The house is large and well-equipped with very comfortable beds - just as all others have said. Val's and Nancy's thoughtfulness makes the house feel as if you are welcome guests. Knowing that we had a two year old and mixed weather predictions, they had produced an indoor playground! In addition, there was a vast number of very welcome toys all of which made the holiday a happy one for us all. We cannot praise the Owl Centre/ Small Breeds farm enough: in good weather, it is large and airy with a very good range of lovely birds and animals. The tot was delighted that he could enter the fields to stroke the goats and sheep. The place is very well-managed so that when it rains, the animals are all under cover and still with enclosures which children can enter. We revisited Hay, Capel-y-ffin and Llanthony. Daughter always loves to join a Transwales trek. This is a lovely, spacious house for an extended family/ large group to relax and enjoy the Brecon Beacons/ Black Mountains.

A lovely cottage ideally located for our visit to the Hay festival. Su gave us sufficient information for us to enjoy our stay and was welcoming and very helpful. We used the New Strand pub, next door. The welcome and the food are excellent and the landlady, Briar, extremely friendly. Eardisley is a picturesque village.

An excellent place to stay that I would highly recommend. Fiona and James were lovely and very helpful. They were personally on hand for us whenever we needed anything. It was a please to meet them and to stay in their guest house. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed to make breakfasts and dinners. The beds were comfy and the rest of the house well appointed. We stopped in the main house for breakfast on the first morning of our day and it was fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
