Monthly Rentals in Woodbury Salterton

We did not meet the owner but it did not matter as she responded immediately. Location was perfect as an older person, quiet and peaceful. Many walking trails. The village has no Laundramat and very limited restaurants. Train service nearby is very good with frequent service. Could not fault the apartment with the exception of a fold-up bed into a cupboard everyday to open the main big window with the view. Probably not suitable for guests with children. In all other respect it was very modern and perfect.

Thyme cottage was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The cottage is characterful and comfortable and well equipped. The fireplace was a wonderful, warm touch. The village of Woodbury Salterton is charming and friendly and close to Exeter. The Diggers Rest is a must! Stop in for a friendly pint or even better for a meal. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Thyme cottage will be among our top stays.

A lovely relaxing stay. The spa pool was used morning and night and we have never felt so relaxed. Katheryn and Ben were most welcoming and friendly and they had left a wonderful folder of helpful hints about the local area. The welcome cake and dog treats were much appreciated also. We stayed with our two dogs and it was nice to have an enclosed yard to keep them safe. It was only a short walk up the drive to find a grass area for their ‘relief’ needs too, which was great. Although the lounge was quite compact with three adults in it, it really did make for a cosy visit and the bedrooms were a good size so we never felt cramped! Kitchen was well equipped and would not hesitate to recommend.
