Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West LA

Lovely, peaceful, and cozy! It was the perfect place to unwind after being around hectic LA all day. Graham was also super helpful with anything we might need and checked up on us via chat a few times. I felt well cared for!! He also helped us unlock the door when I had difficulty with the lock. Lovely home and wonderful host!!

Staying at Howard and Jaqui's beautiful Santa Monica home, Serenity, was an unforgettable experience. The private outdoor patio provided a peaceful sanctuary, perfect for relaxing in quiet solitude. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the exceptional warmth and care from Howard and Jaqui. During the unprecedented Pacific Palisades fires, they went above and beyond—coming over to check on us, answering questions, and offering support with genuine concern. Their kindness and hospitality made all the difference. They are truly lovely people, and their home is a perfect reflection of their heart and generosity. I couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

We had a wonderful stay! Mehry was an incredibly kind and attentive host—always helpful and easy to communicate with. The home was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. We truly felt at home and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

Looks like renovating was finished the day before— that clean and new feeling. Very nice host. Fast complete responses. Very comfortable place for 2. Easy walk to Wilshire Blvd with both Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods 1 1/2 blocks away. Highly recommended

The house was charming, well appointed and decorated. The host was responsive and friendly. A great Airbnb experience (especially in the LA area where the quality of the Airbnb’s vastly differ).

The best Airbnb experience that I have had in the LA area since I have been coming here for work for the past six months. Joy was incredibly responsive, the space was as described, extra little surprise and delight amenities… Really fantastic. Definitely worth the price paid And I felt very well taken care of.

We loved the house - it was exactly as pictured. The house was bright, welcoming and very kid friendly. They plenty of towels and everything you’d need to feel right at home. Loved that Whole Foods was so close. Sara was super responsive and communication was very easy with her. The house was perfect for our family - we would definitely stay here again when visiting LA!

Great location with a nice cafe walking distance. Can be a bit tricky to park (look out for street sweeping days). The place was cosy and comfortable.

This was my first experience using Airbnb & I was a little apprehensive. But Neal’s place was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised at how new & clean & decorated so pretty the apartment was. It was in a wonderful location in Santa Monica, convenient to the Pier, restaurants, highways & a quick ride to LAX. Private parking was easy & there was a pretty yard to sit & enjoy the sun. And a lovely park right across the street. Neal was a very pleasant host. Very quick to respond & extremely accommodating. He made the check in process flawless with step by step instructions. And always answered messages immediately. I highly recommend Neal & his lovely Santa Monica apartment. Five stars all the way!!

The place is comfy and has a great location walkable to really everything you need. I enjoyed that it was close to everything but still very quiet, peaceful, and safe at night. I will mention that I almost thought about cancelling before I came because of the communication through the messages when I asked questions or suggestions. When I arrived or maybe a day before, the customer service did seem to shift and my stay was enjoyable.

This property is so private! The unit was much larger than I anticipated with a well equipped kitchen and an amazingly comfortable bed. The location is one of the best listings in Santa Monica area. I highly recommend.

Exactly as advertised with a great host to match! Akaisha was super responsive if we had questions - one night we came back and couldn’t find any street parking and the hosts were able to figure something out for us. Would be great if there was built in parking for this unit as there’s a good amount of room on the property, but we knew it was street parking when booking. Not a lot of noise from Venice Blvd or the 10! Decent neighborhood, easy to get to main street walking. The unit itself was really great, though don’t bank on using the couch to sleep, it’s not very comfortable. It’s a tried and true one bedroom with one bed.

Great space for a quick escape while our home had some renovations being completed. The place was near many great restaurants and grocery stores that we took advantage of. Check in was a breeze thanks to hosts clear instructions.

We had to leave sooner than scheduled but the apt is in a safe and nice area. Madison is attentive, kind and willful to help. This place is close to everything.

Listing was clean and as described. Location was walkable and close to many metro bike stations, where you can rent bikes for pretty cheap. I’d recommend going up north more towards Santa Monica than south towards Venice.

It was spacious, clean and well organized. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The appliances were relatively new. One of the best features was the beautiful courtyard gardens, where we had our morning coffee every day.

Sam and Amber are great hosts and their place is perfect for a few days Santa Monica and LA. It’s very close to the beach, pier and the 3rd street boulevard (shopping and restaurants). Both of them replied quickly and were always helpful. The apartment has everything you need and is well equipped. The free parking in a garage is a big plus! We would come back and can absolutely recommend the two and their apartment!

Overall, my stay went pretty smooth. The guests were very helpful and checking out was seamless. The apartment itself was filled with very nice amenities. The living room is very spacious and having parking is a plus. The Airbnb is situated in a nice area. I enjoyed my stay and recommend to anyone wanting to stay near the LA area.

John and Vincent were perfect hosts. Went out of their way to make the check in smooth, and be responsive. Their bnb is in a fantastic location, we walked everywhere , access to the beach was super easy and we were surrounded by great restaurants. My family had a wonderful break, we would go back in a heartbeat.

Great spot in the heart of downtown. Loved the rooftop pool. Very convenient location, close to Dodger Stadium (Go Blue!). Host easy to communicate with. Front desk people super cool. Was nice to have parking too. Would stay again. Be sure to read about the history of this building. Super interesting.

Cara’s place was awesome. My daughter and I stayed there for 3 nights and it was a great experience. Cara was super responsive and her directions and details for using her space were very helpful (parking, keypad access, etc). The unit was clean and pretty and had everything it said it would in the description. The garden was fantastic. It was so lovely with palms, a banana tree, succulents, flowers and the gorgeous fountain. It was a great base camp location for us because we crammed a lot of sight seeing into our short time in LA. We were able to walk to the 3rd Street Promenade, Ocean Front Walk and the Santa Monica Pier, from there we rented the public bikes and rode one-way to Venice to explore the boardwalk and canals. We could go on and on and wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything was perfect! Sam is extremely polite, gentle and was available a 100% of the time! The place is extremely clean and comfortable! It’s located in a great street and quiet street in West Hollywood and also, it’s close to everything. I recommend it to everyone and I’d definitely stay there again!
