The decor is a wonderful blend of old and new. Everything was well thought out. The view was gorgeous. We would highly recommend for a restful getaway.

Ted and Toni were awesome! They answered every time we needed them and were always willing to help or even just chit chat…they have a beautiful family and were awesome to be around. They have some pretty nice dogs to play with too! Can’t be more thankful for them during our stay than we are. They gave us a sweet card to congratulate us on our little one on the way and it truly was the sweetest.

The stay with Toni was amazing and she really went above and beyond to be hospitable and make the stay comfortable. I was there for an extended stay for a relocation and felt I like was treated like a family member, even having dinner and meeting some family a couple times. I was able to do laundry and received helpful advice about the area and in finding a new place to live. The living space was clean and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. - SBH

What a perfect spot to spend your time in Morgantown! In fact we enjoyed our stay so much it was very difficult to leave! The apt. was immaculate and cozy. It contained everything we needed including a hot tub which we enjoyed and a patio overlooking a beautiful view of the countryside,which for us coming from outside NYC was an absolute dream ‼️Mike and Brenda couldn’t have made us feel more welcome showing us some real southern hospitality, such lovely people. All in all a perfect stay, we are planning to return at a later date which is the most positive review you could leave…

This Airbnb was great! Super cute, clean, and inviting, with so much personality. The host truly thought of everything, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Communication was excellent, with thoughtful check-ins to ensure we had everything we needed. The space was stocked with extra toiletries, snacks, drinks, and even extra chargers—such a nice touch! We also loved the great recommendations for local spots. Highly recommend!

The accommodations are beautiful and cozy. if you are looking for a quiet getaway in a lovely, nature-fillled setting, it is very nice. I was surprised that it was much smaller inside and on the porch area than it appeared in the photos on the listing. It is not a "cabin" at all; it is a small basement apartment. We made it work, but it wasn't what we were looking for. Renting a place that was in the basement of a home sounds iffy, but a bit more transparency about what the rental actually is would be helpful. The kitchen is apartment-sized with a small stove that has only one oven rack, making it difficult to cook for a large family. There is no bathtub, and the shower is very small. Water sprays and splashes out onto the rug outside, which remains soaked for the entire visit. No broom, dustpan, fans, or toilet plunger. Beds and furniture are comfortable, but not being able to turn AC on and off was a big issue. You can stay warm, but not cool. Owner controls AC from her home. Too hot

The perfect stay! Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The bunker was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—and then some. The attention to detail made it feel like a boutique, with cozy linens, quality toiletries and finishes. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to local attractions, restaurants, and hiking trails. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional place and memorable getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I would love to come back. Dawn was great and the breakfast and banana nut bread was wonderful. Loved the suite and this is one of my favorite Airbnb places I’ve stayed at.

This was a wonderful stay. The room was roomy, rustic, quiet, homey and just what we were looking for. The cabins are in a wooded setting away from the hustle and bustle of town. Robert gave us a quick tour of their larger room which is lovely. We will be back for another stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Hal and Andrea. They were incredibly welcoming and communicative. Hal provided clear instructions for accessing the private driveway, and the space was squeaky clean. I loved how much of the original structure was accentuated through the design and renovation of this place. It was also decorated to reflect the railroad history of Bluefield. If you, like me, love the mountains and a peaceful neighborhood, this is the place to rest your head.

Nicholas’ place was exactly as advertised. Beautiful view from the spacious & well-equipped back-porch. House has everything you’d need. 15 minutes to Milan Puskar Stadium, 12 minutes to downtown WVU campus. Nicholas was very responsive & proactive with making sure we were able to get into the airbnb okay as well as offering to clean deck if sticks came in from the storm that came through while we were there. I’ll be looking out for availability the next time I come back to Morgantown!

This stay was great, but be aware that the road may be impassable during the winter. There was a car spun out into the ditch, which caused us to have an hour delay to turn around and go back up the mountain. Although the location is quiet and peaceful next to the river, we found it to be a bit inconvenient for going to Snowshoe.

Nick was super accomodating and was flexible. I would recommend his place and would stay again.

Always a great stayat this location

If you are looking for comfort, privacy, cleanliness and a beautiful location, this is it! You feel right at home with all the amenities you need. The beds and pillows very comfortable with beautiful linens. The kitchen was perfect for with a lovely dining area. The living room was very comfortable and all the TV channels you would need for entertainment. Bonus was the adorable, fenced yard for our Goldendoodle. You are close to stores, downtown Charles Town, Harpers Ferry and so many wineries. So much better than a hotel in every way!!!

We loved Lucky Hole 7! The home was beautiful, cozy, quiet, and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool table, the lovely patio, and full kitchen. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend. Richard was a great host!
