Holiday rentals with a fireplace in New Zealand

The house has a million dollar view! From the lounge to the two bedrooms, enjoyed spectacular scenery. The neighborhood is quiet and the night sky is very pretty. Heat pump kept us warm plus Smart TV with Netflix. Convenient 17mims drive to Taupo CBD for dinner. The bathroom is also large with double shower heads. The kitchen pantry is well stocked too.

Lovely stay. The outdoor bath was such a bonus. Clean house with comfy beds and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

This is one of the most beautiful houses I have ever stayed in. Piecful environment, breathtaking views captured so well by the house design. Every corner of the property is an art piece. We are traveling with the family members that arrived from the USA to NZ for the first time, and they were speechless when they saw entire New Zealand beauty from one balcony. Highly recommending! Kitchen is very well equipped, rooms and beds are super comfortable. Felt like staying in s 5 star hotel, but much much better. thanks so much!

This is beyond a 5 star stay. Steve and Silv's place was modern, with esthetics and modern touches that pleases the eye, even in the smallest places. You are situated in such a secluded, private area, with too tier amenities like a fire pit, hot tub, and pizza oven (They even gave us fresh pizza dough!). We even got to feed their alpacas which is such a crazy experience! The sunrise and sunset views are magical. Steve and silv have an oasis here, with multiple things that you can do right as you step foot out of the property. They even have a wood shop with stunning items. Thank you Steve and Silv, we'll be back soon, I'm sure anyone reading this will say the same after they experience the magic!

We had a great time. Would stay here again any time we are in the area. Very peaceful.

Glenn was fantastic and a great host! He greeted us with umbrellas when it was raining heavy and also drove us to town to get our rental car. Glenn went out of his way to make us feel so welcomed.

Manuka vista was awesome We hoped to do stargazing and we were lucky enough to get clear skies It was incredible The fire was cosy The house was well appointed Close to get to mt cook etc Highly recommended.

This is an absolutely charming apartment to stay in and we enjoyed it immensely. Lynne is the perfect host - warm and welcoming but also attentive to our needs. There was a selection of goodies when we arrived and she baked the most amazing fresh muffins for us the following morning. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with an inspiring collection of furniture and framed photographs. There is also a bookcase with a discerning and eclectic collection of books if you’re interested in reading- which I was. The real highlight of the apartment is the view. There is wide, expansive view of Auckland’s harbour and you are not overlooked by any of the neighbouring houses. Sitting there on the super comfy couch, with a cup of tea while looking out on the water is simply bliss. Overall, this a marvellous place to stay and simply on a higher level to many other similar apartments. We highly recommend it and will certainly come back.

Is this little slice of paradise had to be summed up in one word.. it would be Stunning. Stu has gone above and beyond to create an aesthetically pleasing yet warm space, thoughtfully decorated and appointed. Get ready to leave your stay rejuvenated and relaxed!

Loved the place. It was exactly as described and better than I could imagine. Everything was easy and smooth. Lyndal is always there to help you with anything. Overall, great way to make our Queenstown trip memorable.

Oh where do I begin…Sararose and Jules family has the most charming apartment nested in an incredible mountain valley. But what touched my heart was how everything was designed and built in this apartment, and I really mean EVERYTHING. From the fully equipped and stocked kitchen to the cozy fire place, to the spotless bathroom, everything is thoughtfully placed and made by hand. Craftsmanship can be felt everywhere. It’s such a warm welcoming space inside out. The window seat is no joke, exactly as shown on the photos. Come here, you will find everything you will ever need, inside out.

Love the ambience, incredible and convenient location with stunning views. The place was super cozy and had a very homey vibe. Toilet floors are heated which is something that we did not know we needed haha - mind blowing. This airbnb blew our expectations out of the water.

We had a fantastic 3 nights enjoying the views and character of Julie's place, very friendly with lots of locals tips and would definitely like to revisit with the family !

Great place, just as the picture described. Runs like a hotel. Fantastic view (always great on the Fernhill side). The fireplace was easy to use and the perfect setting next to the courtyard. We had infant so the high chair, cot was very helpful. Spacious interiors - large kitchen where you can have multiple people doing things, large and spacious bathroom. Large dining table is great and also good for groups to play board games. Would definitely stay again. Very impressed.

Beautiful cosy place to stay, nice and warm; clean place, and comfortable beds. Nice added benefit of a spa to enjoy and nice area outside too. It was a relatively good price for a three bedroom place with spa, firepit and kitchen facilities, but note that the price increases per number of guests per night, which is not easy to see on the website, hence the score for that. So check if having guests on different nights to work out costings with contact person in advance. Extremely great communications, fast and clear responses. This house is amazing - perfect for several couples, with plenty of space, including a great kitchen and several living areas. Nicki made us feel very welcome by lighting the woodburner before our arrival and leaving several lights on (most appreciated). The location is superb only a few minutes to great coffee. I would highly recommend this place and would like to rebook in the future.

Everything is just perfect. I love this house.

I stayed at David’s with my husband and mum and dad and it was perfect! Really spacious with comfy beds and lounge area and a view to die for. Catching the bus into town was only $2 and left from the end of the street, there were also restaurants and bars within walking distance which we loved. Recommend this place if you’re looking for a spacious and comfortable base to explore Queenstown from.

We had a great stay as a group of friends. Perfect for our needs with a well equipped house with everything for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended. Beautiful old but warm house!

We have just come home from a fabulous 2 nights in Wainui at Caro's house. We were 7 Ladies. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were super comfy and warm. The weather was horrendous for our weekend, but that didn't matter at all. The views over the Akaroa Heads with the weather coming in was spectacular. Caro had lit the fire for us for our arrival which was very much appreciated. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a dining table in the kitchen area as well as the lounge room. The hydrangea's in the garden are beautiful. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back. We would love to arrange a summer vacation so we can sit out on the verandah in the sun. Highly recommend Caro's house. Thank you Caro. Your communication was excellent and we really appreciated the late check out.
