Monthly Rentals in Wharariki Beach

We love staying at Kōtuku even when it’s raining! Which it did for most of our recent visit. Bellbirds, tūīs, piwakwaka all keeping us company and even little blue penguins too - they’re a bit noisy at night though!

Wonderful farm life style, very special peacocks, feed and watch them, even in storm rainy weather, we really enjoy the stay, many thanks to Mary!

A simple but comfortable historic bach in a peaceful off-road location with a glimpse of sea from the front porch table, Emma’s cottage was just what we needed. The shower is hot and strong, the queen bed comfortable and the woodstove cozy and easy to use, with plenty of firewood stocked by the owners. There was plenty or kitchenware to prepare a dinner for six. Thank you for holding on to the bach’s historic feel while providing everything we needed for a happy stay. We look forward to returning, best wishes!
