Apartment holiday rentals in Venetian Lagoon

This is a really nice place in a calmer and more “local” location of Venice. The views are fantastic of the water, canal, and a gondoliering school outside. Lots of great restaurants nearby with IMO the best views of Venice. Those who know how NJ has the best views of NYC would understand. Be careful coming back from the main island later in the evening as the Vaparettos don’t run the same routes as during the day.

Arrigo’s home was in a good location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle (which we did) It was in a quiet, peaceful and clean location. Arrigo is a great host, when we arrived early he met us at the water bus stop helped us with my suitcase and walked us to his home sharing with us his love for Venice. He kept our suitcases while we walked around and explored until check in time. Once check in time came we walked back, he met us outside and walked us in. He showed us around the apartment and how to work everything. He then pulled out a huge map and marked down anything and everything from restaurants, grocery stores to must see places as well as bus lines to and from different islands. He also made a little handbook for reference of everything he went over with us it was amazing, he’s so organized and we actually referred to his handbook a few times for restaurants. He also left us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco from Vino Vero a must try very close to Airbnb.

We love love loved our stay here! By far the most beautiful space we stayed in on our two week trip to Italy and had everything you need to make you feel right at home. The hosts were so responsive, helpful and understanding when we had delays and were always quick to answer any questions we had about the apartment. The building was beautiful, and peacefully tucked away on Giudecca, which was nice to get a break from the crowds at the end of long travel and sightseeing days. There are some really great restaurants on the island itself, but also a quick vaporetto ride to the more touristy areas. Highly recommend this beautiful place if you're looking to take your stay in Venice to the next level, we would love to come back!

We had a great stay here - being on the canal and watching the gondolas and boats drive by was very neat. The apartment was clean and in a great location. Marco was very responsive, and it was very helpful to be able to book a private taxi through him. Sara, the woman who escorted us to the apartment, was very kind, and she had a google map of restaurant recommendations that we used throughout our trip and loved.

Great location for everything and nice quiet area

Letizia’s apartment was perfect. Tucked away in a quiet spot but minutes away from transport and tourist spots. It was tastefully decorated and well thought out with a well equipped kitchen. The tiny terrace was perfect for sitting out and watching the swallows fly past in the evening. The bed was large and comfortable and there was plenty of space for clothes. Would definitely recommend and we may well return.

Wonderful apartment in a great location! It’s minutes away walking to many tourist attractions and restaurants. The apartment felt very cozy and had everything we needed - from a stocked kitchen, to a laundry machine, to an ironing board and more. The bathroom does have a slight smell but what can you expect being near the canals! Fabio was very quick to respond whenever we had any questions and was very kind to help us carry our luggage up the stairs during check in. Overall this is a great place and I recommend to stay here during your vacation in Venice!

This was such a wonderful place to stay! A huge thank you to Maria, Valentina and Dimitri for everything. The apartment is in a peaceful and quiet part of town. Then after a few small steps, you are by the squares, and by many places to visit. The apartment is well stocked with anything you need and very comfortable. After each day of exploring Venice our favorite part was to open the door outside to sit on the steps and sit alongside the canal facing view. We also are so appreciative of the help with coordinating water taxis’ to and from the train station upon our arrival. This is one of our favorite and memorable places we have ever stayed in and are so grateful for this family who hosted us! Until next time!

Incredible stay from start to finish and fully justifies 5* review. Alice was an exceptional host throughout, reaching out to us in advance with detailed information about transfer options and very clear instructions for reaching the property. Apartment was immaculate and has been decorated and maintained to a really high standard. An amazing modern feel, excellent A/C, and so much space throughout. Location was perfect. A short walk from all key sites, while still feeling safe, private and quiet overnight. Alice shared great information with us about the best cafes/restaurants, and was very responsive throughout our stay to our questions. On checkout we were able to leave luggage in a safe space at no extra cost. Highest standard Airbnb we have stayed in, and would definitely recommend. We hope to return one day.

