Family-friendly holiday rentals in West LA

Loved the stay here, as soon as arrival Jamie was there for us! Definitely felt like at home, everything was just right! Close to universal for those who plan to stay close by. Would definitely come back in the future. Recommend it for anyone in general!!

Great spot to stay, easy to get to and from LAX. Very quiet and peaceful and excellently appointed. We loved the hot tub and private garden space. Franco and Iris were very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic. This place feels like a home with all the things one needs to be comfortable. The yard and hot tub were great. The bonus was the in-tune piano! Our whole party voiced wishes to stay here again.

Logan was such a great host. He was very warm and welcoming and was quick to respond whenever we had any questions. The backyard is even nicer in person and we enjoyed this spending time with family out there. Would definitely recommend you stay here next time you’re in the area.

Hallgrim was a very gracious host. We were moving from another Airbnb & needed a place to stow our refrigerated food for 3 hours. He easily accommodated that & ultimately said we could just check in early. One caveat - be sure you understand the street parking protocol. It works but it can be tight, especially late at night. We always found a spot but you will need good parallel parking skills. The house is personal & eclectic & you will feel like you are staying at a good friend’s house. This is not the usual “just the basics” corporate Airbnb. It is a home. My daughter & I felt very comfortable staying here & would definitely book it again. The Canyon has a unique history. In addition to looking thru the beautiful coffee table book Hallgrim has left out for his guests to enjoy, you must watch Echo in the Canyon for an extended stroll through the musical history of this unique canyon. You’ll be singing Mamas and Papas songs on your way down to Lilly’s Cafe in no time!

Overall an incredible experience! Very clean. Very comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Good communication. The view is insane. Pictures don’t do it justice. A well needed relaxing getaway in nature away from the city. Highly recommend.

Ari’s place is fantastic. I sat out in the patio every morning listening to birds and having coffee. Nice quiet cul de sac. House was exactly as photos represented. Amenities and kitchen and bathrooms were resort level. Great place and I’ll be back! Thanks Ari.

Beautifully landscaped mountain house with rustic charm and an abundance of views and moments. Lynne is also very communicative and attentive. Dog friendly. Overall a delightful stay!

My stay at The Venice Love Lodge was great! On nice quiet street it was easy for me and my two dogs to walk the neighborhood. The Love Lodge is very nice and clean is very well stocked with pans, dishes and utensils so we were able to stay in and cook (Ralph’s grocery store was nearby). Although it has been updated even has usb-c ports at the wall outlet this 1940’s era house was great. The TV has an APPLE TV box and you can log in to your account to watch your content (just remember to log out when you leave). I felt very safe walking around and safe parking on the street. The bicycles are in good working condition and was fun riding around. Personally I preferred a Waymo ride to the Santa Monica pier and Venice Boardwalk (theAI car drove better than some of the other rides shares and was slightly cheaper. Overall had a great time and will do again when I can. Thank you Arron and Monica for the use of the Venice Love Lodge.

Hollie’s place is a great spot to stay in Venice! The Lincoln Ave neighborhood is nice and chill with access to lots of great shops and grocery stores (Ralph’s is right across the road, Whole Foods up 7th is particularly great too!). And woah, the kitchen! The appliances were sparkling new and made meals easy. Hollie’s home is on a quiet street, and safely behind two keypad gates, so it felt like our little oasis for a combo work/vacation visit, especially with a small dog in tow. Hollie went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and we really appreciated that! Looking forward to coming back someday soon!

We really liked Romans place.. great location.. we walked everywhere.. the shower could have done with a better clean lots of mould in it... I had a crack at it... I'm a clean freak so I guess I'm a bit over the top with my cleanliness... the wind screams up the outside hallway so it's sounds like someone is talking to you... when they're not Lol... not a concern just so others know they aren't going crazy!! Could do with better blinds in the bedroom it's so bright in there in the morning... overall we liked it here alot! Loved that there was a washer and dryer and a car space... the instructions to get in and where to park were the best instructions we have ever received... thanks for having us Roman! :-)

We loved staying at Teresa’s beach house. It is just a ~10 min walk to the beach and accessible to anything one might need. We are grateful to have such a nice stay that is also dog friendly. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay again in the future.

Spencer’s place looked like the photos and had everything I needed for a few days of working from home! The kitchen is stocked with whatever you might need to cook a meal. Comfortable furniture and nice shower. The neighborhood is nice and safe to walk around, close to a few different coffee and restaurant spots. Would return!

I had a wonderful stay peaceful, comfortable, and even better than expected. The space was just as described, if not more charming in person. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful Santa Monica home. The location is absolutely perfect – just a walk to the shops, and restaurants, yet still quiet and peaceful at night. The house was sparkling clean, stylishly decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One thing I really appreciated was the extra cleaning service provided after a week – it made such a difference and showed great attention to guest comfort. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and were super helpful with parking, which made everything so much easier. I felt very welcome from the moment I arrived and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Clara and David’s home was everything I thought it would be and more! Loved the privacy and the neighborhood was beautiful with lots of stores, bars, and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend the space to anyone visiting LA!

The place was super clean and had everything we needed. Maggie was super responsive whenever we had a question. We felt right at home. We enjoyed the privacy and how safe we felt.

Johnny was a great host. The house is located in a nice neighborhood and is walking distance to a decent diner (Nat's). home was clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils, huge fridge, and stove if you plan on cooking. Yard was a nice play to relax and the swimming pool was very clean. Samsung TVs were in almost every room in the home. The home is a nice location for large families or groups, although my stay was short it I enjoyed my stay with my friends. Would recommend.

Charlotte’s place was super cute and so peaceful. We loved the outdoor area. It did not feel like we were in the heart of LA. The host was great, very good communication . Great stay, I would recommand it.

Such a lovely cottage with beautiful landscaping. Easy to get in and out. Quiet. Michael was a great host and welcomed us when we arrived. The welcome sign was a special touch!

We want to say a huge thank you to these unbelievable hosts. Their house is incredible, they were very fast to respond to all inquiries, we desperately needed a crib and they came over to put one together for us. Deborah was an amazing host to deal with, very clear and accommodating. The house itself was a wonderful place in a great location so no complaints whatsoever. We had a wonderful weekend birthday trip for my daughter's 6th birthday to Universal Studios, and this place was perfect for our stay, just about 10 minutes away from the park. There were five of us in total. The six-year-olds shared the XL full bed with me, my mom was comfortable in one of the other beds, and my stepson had his own single bed. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool on Friday when we arrived. Since we were mostly out and about, it was the perfect spot to come home to and rest. The girls absolutely adored Patrick's son's cat, Poppies, such a sweet and gentle kitty! Patrick was there to greet us at check-in and gave us a tour of the space. He was very kind, welcoming, and available if we needed anything. Thank you so much, Patrick, for your hospitality!
