Pedro was very inviting and showed us everything around the house. He provided recommendations for places to go and was always willing to help throughout the trip. The place was wonderful and is perfectly tucked away in the countryside.

The house is very cozy....we loved it... the worst are the stairs....they are difficult . We thought the living room and kitchen was on the same floor...and the bed upstairs. The location and the village we loved it

- The location: Easy and quick to get there, Buitrago de Lozoya is located next to E5. The house is easy to find, and - less during peak shopping hours during the morning - we were always able to park in front of the door (!!). The village is beautiful, it also seemed less of a Sunday excursion destination (like for example Rascafría or El Molar), and more like a normal village, you find restaurants open all week and not only Vi-Sa-1/2Do. And within a radius of less than an hour there are plenty of excursions to different areas in all directions. - The casita: pretty, well equipped, very comfortable bed (so important for tired hikers) La terracita under la parra very relaxing. We were very comfortable, we would have liked to have a few more days...
