We had such a great stay at John’s place in Birregurra. The old school house has so much charm—neat, cozy, and just felt really welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was perfect for our group of two couples, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. We especially loved spending time in the big front and backyards, soaking up the peaceful country vibe. There’s also a lot to see and do around the area, which made for a fun little getaway. John was a fantastic host—super friendly and helpful, and made everything really easy. We’d definitely come back!

A last minute request met with warm hospitality. The cottage was warm, ambient, with classical music playing in the background and a heated bed with the electric blanket. Whilst it rained the whole time, my little dog and I enjoyed the peaceful retreat and braved the rain for a walk to the near by shops. The location is perfect with everything at your door steps. Tony and Graeme are fantastic hosts. The fresh fruit bowl was generous and the abundant books, games, DVDS were enough to want to stay in and chill. Very lucky to have found this home away from home.

We very much enjoyed this charming home and found the beds comfortable and the wood stove cozy. Thank you, Cris, for making our stay so lovely.
