Holiday rentals with lake access in Washtenaw County

This is our 3rd (or 4th) time renting and it won't be our last! House is always clean and nicely appointed. Last visit was pre-covid so its been too long. House has fresh paint and carpet - looked better than ever. Dan & Liz doing a nice job of keeping the house with a fresh lake vibe. Great place to relax and enjoy the lake!

We held our Annual EMU friend reunion here so we would have a place to hang out after touring, going to a game, and visiting our old stomping grounds. Chris is a gracious host with a beautiful lake home. Unfortunately, 3 members of our group had medical issues which interfered with their being able to stay, which affected our cost, but we all said it was still worth dividing their portions up and paying the extra. The home is well appointed and stocked with wonderful kitchen amenities. We cooked 3 meals and had a great time in that kitchen. The sleeping spaces were very comfortable and the entire house was nice and clean. Thank you for all you do to make this Airbnb a home away from home!

Thanks Steven for hosting my family and their friends. Everyone enjoyed the ride around the lake on the pontoon boat that you skippered…very considerate. Great location lake-side and a most relaxing weekend had by all. Hope to be able to visit again. Jim

We had a great time! The hot tub and bar area downstairs was perfect for us. The bathrooms were immaculate and there were plenty of towels to go around. The kitchen has basically anything you need to cook or grill!

The house was very spacious. Updated kitchen with everything you need to cook (which we did almost every meal). The downstairs entertainment area was great!

I would 100% recommend Valerie's adorable cottage. Clearly she's been at this for a while because no detail was left out. Her home was incredibly comfortable with a beautiful design and PLENTY of space for hanging out and enjoying the lake no matter the weather. We were there in the fall and it was a perfect location to take in the autumn colors. Nestled in among several cute towns, our daily drives took us through beautiful countryside with lots of options for local dining and shopping. Valerie was quick to respond to my questions and even went the extra mile with a request or two. If you're pondering a stay here, I say do it!

10/10 recommend this place! It could not have been more perfect for my sister’s camp themed bachelorette party. Beautiful home with a massive yard for games. Kiara was also great and super responsive. Would definitely come back!

The home was such a lovely getaway for our family of 4. Our teens enjoyed the waterfront with the fishing gear and kayaks. My husband loved the close access to trails. I appreciated the comfortable mattresses, quiet nights and incredibly peaceful mornings on a quiet lake. The kitchen had what we needed to make pancakes and crepes and we used the grill to host local friends for dinner. It was the perfect end of summer getaway for us all!

Jason is a GREAT HOST. Been here a couple times and will come back again.

This is my second time staying on the property, the first being the upstairs and this time I stayed in the newly renovated downstairs. The location is absolutely perfect and the apartment feels like home. Tim and his family are so nice and this is truly one of my favorite Airbnb rentals!

Great spot.. small, quaint, peaceful.. little creek and patio.. Not a lot of room but everything that's needed for one and his pup.. A stones throw to a great main street and super restaurants ..

Beautiful place to visit. The studio was super clean, inviting and so comfortable. The view was beautiful- waking up to the sunrise every morning. A stone's throw to the beach, which was very clean and well kept. A great getaway for downtime and privacy. Not a lot to do other than the beach, but a state park only 15 minutes away. Would definitely book this place again!

We are so happy that we came across this spot. It was absolutely perfect and Rosemary and Doug couldn’t have been more welcoming. We felt right at home. Enjoyed a lot of fishing and peaceful kayaking trips in the morning. Our son loved the tree house and game room. But most of our time was spent on the dock. We had perfect vacation.

This studio is located on top of the garage of another occupied home that is by the water. The landscaping of the home below is beautiful and well kept! You can view the water from the back yard of the occupied home or take a very short walk to Luna Pier, which we did every day. The appliances in the studio are nice, and the place was clean. Thank you!

Very nice place. Very clean and loved the massage chairs! Bed was super cozy. Didn’t use the basement but for someone with kids it would make a great play area. The view outside was woodsy and we watched a momma woodpecker feed her babies in a nest right across from the front door. There was coffee and tea. Drove down to Walled Lake and it is gorgeous. Overall very good stay!

Overall, we had a great experience! It was just as described. Meredythe was very hospitable and accommodating. I appreciated her making me and my guests feel at home. I really enjoyed kayaking on the beautiful lake. Also the adorable pups were a bonus to our stay ❤️ I would recommend booking it out🙂

Terry is very helpful, responsive, caring, and proactive. I enjoyed his place a lot and will recommend for any out of town guests. It’s very cozy, clean, and well-decorated. It was a perfect place for me to stay; close to the lake, restaurants, and shopping. Thank you for everything!

Perfect place to stay - very clean and has great amenities. Plenty of open room in the house with an awesome backyard space. Enjoyed our stay, would return for another trip. Thank you to the hosts.

Judy's place was great she was one of the best hosts I've had on Airbnb. whenever we had a question she was quick to respond. It was clean and the hot tub was amazing with nature all around. First place I will look for when we come back to the area.

Lori was incredibly accommodating for every part of our stay. Lori's place was like getting VIP service. She had tons of local recommendations, everything was labeled and she had everything you may possibly need for your stay. Lori even delivered us some local donuts during one day of our stay! The sleep number bed was nice, but if you're use to a thicker mattress (like I am) keep in mind that the mattress is a little on the thinner side. Still comfortable though. We will definitely be booking here again on our next trip through.

This was the second time staying at Fran's place and we had a great stay. Fran's cottage is super cozy and well-appointed, with everything you need for cooking, whether you are preparing a simple meal or having a big BBQ. The couch is comfy and the beds are too. Since the front room window of Fran's cottage has an up close view of a small, uninhabited woody island, we didn't have to go very far for morning birdwatching! The cottage is in a small, quiet neighborhood and it feels very calm and far away from busy city life. However it's not a long drive to Detroit or other big cities/towns. We had some amazing canoe and kayak paddles on the lake and enjoyed seeing all the wildlife. The cottage is right on the water, so launching was simple. We especially appreciated that Fran took the extra time to leave nice snacks and coffee, much appreciated after a long trip.

Had a great stay. Made frequent use of the kayaks/canoe that were provided to get out and enjoy the beautiful lake. Seven adults in our group and we had plenty of room and comfortable accommodations. Debra is an excellent host and we would not hesitate to book with her again.

Amazing place! Even better than expected! Although it says no AC, they have a little AC unit next to the couch and it makes the whole place so cool! We brought fans and didn't even need to use them. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water were truly breathtaking. I also wanted to mention how I love that we were able to spend it with our puppy, kind of rare to find a nice waterfront like this that allows animals! We will definitely be back next summer.
