Holiday rentals with a patio in West Virginia

Perfect accommodations for our weekend trip. We were able to swing by the cafe for lunch on the way in and were immediately welcomed and the food was great! Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Sinks Grove!

I really loved the area, it was so nice and felt just like home. The neighbors were so sweet and helpful, and the inside of the home was so much bigger and nicer than I was expecting! I would definitely stay here again.

Jesse’s place is wonderful! Beyond clean and cozy, with comfortable furniture and bedding. Smelled great and quickly felt at home. Loved the decorations & was pleasantly surprised with the extra throw blankets and milk/sugar for my coffee. Would love to stay again

This was not our first stay at Hillbilly Hideaway and it won’t be the last. We feel right at home and we love feeling like we are staying with friends! It’s always the little details that make a big difference. I appreciated not having to do much to check out. I had my clothes on for church and all that was required for us to check out was to strip the linens and that definitely made it easier! I recommend Hillbilly Hideaway without hesitation!

We had such a lovely time both inside and around the stay. Greg was super helpful and we went by all his recommendations and had the very best time. The stay was extremely peaceful and very cozy. The place is even better than the pictures. We would definitely love to go back!

Staying here was like a breath of fresh air. As a travel nurse, I’ve stayed in many different locations/rentals and this was by far THE best. From the drive in to the apartment itself; everything went seamlessly. The apartment takes up the entire length above their garages and is immaculate and quiet. It felt very private, safe, and was beyond comfortable. I had everything I needed to make my weekend work trip that I often dread seem like a mini-vacation. If you’re hesitant to book, just do it…you’ll be so happy you did. Thanks Andrea! I’ll be back for sure!! :)

My daughter and I loved our stay at this location. The additional pictures made it super easy to find even in the pouring rain. Our host was very sweet and nice and even checked on us to make sure we found it ok and was safe (we traveled during a storm). My daughter and I loved the old character of the place and found it extremely charming and peaceful. We both slept well - my bed was awesome! It was very comfy, and I had no problems falling asleep. It was perfect for our needs and for our short stay as well as conveniently located. I would not hesitate to stay at this location again! We may just do that in the near future. I was pleased and happy and I am very appreciative for the kindness of our host!

We had the best time at Bryce’s place! It was extremely spacious and peaceful with an incredible view - he also had SO many local recommendations! The Farmer’s Market (which had a dog friendly patio), hiking at Lost River State Park, and Lost River Trading post were some of our trip highlights. The perfect remote getaway!

Terri’s Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous. The detail and thought they put into this Airbnb was impeccable. You got to enjoy the feel of a private log cabin with all of the updates! The kitchen has everything you needed, and was nice and open to the living room. There were 3 bedrooms- all with good sized beds! It rained the first day, but the second day we cooked out on the grill and had a great time staying in! We also did a little exploring to the observatory. We’d 100% come back and spend a longer weekend walking the trails and taking a train ride! Overall 10/10 stay! :)

What a very home like, warm feeling it was staying here. My whole family and I enjoyed our stay very much, from cooking good meals to making memories

Overall we had a wonderful time at Jennifer and Rodney’s place. It was exactly as described and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the time spent on the back porch and around the fire pit. Unfortunately the weather was not very cooperative and we were not able to get out and enjoy the trails as much as we would have liked. Also we were 1 week too early and most attractions in the area were not operating during the week days. I was concerned about getting a good sleep on the mattress but managed to sleep through each night. I would recommend that anyone wanting to cook something without it sticking to the well worn pans bring along their own as the ones in the kitchen are well past their prime. Thank you Jennifer and Rodney for providing this great getaway spot.

It rained almost every day, but the house was nice and cozy, perfect for reading and doing puzzles. We had a relaxing time which is what we were after

Nice homely place! We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the neighbours feeder. Cathedral state park is worth a visit,the big old hemlocks are beautiful.

Outstanding retreat! The pictures hardly capture the beauty and level of detail considered in making us all comfortable! Soft towels, luxe robes and extremely clean. But what stood out the most were the amazing, proactive and thoughtful hosts! Answering so many questions and anticipating our every need! We would def recommend and will be returning by soon! Lovely place and amazing hosts! This place is a must see! Hot tub and sauna were spotless and key to our relaxing holiday! Great place to make memories!

Tucked back in a little holler along a quiet, crystal clear river, this cottage is a lovely gem to kick back and relax in after spending the day enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the local area. And there's so much to do in the region, especially if you're the outdoorsy type, and this place is close to all of the cool stuff you'll want to do. There's also plenty of nature just sitting on the back porch (if you're lucky, maybe the neighbour's chickens will come visit). We didn't rent the kayaks this time around, but we definitely will next time. Indoors, you'll find comfortable furnishings, a roomy and modern kitchen, washer and dryer, three bedrooms (with very comfy beds) and nice linens. And bonus! The bathtub is deep enough to actually take a bath in! Everything is clean and neat, decent parking, and so much better than any hotel. Michael is quick to respond if you have any questions, and gives you your privacy if you don't. A good host. 😊

Thank you so much for making our stay easy and pleasant. So many times, we've walked into a rental and looked around with disappointment. Not here! This was a spacious, yet cozy condo with great views to wake up to. I even had great cell service with AT&T! Michael was extremely responsive and his detailed directions made checkin a breeze, especially after traveling on motorcycles for hours. Lots of linens and extra blankets. I can't say enough about our experience. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Kerrie's place! She had everything we could need. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities plus sugar, spices, coffee, tea, and some snacks. Laundry detergent and toiletries were available to use. Tons of books to read! We didn't use the fireplace but there was wood if we wanted it. There was an issue with the thermostat (turned out previous renter turned off the heater) and Kerrie had someone at the unit within minutes to help figure out the issue. Beds were comfortable and i loved that she had plenty of extra blankets. She also had cable TV in addition to streaming, which is seems like a rare find these days. Location is 10 minutes from both Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley Resort and short enough drive to Seneca Rocks. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place to stay near New River Gorge NP, ACE and Adventures on the Gorge. Close to the good food and activities in Fayetteville. Very affordable, clean, and cozy.

It was a perfect stay for a long weekend get away for my partner and I. Very convenient for skiing and having a fun afternoon.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean, the bed and all recliners were very comfortable. We liked having a covered porch off the bedroom.. The neighborhood is quiet at night we had no problems with noise. Although we did not cook, the kitchen is well stocked if you chose to. Check in was a breeze and the host replied quickly. This is a wonderful, cozy, centrally located place to stay. Highly recommend it!!

A great location (5 min walk to top of Powderidge lift, 2 min to shuttle stop) and at a great value! Nita's communication was great and even allowed us to check-in early which was great! The condo is a little dated but feels cozy and personal. The fireplace is great to have in the winter. Bed as well as the pullout sofa bed are both comfortable. Its one of the best stocked Airbnb's we have stayed and made cooking our meals easy. Any time we said I wish we had that item, we were able to find it. The pictures don't show it but there are two 40-50" smart TVs (one on the cabinet next to the sofa and another on a cabinet in front of the queen bed) so we were able to watch movies at night. The deer also visited the back porch one evening which was awesome! Would 100% recommend and come back in the future!

Taylor is an excellent host, great communicator and very welcoming. The place was absolutely clean, tidy and organized. We highly recommend Taylor and her place.

Great place, very relaxing and fantastic views. Hosts invited us to check in early on our arrival day which was really nice because otherwise woulda had to kill some hours before checking in. We were there for bike season, just far enough from village that it was very peaceful. Imagine ski season this is super nice with the lift right outside the door.