Our stay in Venice was nothing short of impeccable.This place was one of the most efficient and comfortable Airbnbs we have experienced. Lu was very responsive.She thought of everything in this place,there was nothing we needed that we couldn’t find there. Thanks to Lu,we felt at home in a city we visited for the first time.

If Diana Vreeland lived in Venice… Super classy apartment in a dreamy quiet courtyard. Giovanna met us at the vaperato stop and guided us to her sweet flat. Along the way she pointed out how to easily get around and talked about how things worked in her lovely home. We loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jerome and Catherine’s. We loved the quiet neighborhood, the canal views in front and garden views in back. It was so wonderful to come back to this quiet neighborhood after a long day of sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is in a great location, on a canal, very walkable to everything. We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. It started to feel like home away from home. Maddalena was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely return.

The service that was used for check-in was seamless and the individual who met us at the apartment was knowledgeable and helpful! The location was perfect, easily walkable to everywhere!

Was a beautiful and peaceful stay - Patrizia is a friendly and responsive host. The place is clean and stocked up with lots of amenities, hairdryer, air con, towels, etc. Do keep in mind that for this balcony view, the unit will be on the top floor so you'll have to be okay with carrying any heavy luggage up a couple flights of stairs as there are no elevators. Would have preferred to have a self check-in option but the host was communicative and flexible with coordinating timing to meet up for checking in and showing us around the unit. It is a great neighborhood also close to a small market and a great cafe (Majer) for a quick breakfast. Would recommend!

We loved our stay here. The perfect location and Stefano it a very responsive and helpful host. This is a very large and spacious house, with every amenity you would ever need. Very close to a Co-op supermarket and easy access from the Ospedale stop on the Water Bus. Very easy walk to all of the main parts of Venice and the location works wonderfully. One tip from me, the Island of Murano is really worth a visit and you are a 5 minute walk from the water bus stop that takes you there. Lots of bathrooms/shower rooms also makes everybody's life easy when you're trying to get out of the apartment to go and explore Venice. I would happily stay here again when we return to Venice.

It was a great stay in Venice! The apartment is very well located and close to everything. Only 10 mins from the train station as well. Overall, it was a very good stay.

We love Davide’s place! This is a converted barn which is very well designed. The space is comfortable has a small kitchen and a very nice bed on the attic. There is a nice pool and a great view. There is also a great outdoor balcony/patio space (covered). Davide is a great host. Helpful and friendly. We would certainly recommend it!

Erika was a very accommodating and very responsive host. The accommodation was very clean, spacious with all the amenities. It is well located, a 5-minute walk from a bus stop that takes us directly to Venice and 15 minutes from Mestre train station. We were also able to enjoy the outdoors with a large gallery and patio area. The area was quiet with a very good restaurant and bakery nearby as well as a grocery store 10 minutes' walk away. We were greeted by Carmen, a very friendly lady who was able to give us all the necessary information and instructions for accessibility to the accommodation. I recommend this place and I would not hesitate to go back.

Lara was a fantastic host, very friendly and amenable. Nothing was a problem, my son arrived earlier than expected and she was very happy to welcome him and his girlfriend into the accommodation earlier without hesitation. Lara’s apartment was perfectly located for us, an easy bus ride into Venice and lovely to stroll around Mestre. The apartment was very spacious and clean, a perfect size for 5 of us. We had an amazing few days and would definitely stay at Lara’s again. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful host.

An amazing flat in an amazing location! Didn't realize it till we were there but the location just seemed uniquely beautiful - evening for a uniquely beautiful city. Being on the corner of two canals made for interesting people watching - two bridges in view as well. The neighborhood was easily accessible via the San Stae vaporetto stop and Pierantonio's assistant Christine met us and walked us to the flat - communication was easy and the intro and walk up to the neighborhood was a great way to cut our teeth, this being our first visit to Venice. Highly recommend and would stay again for sure in any future visits! Thank you Pierantonio!

It was great stay! I enjoyed a lot, beautiful neighbourhood, not far from Venice! The flat was clean, good condition and taken care well. It made me to feel, that im at home. Monica is the kindest host 100% ever! For sure coming back!
