Catherine takes very good care of her guests! In addition to providing a beautiful, clean, welcoming home and meticulous directions (including photos!), she provides lots of "extra niceties," like ice cubes in the trays, a box of tissues, plenty of hangars in the closets, night lights in the bathrooms, a brand-new kitchen sponge, flashlights by the front door, maps of the area, and LOTS of wonderful books (as well as CDs, videos, and games for kids, which we didn't need but would be great for families with little ones). I especially appreciated the desk and comfortable office chair, as I spent some time writing while my husband was off on more strenuous sequoia hikes than I could go on. I also enjoyed the comfy glider chair in the living room and the fresh eggs from the chickens. The house is way off the beaten path (thus making meticulous directions with photos so helpful), which I found quiet and peaceful.

Great cozy cabin to stay while out at Sequoia National Park. The location was perfect and very convenient! The home was very well equipped and has everything you need, like the comforts of your own home! Great internet service, comfy bed, blankets, lots of towels (huge plus!), toiletries, and washer/dryer. Although we didn’t need to use it, they have a charging station for your EV. The owners thought of everything! We enjoyed the natural light, surrounding greenery and hot chocolate and coffee in the morning that the owners had equipped for guests. Our larger family of seven fit comfortably in the cabin, you just have to be considerate of the one bathroom situation. We had no problems and enjoyed our short one night stay in June. Where the weather is cool at night and warm during the day. We highly recommend when visiting the National Park to stock up on snacks, drink and food before your road trip! We absolutely fell in love with this cabin!! It is so adorable, and you can just feel the history of Wilsonia as soon as you pull up to the cabin. The "take a drink/share a drink" fridge on the porch is such a great welcome, not to mention the lovely bottle of wine and note greeting us once we went inside. The kitchen was very well stocked and the house was super clean! The stairs, as noted by the host, are steep - we expected that. Keep that in mind when deciding how heavy to pack your luggage! :D Loved the sleeping porch (so quaint!) and the outdoor eating area. All of the decorations were so interesting and added to the historic feel. The location can't be beat!!! Super close to Grant Grove/Kings Canyon and only a little over an hour away from Moro Rock/General Sherman Tree. You can't get a closer location than actually being IN the park! It was just perfect. We wish we could have stayed another night and highly recommend this cabin. What a gem. Thank you!!!

Sarinah is very helpful and proactive. She gave precise instructions as to how to get to the place. She is very responsive and responds to queries promptly. The drive was worth the amazing view! 🩷 Peaceful and relaxing after an adventurous day at the parks (Sequoia and King’s Canyon). Basking in the hot tub relishing the sunset and stargazing at night was the perfect way to cap off the day. It was a pleasant stay! Will definitely book again! ❤️🩷
