We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

The accommodation is simply magnificent. It is in the middle of nature, very quiet and very close to nature. You can hear the birds, the water. It is simply a magical place and perfect for arriving at yourself or enjoying the peace. I loved to meditate or do yoga by the water. I would come back anytime. Thanks so much for the nice days.

Spent 3 nights here and had a beautiful time. Hot tub was a nice touch for the cold winter days. Carlos was extremely sweet and hospitable. Gave us plenty of information about Sever de Vouga and showed us how to get around. Breakfast was served to us everyday at 9am which was a super nice touch. Great way to start the day. Definitely recommend. I'll be going back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Quinta dos Manteiros. The house was clean, well decorated, cozy, comfortable and with excellent indoor and outdoor space. We love our stay and are already thinking about booking in the summer.

Maybe not for everyone but us we experienced the house and surroundings as a little paradise. The house has character and the whole lot around it is beautiful. It is quiet and has lots of space. The pool is real pool, and not an enlarged sort of bath tub. A beautiful view is included. The house is well equipped, everything worked well. The shoreline is a 40+ minute drive and worthwhile visiting. One can walk kilometers on the wooden board walk or bike along. Even to Porto along the shore which is really not far away. It passes Afurada………… you may want to plan a stop there for excellent sea food at a very reasonable price Hiking trails are in the area. Do some smart shopping for groceries and the like at a supermarket, we did not find anything close by. Maybe a minus for some, if you like to go out and enjoy night life nearby, that is a no-go.

It was a fantastic weekend! Marta is an excellent host, always available and friendly. The house is typical of the area, where there was no lack of comfort. The exterior is huge, well treated, with a large pool, surrounded by a large lawn. Repeating for sure !

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

This is a unique place. Nothing compares with it. A small village of picturesque buildings - nevertheless, you do not have to miss anything of modern convenience - with the most beautiful and stunning nature. Amazing and must visit.

An ideal place to rest, relax and enjoy the nature that surrounds you. The house is secluded, but close to a town with all the amenities. The house is inside a very large area; very well-kept, with flowers, fruit trees, trees, etc. The outdoor space of the house is also very well-kept, with good shade to enjoy the outdoors. The pool area is perfect. Shared, but at the same time with a lot of privacy. The saltwater pool is a dream that we will not forget all year round. The house had everything you need. Clean and very well maintained. Ron and Juliet are the perfect hosts. They are present, but without interfering in anything, only to attend to your needs. They gave us tomatoes, raspberries, etc., from their garden, thanks for the salads. A perfect place for the rest and disconnection we needed. The pets are a delight, trained to accompany you without bothering you. Thank you very much for these wonderful days.

We had a very nice stay and the place is quite quiet. As the weather was rainy and cold, the salamander that is in the living room was extremely important, as it warms very well. The kitchen is small, but it is equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, with nothing missing. The house is beautiful inside and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are large and cosy. We did not have the opportunity to meet Francisco, but his father took care of everything that was needed. Thank you very much!

The cozy cottage, suitable for two people, is located just outside the town of Gouveia. Rural. Due to the good description, it was still useful to find. Carlota communicated perfectly. Beautiful covered terrace, and large orchard. Lots of outdoor space, quiet.

Sara’s place was fantastic for a week-long reunion with some friends. It had everything our group needed for the week, and we particularly enjoyed the private pool and sunset views from the deck. The location was great, being right on the river and a 5-10min drive from hiking trails, kayak rentals, great restaurants and local wine tastings. Sara was also very proactive, providing us with local recommendations and clear instructions on how to get there, and being quick to answer any questions we had during the stay. Couldn’t recommend Sara’s place more for anyone looking to spend a weekend or week in the area.

truly immersive accommodation in a small Portuguese village. I really recommend this place. quiet and pleasant. I came to see the WRC race in Portugal and this accommodation was central. The host was really responsive! And the welcome was really warm! i would highly recommend it!

Very nice place for a few days of relaxing with your family. The typical house is tastefully remodeled, a beautiful decoration. The pool is nice and the view is nice (highway nearby but very little car in traffic) The only downside is the terrace around the pool, we were with children and this one is dangerous, slats coming off, nails coming out, you have to be vigilant. The size of the fridge is also a little limited for a space that can hold that many people. For the rest, everything was perfect , exotic, charming.

There were four of us, almost a week at the place and we really enjoyed the time there. The house and the large garden are beautiful. In addition, there is a small creek right by the house where you can cool off when it is hot. In the area you can walk well and there are nice little cafes. Pedro was a helpful and kind host. We highly recommend the house and the place!
