Holiday rentals with a kayak in Wealden District

Ader has provided a lot of information about the house, surrounding area and local recommendations since we made the booking. She is always responsive and helpful. The house is at a great location, walkable distance to Richmond center and bus & train station. The surrounding area is fascinating, bunch of parks around and not to mention the riverside. House condition is great and you have everything you needed. Overall a very pleasant experience, highly recommended to group of 4-6 to spend some quality time around Richmond.

Such a lovely place and prefect for families! House and garden was ideal for us. It felt really homely and had loads for the kids to do. Children loved the table tennis, boat in the garden, train set and most of all the tortoise! Well equipped house in a fantastic location and Mandy was a great host! Wish we could have stayed longer!

A lovely cozy beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Very convenient to travel to London. The Neighbourhood is nice with lots of restaurants and open spaces. Hampton court, river Thames all are few meters around. Ziggy, the house cat is almost an ideal cat. Kids loved having him around. Totally recommend this place. Thanks Alex and family

Perfect for what we needed! An escape from the city. Peaceful surroundings and lots to do at the house (sauna, zip wire, badminton nets, football goals, etc)

This was the best holiday experience ! It was such a tranquil and beautiful setting we were instantly relaxed and felt at home. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and everything was perfect, really couldn't wish for more. The bed was comfy, with amazing views of the river as soon as you opened your eyes. The decor was tasteful and chic, it felt very upmarket and spotless. All in all a super five star experience with friendly and dedicated hosts, we will definitely return.

What a great find! We were a family group of 9 including 2 young children, the house was definitely big enough to accommodate us all with spacious rooms, a stunning kitchen area, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean bathrooms/en suite. The kids enjoyed all the games on offer, especially the ping pong table. Tony was a real hit too. Susie is a great host, offering great local advice/recommendations and was so kind to allow us an early check-in. We had 3 cars with our party but only permits for 2 cars however Susie's lovely neighbour happened to be around when we were deciding what to do with the 3rd car and offered us some of her additional permits for a small amount of money, this allowed us to all be parked outside the property with no concern about moving the cars, it really was a bonus. I would recommend this lovely house to any large group, close to beach and shops and Brighton town centre.

We had a lovely stay recently- perfect for families and the kids had so much fun in the garden area and on the beach. The rain was shame bit the window panel and locataion meant even a rainy day was made beautiful! Great local suggestions and easy to get into town in a 10 min drive. We would come again!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your gorgeous cottage. It was the perfect venue and location for time away with friends. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing break. The extra touches, like milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and toiletries, are very thoughtful. We recommend this cottage for anyone looking to visit the area and we would be very happy to stay again.

Where to start! The house is an old world charmer with all mod cons (and some not so mod ones that make it perfect). The owner couldn’t have been more helpful if she tried. Lots of local info, quick to respond before we booked and always helpful after. The house is the best kind of wonky, lovely beams and lots of space. Local shops and restaurants cater for all tastes & the local parking is plentiful and safe. 10000007% recommend this gorgeous home as a place to rest, relax & enjoy yourself. A great place to come and stay easy to find really good.Carol was a amazing host very welcoming from start to finish and very helpful though out are stay. Very comfy beds loads of choices for breakfast. Will definitely stay again in the future.

This was the first of a few stays during the next couple of months at this beautiful little cottage. Mary and Angus were very friendly and welcoming, the cottage is in a lovely location enjoying views across the fields. We are already looking forward to returning for our next stay in a couple of weeks time.

We absolutely loved Willow Tree Cottage! We felt at peace and right at home. The area is beautiful and definitely one for nature lovers. There is a local pub very close which is wonderful too! Bizou became part of our family and we loved taking care of her. She was so sweet and playful. Overall, we were very happy and relaxed in the home. I highly recommend Willow Tree Cottage!

Absolutely beautiful cabin, surroundings and location. The cabin had everything you could need, kettle, tea,fresh coffee, candles, little table ,marshmallows for toasting on the fire pit... outside fairy lights, outdoor table n log chairs were awesome ..soft towels, super comfy large bed, heater, ..waking up and hearing the birds singing and ducks on the lake was so Therapeutic and serene. Our large chill deerhound was so comfy on his bed in the cabin. Clean toilets and lovely shower, great cafe where we ate both mornings vegan and veggie breakfasts ... delicious 😋 Highly recommend and I'm sure we will return again one day. Jonny was lovely and we wish him all the best with his Airbnb adventures ✌️✨🙏

Our stay here was fantastic and peaceful but perfectly located to take a trip to RHS wisley. We sat down by the river one evening and watched the wildlife quiet and relaxing stay would recommend

Little Hawthorn is absolutely stunning. Such attention to detail, Gary and Shona forgot nothing, everything you needed and more was there. Immaculate throughout and extremely comfortable. We loved it! A very generous welcome basket on arrival at Little Hawthorn, just what you need after a long journey. A lovely touch and very much appreciated. I cannot praise Gary and Shona enough as hosts, chuffed to have found their beautiful little property. I will definitely return. Thanks again, Lou and James x

I rented Daniel's place for the weekend of my proposal to my partner and I could not have asked for a better location. The view from the cabin was amazing offering amazing views of the seven sisters and the sea which if you wanted you could also witness an amazing sunrise from the sea. The cabin and house offered incredible aesthetically pleasing designs. Daniel was a great host and offers a massive range of activities like surfboards, BBQ and a cinema room. Daniel also gave great suggestions of the surrounding area. Brighton is only a half an hour drive away and the local towns were great, we visited Lewes and they had great shops, pubs and cafes. This stay was a great unique experience and definitely worth staying here.

I loved my stay at Alex's place, it was so peaceful and relaxing. Alex could not have been more helpful. I was a little unsure of finding it as I arrived quite late but the directions that Alex provided were excellent. I'd definitely stay again.
