Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in West Virginia

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

"The Game House" was an amazing family weekend! Rachel, the owner, thought of everything. Every corner is packed with fun. The game theme is incredible – we couldn't count all the games! The escape room was a surprising highlight; we got sucked in and the ending was a true surprise! #nospoileralert. This house encouraged connection with endless board games, Mario Kart, laser tag, and movies. We also explored the New River Gorge Bridge, enjoying trails and waterfalls. Rachel was amazing, always checking in. The place was extremely clean and every detail was themed, even the bathrooms! They even have a huge Operation game. This house belongs in Airbnb's "OMG" section – we said it all weekend discovering new things. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Thank you, Rachel, for a great family weekend!

This place was beautiful and very close to Summerville Lake. We had a lovely time and would love to return again. Nathan is very responsive to your needs.

This was our second stay at Robert's place. We love the Ohio River at the back of the house with great views both during the day and at night. The beds are comfy and the house has lots of room to stretch out and enjoy. A must stop whenever we are in Wheeling.

Place was awesome beds were comfy and the kayaks were allot of fun, loved having the privacy too, only two things that kinda sucked but wasn’t bad really was the neighborhood the home is in restricts motorcycles .. the host helped me out and we got it taken care of, and the neighbors dog likes to come running out in front of the car and chase you so beware of it, wouldn’t want anyone to hit him. Overall amazing place to stay we loved it!

It rained almost every day, but the house was nice and cozy, perfect for reading and doing puzzles. We had a relaxing time which is what we were after

Joyce was so welcoming and the apartment was fabulous! Loved the bird feeder, the private view, and also how personable Joyce & John are. The view over the mountains from their yard is gorgeous, and they invite guests to walk trails on the property. The apartment had everything I needed and was beautifully designed and decorated. I brought all of my food and found everything I needed to cook—great pans, extra staples like oil, spices and sugar. The whole reason I went was to hike in Cooper’s Rock State Forest, and Joyce told me about a little known trail that is not in the main part of the park—it turned out to be my favorite trail. I highly recommend staying at Cooper’s Retreat!!

Tracie's place delivered on its promise of being cozy and private. I was in and out a lot over my stay but was perfectly comfortable in the unit. I appreciated the quiet and peacefulness of my stay in the midst of a lot of social time in my schedule. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! So glad I found Tracie and her place.

Charming apartment. Like staying at your eclectic Great Aunt's home with a mix of vintage decor, and wall pictures of a bear or tiger lounging and of downtown Pittsburgh. There are many wonderful areas to relax. This host had the clearest instructions for finding the apt and for entry. Kitchen stocked with coffee, instant oatmeal and granola bars. Plenty of cozy blankets. Vines trailed around the upper porch. Enjoyed evening quiet time on the porch. The porch was a wonderful breakfast spot too. Lovely! Very close to downtown AND the college.

I couldn't have asked for anything more staying at Doc's Guesthouse! Nancy's place was so cute and charming. Perfect location for all activities Davis/Thomas/Blackwater Falls. If I make a trip back, I would 100% stay here again!

Absolutely loved staying at the Quaintrelle after a weeklong camping trip. The space is beautifully designed with so many thoughtful touches that showed how much they care about guests' comfort. The shower was incredible. We loved the sheet of local recommendations and the story of how the Dandy came to be. We will definitely be returning next time we're in the area!

We wish we could move this Airbnb to every destination we go to. It is a nicely laid out floor plan and beautifully furnished. The host took care of us very well. This was our base for a hiking vacation in Dolly Sods and these accommodations rivaled the spectacular hiking experience.

Thank you so much for making our stay easy and pleasant. So many times, we've walked into a rental and looked around with disappointment. Not here! This was a spacious, yet cozy condo with great views to wake up to. I even had great cell service with AT&T! Michael was extremely responsive and his detailed directions made checkin a breeze, especially after traveling on motorcycles for hours. Lots of linens and extra blankets. I can't say enough about our experience. We will definitely be back!

Visiting the area in May makes you feel like you’re visiting a ghost town. However, staying at this AirBNB gave you the coziness of a cabin with the privacy and comfort of knowing you’re not alone. We are so grateful for our hostess with supplying a delightfully cozy space with all the essentials for a weekend getaway away for two. We loved every minute of staying in and being unplugged from our work life.

We enjoyed our stay, it was centrally located to everything we wanted to do in the New River Gorge area.

This is by far the cleanest Airbnb at snowshoe I have ever stayed in. The check in was super nice and easy. I highly recommend.
