Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West Virginia

This was such a convenient stay for me. I needed to be at the cultural center the next morning and it was less than 4 miles away. It’s also very close to the civic center. The place was very clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable too. Dennis was very friendly and made me feel safe at comfortable. Great coffee selection.

This place is AMAZING! So many fun things to do! The hot tub in the cave was mind blowing, we loved it! Our 6yr old enjoyed feeding and petting the bunnies and chickens! Fishing was so much fun! Ken was an amazing host and responded very quickly! !!5 STARS!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This home and its location is beautiful. The hot tub is a great bonus after hiking and whitewater rafting! Nathan what's incredible to work with and always available!

We had an enjoyable family trip. We especially enjoyed the game space. The house was very clean and well stocked with the little things easily missed when packing. They answered my questions quickly and were very accommodating. I would go again and recommend to me friends. It is important to note their suggestion to arrive in a truck or SUV as the gravel road up the mountain could be challenging in a smaller vehicle. But is definitely worth the drive. Great stay !!! Very nice and clean

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the deck is absolutely incredible at sunrise. It’s about a 25 minute drive to town where we enjoyed mulling around at the unique local shops and checking out the Roman baths. Jacqueline also did a great job communicating her expectations for our tidying things up upon departure. Thank you!

My family loves this apartment with all its amenities and charm. As always, David and Cecil made us feel so welcome, and the space was perfect for a small family gathering.

Joyce was so welcoming and the apartment was fabulous! Loved the bird feeder, the private view, and also how personable Joyce & John are. The view over the mountains from their yard is gorgeous, and they invite guests to walk trails on the property. The apartment had everything I needed and was beautifully designed and decorated. I brought all of my food and found everything I needed to cook—great pans, extra staples like oil, spices and sugar. The whole reason I went was to hike in Cooper’s Rock State Forest, and Joyce told me about a little known trail that is not in the main part of the park—it turned out to be my favorite trail. I highly recommend staying at Cooper’s Retreat!!

Enjoyed my stay in Charleston. Would definitely stay here again. Sarah was so kind and helpful with everything. Highly recommend.

Tracie's place delivered on its promise of being cozy and private. I was in and out a lot over my stay but was perfectly comfortable in the unit. I appreciated the quiet and peacefulness of my stay in the midst of a lot of social time in my schedule. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! So glad I found Tracie and her place.

Tracy’s place was very clean and smelled so good as soon as we walked in. She paid lots of attention to detail and made sure our stay was cozy and that we had everything we would need. She also gave us very clear instructions on how to get to the apartment since it wasn’t available through gps.

A perfect weekend getaway. Thomas has so many quaint shops, cozy coffee spots, and friendly people. Live music at the purple fiddle is always a favorite (and great ice cream for the kids). The tip top coffee shop just downstairs has so many drink and snack options to enjoy there or take back to your flat. Great shops to browse both in Thomas and just down the road in Davis. AND close to great hiking spots. The Dandy is always our first pick! Artistic, moody, clean, the most comfortable bed, and every thing you need in your micro kitchen to keep you comfortable during your stay. Highly recommend this gem!

Great place, great communication from hosts, great central location. Stayed 1 adult and 2 kids, and the bed and pull-out couch were great. The little kitchen is little but gets the job done and allowed us to have a few meals in the room instead of going out. Thanks for a great stay!

Visiting the area in May makes you feel like you’re visiting a ghost town. However, staying at this AirBNB gave you the coziness of a cabin with the privacy and comfort of knowing you’re not alone. We are so grateful for our hostess with supplying a delightfully cozy space with all the essentials for a weekend getaway away for two. We loved every minute of staying in and being unplugged from our work life.

I definitely enjoyed my stay. The condo was very clean, had everything I needed, and I had no issues during my month-long visit. Lindsey and Josh were very helpful and friendly hosts and I'd gladly return again in the future, thank you.

Charles place has a beautiful view and is near by the Black Water Falls State Park where you can do a lot of activties. It was very nice that we could use the BBQ outside and the cozy appartement has everything you need.

Great condo. Easy to find and conveniently located. Well equipped and decorated to maximize space and efficiency. Perfect for us and our pups. Hope to stay again in the future!
