Beachfront holiday rentals in Villefranche-sur-Mer

Honestly, this was probably the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at — and we’ve stayed in many across different countries. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the Côte d’Azur, just book this one. I spent over a week researching options, so I know pretty well what’s out there in this area, and I’m happy we ended up choosing this one. The location is amazing — literally one step from the beach. There’s a big grocery store right across the street, an underground parking garage, and a really nice infinity pool in the complex. The apartment itself is super well-equipped — everything is modern, from the blackout curtains to the shower. Villeneuve-Loubet turned out to be a great spot — calm and relaxing, but also perfect as a base to explore the French Riviera, Monaco, and even Italy (about 1.5 hours by car). Corinne was also a fantastic host — always quick to respond (usually within 5 minutes) and really helpful whenever we had a question. Highly recommended — we would love to come back!

Excellent accommodation, very warm and responsive hosts. The location is ideal, there is a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, a great beach nearby. The house has everything for a super-comfortable life. Everything is very high quality and well organized.

Our stay at Nice’s place was an absolute joy! Nice has been one of the most responsive and friendly host that I’ve ever meet. You can tell that he really cares for the space, and its guests. The location of this space is ideal. You’re away from the hustle and bustle of Old Nice, but just a quick (and I mean quick) tram ride into town. Most nights we would take the tram into town and walk back. The beach is just a stones throw from the space too. Nice had all of the amenities you’d need for a beach day: chairs, towels, and an umbrella! You can’t beat it. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to friends.

Luciana, is one of the most amazing and thoughtful people I have ever met. She is incredibly kind and always there to help and advise. She made our dream honeymoon a reality and made us fall in love with France all over again. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality Luciana, we will never forget you! We hope to return for our anniversary. Luciana’s apartment is like walking into a fairytale, the surroundings and location is incredible - words cannot describe the beauty. We felt so at peace.

Beautiful apartment and perfect for our needs!

Lovely stylish and comfortable loft style apartment in the heart of the Old Town. Couldn’t be closer to restaurants and the beach. Historic building and very central location so certain compromises necessary (eg no lift so few flights of stairs to negotiate and bit of late evening noise from outside) but that’s all made clear in the property description and not really a big deal. Clear comprehensive and speedy communication from host Therese at all times.

We had a great stay at the apartment. It was spacious enough for four adults, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Kevin is a great host—friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Excellent pleasant and clean accommodation with direct access to the sea and a very nice rooftop pool. The location is also great next to the Baie des Anges. Finally, Kevin is an exceptional host, very pleasant and helpful. we will gladly return 😀

This Airbnb surpassed all expectations! The garden is designed like a fairy tale paradise, with hydrangeas and lush trees artfully arranged—every corner is worthy. The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling ocean views are breathtaking, waking up to the soothing sound of waves in the morning and falling asleep under the glow of sunset in the evening. It was the perfect finale to our island getaway.

Wow, Villefranche exceeded my expectations as did Ilia’s hospitality! The apartment is clean and beautiful, with stunning views throughout. Ilja gave us many helpful tips so we felt right at home in Villefranche. We walked everywhere, and Ubers were easy to call if our feet were too tired. The restaurants, waterfront, and exploring is excellent! We didn’t want to stay in busy Nice, and are so so glad we chose Villefranche! We hope to return!!

Overall, a clear recommendation for this accommodation! Great location to explore the Côte d'Azur and very nice host. The view from the terrace is really very nice, only the adjacent street is a bit noisy - but otherwise not disturbing. Unfortunately, a later check out did not work, otherwise everything was wonderful.

I honestly can’t say anything was wrong with this place! We loved Seb’s apartment, it has everything you need and it’s so nice to be close to the beach. Not only that, but the view is amazing! Seb is an excellent host, super responsive, and has great recommendations!

Fantastic stay! The host was super responsive and really accommodating—made everything so easy. The place is in a perfect spot for day trips to Menton, Monaco, Nice, and surrounding areas. Super comfy, with a great view and the bonus of having a pool right there was amazing. Everyone in the building was friendly too, which made it feel even more welcoming. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again!

Awesome view! What's more, Marjorie's welcome, the cleanliness of the apartment, the splendid view day and night from the terrace was perfect! Quiet is at the rendezvous, birdsong, walking location for a family and stroller ride. Our 8 year old daughter will keep a very good memory, we had a great time at home. Being accompanied by our 6-month-old baby, in the evenings, we were able to fully enjoy the terrace after sleeping it. All the cooking utensils were there, as we dine at the apartment every night. Towels are present in the 2 bathrooms (1 shower and 1 bathtub available) Board games as well as books for good evenings;-) Thanks for everything Marjorie, We'll be back for sure!

Viveka’s place was truly magical. We had an amazing stay overlooking the beautiful water. The location is perfect, very easy to explore nearby towns and cities by the train. Host is very helpful and communicative and we highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had a truly wonderful experience at this villa in Villefranche. The location couldn’t be better—just a short stroll to the heart of town, close to restaurants, shops, and the beautiful coastline with multiple day trips within 30 minutes. The villa itself is stunning: tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the gorgeous views each morning was a highlight, and the terrace was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evenings. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail was just right. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, convenient, and immaculate home base in Villefranche.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath provides a nice stay & it’s right on the water. Whats better than waking up to the sound of the ocean? It’s very convenient as you’re right in town but Villefranche can get busy in summer so the only downside is kids partying on the beach late at night. Sonia the manager is fast & responsive if you have special requests or need help. The train is 4 minute walk from apt. & a little red bus picks up outside near Espuma restaurant so no need to have a car. All in all, a great stay.

Damien’s place is in an extremely beautiful location. The deck and patio are wonderful to have breakfast on in the morning or dinner on at night. It is close to the beach and definitely good for a relaxing stay clean and quiet. Damien was extremely accommodating and even let us have a later check out due to a late flight. Would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants a beach vacation in the south of France.

We had a fabulous time staying at Sarah’s place! The location was incredible, located within 5 minutes of the beach and countless restaurants and shops. Sarah was a very kind and responsive host and her apartment was very sweetly styled and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time staying at François’s home. The location was great being very close to the water and a short distance from old town. The home was in a quiet courtyard, but around the corner from the tram, making for easy transportation throughout the city! Françoise met us at the beginning of our check-in and helped show us around the home, provided us with amazing recommendations and even prepared a gift basket for us to enjoy! Overall, we loved staying at François’s beautiful home and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
