Monthly Rentals in Wilmington

We chose Mark's property in the first instance because we wanted to stay close to Glyndebourne, but we fell on our feet in every respect. The house is attractively and comfortably furnished, and is in a beautiful, welcoming garden setting, with plenty of opportunity to sit outdoors. We were looking for somewhere suitable for someone with impaired mobility, and the property ticked all the boxes (a step up to the shower was the only potential hazard). The kitchen is small but well-equipped, and it's perfectly possible to prepare simple evening meals: the fridge held as much as we needed for a 4 night stay. Mark even bought a teapot specially for our arrival! An off-road dedicated parking space is really helpful for nervous parkers. The property is just a few minutes' drive from Charleston Farmhouse and also Berwick Church (not to mention the fabulous Cricketers Arms in Berwick!). Mark was an unobtrusive but friendly and welcoming host and responded to any query within minutes.

"What Knot" is absolutely unique, something you would find on George Clarke's "Amazing Spaces", and we loved it! Set in a beautiful and peaceful garden location, everything is thoughtfully packed in to a remarkable space that belies it's actual size. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, with all you need provided for - even bread/eggs/cereals for breakfast, plus a couple of G&Ts in the fridge to boot! Heather was a great host, and particularly easy to communicate with - she sent us perfect directions for how to get there, and clear instructions to check in and out. The location is also superb, being just yards away from Alfriston high street, which has well stocked shop, cafe, and pubs/restaurants with many eating options. Overall, a great stay in a great location, and we would definitely recommend if you found yourself in that part of the world!

This is a lovely place to stay. Very quiet. It has been so well converted into accommodation.The views are terrific. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen facilities are good. Everything you need all in all. Thanks Alison for the breakfast supplies. We hope to stay again . Janice
