Bay, this is a perfect spot! The apartment was beautiful, spotless and had lovely views over the bay. You can walk to restaurants, shops and the hosts Chris/Sandy/Kip were so responsive and helpful with any questions. We had dinner at Betty’s (recommended by hosts) and Rebecca’s and both were terrific (make sure to reserve). The shops offer some really unique things and our favourite was the Lighthouse Market (right beside our apartment) as everything is made in Nova Scotia (shop Canadian 🇨🇦 - ELBOWS UP!). We bought some really neat things to take back home to Ontario. We went hiking on the Dynamite Trail and there are lots of options for hiking. We definitely plan to be back!

We loved Janine’s place overlooking the bay, even with cloudy weather it was a gorgeous view to wake up to. We had no trouble finding the place and getting in and felt comfortable in the apartment right away, we also felt safer knowing Janine was nearby if we needed anything - though the apartment had everything we needed and more! It was so nice being surrounded by nature and seeing the swallows nesting, red wing blackbirds snacking, and even a hawk circling over the trees. Close to town with the restaurants and Farmer’s Market on Saturday, but still a quiet area with almost no one around other than the locals. We also really enjoyed our Tidal Bay from nearby Jost vineyard - coincidentally one of my favourites! We were able to barbecue and make a fully locally sourced meal, and the bed was so comfortable. Thanks again Janine, we loved seeing you two working hard on the farm, we’ll be back!

Amazing location with so much history around to see

Without a doubt, the best stocked and most well thought out lodging at wilhich I've ever stayed. very cute place, super functional, and friendly host. The kitchen in particular was well-stocked with equipment. I I think I could have started a restaurant there lol. Loved the place, and would stay there again.

We stayed for a weekend and it was WONDERFUL! The kitchen was gorgeous, the bathroom upstairs was so awesome. Loved the soaker tub and spa room. Parking was easy and everything was communicated very well. There was some work being done downstairs that got pretty loud at times but it was only for a few hours and in the middle of the day. The only thing I can think to improve of it adding blinds/curtains to the downstairs windows. The natural light was lovely but it would have been nice to have the option. Will absolutely book here again if we're in town.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb! The space was quaint, spotless, and incredibly peaceful - the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. The private hot tub overlooking the ocean was a definite highlight, and everything was thoughtfully prepared. It truly felt like our own little slice of paradise. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a serene escape!

I really appreciated the personalized touches and extra effort to ensure I could communicate any needs! The place was beautiful- I was disappointed I forgot my swimsuit and missed out on the hot tub!

We really enjoyed our stay! The amenities were great, so we didn’t mind too much that the weather wasn’t the best and we couldn’t explore as much. Marvin was a superhost—really friendly and always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Our stay at the Green Suite was wonderful! Gavin and Cartney are well experienced with hosting and that stood out. their place was immaculately clean and curated, and truly felt like staying in a hotel. they provided lots of amenities which made our stay easier like makeup wipes, Qtips, cotton balls, many clean towels and face cloths, and chargers for electronics! their neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and private, and only a short trip to downtown :) Cartney was very friendly and more than happy to help us with any questions we had, and always responsive. the Green Suite would be a perfect getaway for anyone looking to stay near downtown, in a quiet, family-friendly area.

We had a great stay. The place was very clean and well kept. It was a comfortable and quiet spot to come back to after exploring the city. The host was responsive, making everything smooth and easy. Having a hot tub was a real bonus— it was the perfect way to relax in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

We had such a wonderful stay. The property is so beautifully landscaped by Bruce and Leesa. You can see the love and care they put into it. The inside was no exception. It felt warm and inviting.
