Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wellington

Large and spacious house with a huge kitchen. We loved our time at Liz’s place.

I booked at the very last minute at 6:30pm on the night and the host responded so quickly. I am so grateful because this old house is very unique with plenty of history. Awesome views that you never get tired of. Walking distance to every where. Be aware there are a lot of stairs to get to the property and bedrooms rooms up on 2nd level so if you have old or bad legs this could be a problem. Not a problem for me at all though & I am nearly 60. Thanks for a great stay and sharing your family home with me.

We really enjoyed our stay here and particularly loved the cosy wood burner and the incredible view, with the sound of waves. Paekakariki is a perfect and relaxing holiday destination. We didn’t want to leave!

Siammone’s property was in a great location to walk to the beach and to shops and restaurants. The road is not busy and there is plenty of parking. The house is clean, tidy and homelike with everything you need. The fire was wonderful and made it cozy when cooler. Siammone is a perfect host - very helpful in all ways including supplying anything we needed, providing flexibility and extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you ! I highly recommend this wonderful place and it suited our family with small children.

Beautiful home located uphill. The beds were comfortable and the open space downstairs was nice. The room upstairs was very spacious and had spectacular views. It is quite steep to get up so parking can be challenging. Overall our family had an enjoyable weekend and the space was perfect for us.

Excellent stay, quality linen responsive and flexible host we flew in early and she was happy with early check in, made a significant refund cause coffee machine wasn’t working such amazing service tidy house, excellent facilities and a very warm house would recommend.

Loved my stay here. It really felt like a classic Kiwi Bach The beds were really comfortable and all the linen was high quality. Scott was very friendly and kind. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay and close to everything we needed it to be. easy ealks to shops, restaurants and the beach. Very comfortable bed and living area set-up was great. Very impressed.

We had a great time at Sue’s apartment. It was in a good location - note that it is in the city and there is the usual city noise during the night. The beds are very comfortable. (It would have been good to see a photo of the steepish stairs up to the two mezzanine bedrooms so we could plan a bit before arriving). The fire was wonderful and the kitchen was well appointed with quality appliances. Happy to recommend but it is important to note that there is only one bathroom. We didn’t think it would work for 6 couples. Overall we had great time and enjoyed the apartment.

Amazing B&B in a great location! Place was immaculate and we loved the sauna and steam shower. Great location. Walkable to a lot of bars, breweries, restaurants, and grocery store. Sally was extremely helpful with local recommendations. Instructions were clear, easy to follow, and thorough. Highly recommend this place!

Sally provided a place that exceeded our expectations. we had an absolutely wonderful time and can't fault her. As a Wellington resident for 14 years who booked it for his parents while they were travelling I can't recommend this enough. It's exactly what you need if you are here for a visit or a medium term stay. Thanks Sally!

Alexandra and Matt are very welcoming, as their house and their garden, also Frankie the cat. For us this wonderful place was the perfect start for our new zealand round trip. We are a family of 4 who had just moved to Wellington from overseas. We stayed here for 2.5 months. Place was a great set up. Lovely to live in. Close to things and was a cute little character home. Price was great considering it was a long stay and the owners were so supportive of us. Heating was fantastic. Was definitely our favourite airbnb out of the 4 we stayed in during our wellington time. Best value for money. And it had car parking on site - so important. Could fit 2 cars there!!! Would recommend. Plus they gave us a fold out bed so we could sleep our 2 kids in the second bedroom. Very grateful for this airbnb helping us out whilst we found permanent accommodation!

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

Very accurate description on the listing of what it was like to stay with Allie in Wadestown. I was there for a fortnight and became adjusted to the routines yet felt very undisturbed. It really suited my requirements at the time.

So good place to stay

I had a lovely stay at the White Picket Fence in Wadestown. The room was pleasantly warm and very comfortable. The bathroom is large and modern, which was a nice surprise. I was also very impressed with the kitchen—it had everything I needed and was well equipped. The house itself has a charming style that fits perfectly with the Wadestown village atmosphere. The host was very attentive and made check-in easy and welcoming. I also enjoyed seeing Archie, a beautiful dog who always follows her owner around—it added a friendly, homely touch to the stay. The neighborhood is peaceful but still close to the city, making this a great spot for anyone visiting Wellington. I would definitely recommend this place for a quiet, comfortable, and convenient stay.
