Tolkien fan or not, you'll love this stay! Easy to find, in a beautiful part of the country and so close to such lovely countryside/activities. Loved the chicken visits! Used the smoker to bake a camembert - big recommend! Hot tub was a lovely addition and such a treat. Outdoor shower not in use but we didn't mind at all, we survived with the big sinks! Incredibly private - loved sitting in the sun in the garden and listening to the birds. Super comfy bed! Plenty of wood & firelighters. Nice treats supplied like beers/eggs/milk! :) We would love to return!

Absolutely loved our stay, such a beautiful peaceful place. Jamie is a super friendly person, and made us feel so welcome. So much wildlife as well, from a kingfisher to the regular grey wagtails and stunning setting, the vineyards and walk around the house was lovely. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Delightful little cottage with a gorgeous garden and surroundings. Due to the SatNav and phone reception you can go around the houses when you first go there - but it's ok once you know where you are going. Lyn does provide written directions but the lure of SatNav was too much for us (which was a mistake!). If you follow Lyns directions you will be fine. The cottage was perfect throughout well presented with lots of nice touches. Very clean everything worked as it should. We were very happy during our stay. Lyn and Fred were great hosts very kind and helpful and recommended places to visit. We intend to come back as it was such a great place to be.

Lovely place and location. Nice views, plenty of stunning locations to visit in the surrounding area. Host always reply’s to messages and are lovely and helpful. I would recommend to anyone for vacation or even for longer stays if you work from home and want a quiet get away. Thank you 🤩
