Nice house and garden, parking is a bit tricky. Great location, a 10 minute drive from Viseu center. Great communication and Catarina speaks perfect English.

We had a very complicated and long trip. Despite all this, Maria remained available at all times and made sure we were the best we could. It's a very peaceful place and after our adventures on our trip, that's all we needed. She was kind and took care of us. Thanks again to Maria and her family:)

Amazing 400 year old home, has always been in the family. The outside garden and pool are beautiful and peaceful. Small town near by with good quaint restaurants . About one hour from Douro Valley by a beautiful drive through back country roads. Highly recommend it

Miguel welcomed us very warmly and showed us the entire place again and said we can always ask him if we need anything. We felt at home from the beginning. The property is beautiful. In addition to the fantastic pool, there are orange and lemons, which we would have freely available during our stay. Miguel was always on hand right away if we needed anything. He went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We liked it there very much. The old cabin has a rustic charm to it ☺️ Thank you for everything, Miguel!

The rooms are exactly as shown in the photos and impeccable in cleanliness. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The pool and barbecue area is super spacious and spectacular for spending a few hours enjoying the sun! Maria was wonderful, super welcoming and communication was always very quick. The house is a 5/10-minute drive from several supermarkets, but the location is in a very quiet area. We highly recommend it!

Fantastic location with stunning views over the vineyards of the Quinta. Hostess speaks good English and Reception was very friendly and personal. Also receive a tour of the Quinta and the wine. Furthermore, Quinta de Fata is a good base to visit various locations. Sierra do Estrella , Seia, Mangualde and Viseu are easy to drive to and definitely worth a visit.

It was everything we were hoping for and more. Linde and Tom were lovely, they invited us to breakfast on our last day. The place is beautiful and taken care of. We would love to stay again

A very comfortable room in a large house with several living spaces. I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Loriga.

It was simply stunning! the house is beautiful and modern, almost nicer than in the photos. the view is right on the vineyards of your own winery (Pata da Burra, great vinho verde!). Alberto offered us a super great private wine tasting, and as a guest of the house you get a special offer for this. He waited for us on the day of arrival and explained the house and also the surroundings to us. Mariana and Cristina responded super quickly and were beyond accommodating. Each of the bedrooms had their own bathroom and access to the front balcony. The pool was nice and clean, the view very idyllic. A small breakfast was even brought to us, which was very loving. My German in-laws family loved the hospitality, we would come back any time! I call that a successful authentic Portuguese experience. Thank you!

Gina is a lovely, more than generous host, striking the perfect balance between giving her guests space and making them feel welcome. The house is great, really comfortable and cozy with lots of space, set in a romantic green valley. We enjoyed every moment of our two week stay, hanging around at home and going to the little villages and towns in the area, as well as the beautiful Serra Estrella. GREAT STAY!

We loved to stay at Ginas peaceful place. The apartment is as described. The view over the fields with the horses is beautiful. The pool is very clean and large enough to swim. Within 30-60 minutes you can reach e.g. Coimbra, Sierra Estrella to walk and see old villages. Gina and her partner are very friendly and open host. We really enjoyed their cordially hospitality.
