We really loved our stay at The Regent. It was super clean and comfortable, perfectly situated to explore Rye and has nice little bar inside. We will definitely be staying there next time we visit.

Only stayed one night for next day flight out of Gatwick but loved this small town. Place is only a few minutes to the airport and Quasim gave us a ride for a very reasonable fee. Booked the 4 bed room and felt more spacious than what I imagined from the pictures. Bathroom was so pristine and new looking. Horley is such a cute town. Ate at Foresters for the night and the food was amazing. Also did one of the escape and my group had so much fun! Would have loved to spend more time in this town.

Awesome location, Melanie is an amazing host! So welcoming, and the breakfast was wonderful! The common area is also nice and the rooms are quaint. I didn’t want to knock a star for these few things, but just to inform: 1) the walls are quite thing; if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise (can hear surroundings) 2) was unfortunately quite hot; the fan isn’t super strong and the window doesn’t catch a good breeze so in the summer it’s definitely toasty at night Overall though really appreciate the hospitality 🙏 thank you for everything

We loved staying at the Regent! From initial booking Sara was so responsive, checking the week before about our arrival time. When we arrived check in was really simple and we were given lots of great recommendations in Rye. Such a great location,, two minutes from Rye station and right by the main high street with lots of restaurants and shops. The room is cosy but all you need for a couple nights away, super comfy beds and clean bathroom and main room. Check out really simple and were able to leave our bags in reception so we could go explore. Would recommend to anyone visiting Rye for a weekend!

Lovely room and fantastic breakfast. It was lovely to meet Melanie and the whole place had a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

A very comfortable stay in an absolutely stunning setting. We very much appreciated Victoria's hospitality and excellent breakfasts in the sunny garden. Thanks to the unusually warm weather the outdoor pool was still open for use - an excellent facility if you're a proper swimmer. Refreshing swims and the separate pool changing and shower room really added to our stay.

The lodge is located in a beautiful corner of East Sussex and the owners have created an equally beautiful place to enjoy as a retreat and comfortable place to recharge yourself. Everything is as described and then a bit better too. The owners and staff doing everything possible to make you welcome and happy. Highly recommend.

Jon was very welcoming and our South Stable accommodation was lovely - clean, uncluttered, stylishly done out with quality furnishings and appealing rustic touches. We didn't have time to go walking, but the adjoining countryside was scenic. Proximity to great produce outlets, castles and gardens makes it an excellent base for a few days' touring in East Sussex and Kent.

You have to rate different kinds of places in different way. I've given five stars to other places because they were in exquisite buildings or had ravishing views or heavenly breakfasts. This doesn't tick those kinds of boxes, but it's a really good, convenient hotel and (at the introductory rate I had) it was really good value. Best of all, it had one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in.

Norman's holiday home exceeded all of our expectations. Clean, comfortable and basically just on the beach in Pevensey. Also a short walk to Pevensey Bay and to Sovereign Harbour. I cannot recommend this holiday home enough. Thank you Norman and Julie.

A dream place! One of the best airbnb’s we have ever stayed. The place is so peaceful and beautiful we can’t recommend enough. It is very clean and beautifully designed. You have everything you look for in a stay. The pool, the garden, the breakfast all amazing. Thank you Victoria for hosting us. We loved your place and would recommend it to everyone!

Took my mum for a belated Mother’s Day trip and couldn’t be happier with the place! The most beautiful views, lovely clean rooms and to top it off the most friendly host Victoria. We lucked out with the weather so the pool was an amazing addition, definitely wish we did more than 1 night! 10/10

Absolutely stunning!! The views were lovely and incredibly picturesque. The wisteria was in full bloom and really added to how beautiful this place was. The bed, the bath, and all amenities were lush. Chloe, the receptionist that checked us in was incredibly sweet and helpful. Felt so welcomed and the area was great, about half hour walk from the Pantiles. Highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future!

Basic but clean little hostel above a nice pub - not The Ritz but no one is expecting that! Quiet night and comfy bed despite sharing a room with two others. Great value and good if you just need a basic place to stay

Loved the month spent there

I had a late booking and late check in, regardless, Mark was very responsive and accommodating even the staff. Checking in and check out was smooth. Even on a short stay, it was great! It was just close to everything.

I, my husband and my dog stayed over night, very tranquil, peaceful. The bungalow was clean, loved the personal touches Thank you 😊. cake was great 👍🏽 . had an amazing sleep, met Ellie briefly, very polite and tentative. thank you
