Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West Virginia

This was such a convenient stay for me. I needed to be at the cultural center the next morning and it was less than 4 miles away. It’s also very close to the civic center. The place was very clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable too. Dennis was very friendly and made me feel safe at comfortable. Great coffee selection.

This place is AMAZING! So many fun things to do! The hot tub in the cave was mind blowing, we loved it! Our 6yr old enjoyed feeding and petting the bunnies and chickens! Fishing was so much fun! Ken was an amazing host and responded very quickly! !!5 STARS!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Our stay at the Harry Potter house was excellent. The kids loved the theme and we amazed at all the details that we incorporated. The escape room was a bit tight, so we had to do it as 2 different groups, but everyone had fun. We would definitely recommend this to other families or Harry Potter fans. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay 1 night.

The place was beautiful and clean and the location was great! The hosts were extremely helpful and hospitable. Wonderful recommendations for nearby hikes and restaurants. We had a fantastic stay and will be back!

We had an enjoyable family trip. We especially enjoyed the game space. The house was very clean and well stocked with the little things easily missed when packing. They answered my questions quickly and were very accommodating. I would go again and recommend to me friends. It is important to note their suggestion to arrive in a truck or SUV as the gravel road up the mountain could be challenging in a smaller vehicle. But is definitely worth the drive. Such a beautiful retreat - close to downtown Berkeley Springs but just far enough away to feel completely secluded. the view from every room and balcony was gorgeous. The house has nearly everything you need right there - we especially appreciated the kitchen having seasonings & all of the pots/pans/dishes you need to cook. Our goal was having a few days to rest and spend time with each other, and that's exactly what we were able to do. The game room was a real treat, and the bowl of conversation starters in the living room was such a fun way to hang out without just having the TV on.

What a very home like, warm feeling it was staying here. My whole family and I enjoyed our stay very much, from cooking good meals to making memories

Tracie's place delivered on its promise of being cozy and private. I was in and out a lot over my stay but was perfectly comfortable in the unit. I appreciated the quiet and peacefulness of my stay in the midst of a lot of social time in my schedule. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! So glad I found Tracie and her place.

This was a cozy, quiet place to stay in a lovely, walkable neighborhood. I enjoyed my coffee on the porch and morning walks around the lovely campus of WV Wesleyan University just a few blocks away. It was also a perfect location for exploring downtown Buckhannon. We would book again if we come back to the area.

Tracy’s place was very clean and smelled so good as soon as we walked in. She paid lots of attention to detail and made sure our stay was cozy and that we had everything we would need. She also gave us very clear instructions on how to get to the apartment since it wasn’t available through gps.

Great place, great communication from hosts, great central location. Stayed 1 adult and 2 kids, and the bed and pull-out couch were great. The little kitchen is little but gets the job done and allowed us to have a few meals in the room instead of going out. Thanks for a great stay!

Visiting the area in May makes you feel like you’re visiting a ghost town. However, staying at this AirBNB gave you the coziness of a cabin with the privacy and comfort of knowing you’re not alone. We are so grateful for our hostess with supplying a delightfully cozy space with all the essentials for a weekend getaway away for two. We loved every minute of staying in and being unplugged from our work life.

I definitely enjoyed my stay. The condo was very clean, had everything I needed, and I had no issues during my month-long visit. Lindsey and Josh were very helpful and friendly hosts and I'd gladly return again in the future, thank you.

3 of us stayed at Laura's for a quick reunion on the slopes. It was a great find on relatively short notice, with easy access to the mountain. Laura was great at communicating with us prior to our arrival and her place was just exactly as described. I brought a cot for myself and the other two slept on the bed and the sofa bed. The fireplace was a great touch, and we had a fire going while we played board games and caught up before a day on the mountain. Her water was nice and hot, with all of us having plenty. The kitchen had the essentials and we really loved how the view went into the woods rather into a parking lot. We would highly recommend her place for any future visitors to Snowshoe!

Wonderful Stay in May I had an amazing stay at Charles Condo in May! The place was exactly as described—clean and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable visit. The host, Charles, was welcoming and responsive, making the check in easy. The location was great for us, close to ski areas, national parks and hiking trails. The condo is in a very quiet and wooded area making fora peaceful stay and offers amazing views. The spring weather made it even more enjoyable, whether relaxing outdoors or exploring the area.
