It exceeded our expectations! Great location, very comfortable, wide and clean housing. Dona Rosário was impeccable, always helpful and very nice. We will certainly be back!

We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. A great location in the countryside 45 minutes from Porto and 2 hours from Pinhão. Beautiful scenery , hiking around. Home is on a hill with amazing views of the Douro River. Beautiful outdoor space with outdoor kitchen and a small pool. Excellent for family vacation.

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the moment of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with positive details, thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Without a doubt, an experience to repeat.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

We’ve had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment. Stunning views, nice pool and Pedro is the best Airbnb host you can get. Would love to come back here some day.

We enjoyed our stay. A spacious house, everything you need is present, clean and nice private swimming pool, Arcilio is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommended!!!

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

Hello Mr. Pedro! We would like to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. Richard and Ishbel offer a very special home, allowing you to get off the grid and be surrounded by beautiful nature while also being very close to many amenities - gas, grocery, cafes and restaurants within a 10mins drive. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, and live next door and are very respectful of your privacy and helpful with providing suggestions. They have a large property that is a paradise for kids to explore with rabbits, cats, dogs, ducks and chickens - and even horses across the stream at another property.

Beautiful space inside and out! You can really tell a lot of pride is taken with the upkeep and maintenance! Our stay was so peaceful and the pool area is beautiful! I would even go as far as to say that the property looks better than the photos!

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Very cozy house with everything you need to spend a few days with family or friends. I totally recommend it.

I so enjoyed my stay in this stunning stone house built by the host's direct relatives! I was truly charmed by the soft tinkling of goats' bells in the pasture, the adorable village dog known and loved by all, a private porch, a crackling fire on a chilly night. This village and it's people are really special, experimenting with organic farming and regularly offering multi-generational events. I was even invited to a village party that included impromptu music, singing and dancing. Self-taught musicians played accordians, guitars and ukuleles while their neighbors & relatives danced. If I moved to Portugal (I wish I could!) I would want to vacation here for a month every year. It's a perfect spot for a writer's retreat, quiet reflection or uninterrupted time together as a couple. The kitchen is a fully functional kitchen, with all the pots, pans, implements and appliances you could possibly need to prepare and serve a meal for 10 (even an immersion blender!)

Very clean and tidy house, fragrant With plenty of fresh air and ample space, I recommend it for total relaxation. It could have a pool in the house, it was ideal for a summer vacation

The house was very clean and corresponds exactly to what is shown in the advertisement and photographs. Communication with Inês was always quick and effective. Check-in is simple, fast and autonomous. Check-out until 10 pm is a great added value. The location is good, in a calm and quiet area. Very positive experience, I recommend it!

This is the second time we visit this paradise! it's so beautiful there, the lake in front of the house, the forest behind the house. So much peace there. If you need some time to relax or enjoy peaceful moments with your family or friends, this is the place for you!

We enjoyed our stay at Rodrigo's place as it is in a quiet neighbourhood just a short walk downhill into town with its beautiful river and a nice little selection of restaurants and a lovely therma spa. The unit itself is the ground floor of a larger house with a shared pool, which was a surprise, but it was still fairly private and we loved making use of the outdoors terrace for eating outside. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the rest of the apartment was very clean and had excellent showers with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. All around a great option for our two young families and we would most certainly recommend Rodrigo to other travelers.
